GameSpot's 55th Game Night will be held Tuesday, September 9, from 7PM to 9PM Pacific, and will feature Burnout Paradise on the Xbox 360. Want to know more? Here are some details!

    1. How do I get in on the action?
If you want to play, send a friends request to the following: gsadmin3

If things get really busy we will try to cycle people in and out as best we can. Once the game is up, you'll be able to jump right in. You should also join the chat room so I can communicate with all of you, which I'll open up around 6PM. I'll open my party and create a custom match. We'll have loads of fun!

Make sure your friend request is in by 6:30 on the day of the match!

1A. I am from Paraguay. What time is that for me?
    http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc

    2. Remind me—why are we doing this again?
For the fun of it! A lot of people want to play games that include GameSpot employees and other members of the community. For more information, take a look at the GameSpot Game Night FAQ .

    3. What mode will we be playing?
Whatever I am in the mood for. Prepare to be unprepared! Racing, elimination, cat and mouse… all of it!

    4. Why this game? Why not another one? Do chickens have lips?
I like to mix stuff up. Sometimes a popular game, sometimes something different. You know, to annoy you. You know it's working.

    5. Can I join once the match is going?
Once the race has started, you'll need to wait for the next room. Be sure to join the chat room so I know how many people are waiting to get into a race.

    6. What GameSpot folks will I be playing with?
Me--and someone else if I can get someone!

    7. What else do I need to know?
We'll be opening the GameSpot tournament chat room at least an hour before we're scheduled to play. To enter it, just go to this link: http://www.gamespot.com/chat/chat.php?room=GameSpot_Tournament . That way you can get information from GameSpot staff and hobnob with your buddies before the game starts.

Any disorderly behavior disqualifies you from participation and may earn you a moderation, suspension, or permanent ban. Please refrain from using harassing, negative, or profane language in either the Tournament chat or the game instance.

Don't cheat. No cheats or hacks of any kind are to be used. Taking advantage of known exploits in the game is also considered cheating. Doing any of that is considered against the spirit of the event, and if you are found to be cheating, you will be asked not to join future game nights.

    8. So no bad language?
Keep it clean. If you let slip a swear or two in voice chat, though, I am not going to have a fit or anything.

    9. You mentioned something about "bounties" in the Game Night FAQ. What is up with that?
Every week, a player that meets the bounty requirement will get to take part in a grudge match later in the year against other bounty hunters. That match will take place on a game that pretty much anyone can play, such as a free bowling game, or some other such frivolity. The winner of the Grudge Match will receive a special emblem in his or her profile. Other emblems may also be awarded to players based on performance, wins, or other criteria.

    10. What's this week's bounty requirement?
This week's bounty winner will be chosen based on what player the editors feel kicked their butts most. It's not a scientific system, I know, but after Resistance Night, it was clear which players we're dogging the editors, and it is bound to be the same this time as well. So if you want the emblem, gang up on us. Just remember: if you pick on me too much, I have the power to ban!

    11. I am totally the best, and you know it. What if you give the emblem to some other dude, even if I know I am better?
The tears will drip from my eyes as I hand out the emblem.

    12. So, do I have a good chance of kicking GameSpot butt?

I'm not bad at Burnout. Let the buttkicking begin!

    13. Do I get an emblem for playing?
The only emblem goes to the bounty winner. It's next to impossible for me to keep up with who enters the server and who doesn't. Besides, isn't gloating over GameSpot Staff a great reward? Just don't send any mouthy messages to me on Xbox Live. Remember: I will be playing on an office machine, not my own!

YAY!!!! I'm excited for this game night. Where do we send the friend request to? Or should I just wait until the chatroom opens up?

This is a pretty cool feature, I never knew Gamespot had this. But can you maybe tell us what games you're playing maybe 2 weeks in advance so we have time to get it from Gamefly?
