if it truly is unopened you can sell it for around 500 since that is the going rate of BC 80gigs right now. you might be able to get more cause some people are seriously into getting a 60 gigger, so like maybe 550-650 for the right person. then again sometimes people are more cautious from buying such a big ticket item from a private buyer.
my recommendation (beyond keeping it for some awesome games coming out soon) is to try and see if you can off it to someone you know or at least sort of know for the very fair price of 500. that way the person knows you and knows your legit and you are giving someone you know a slight break on an awesome piece of hardware.
I didn't Really wanna sell it because theres alot of good games coming out for it but I also have a 360 and I cant afford to buy games for both systems so I thought i would sell the ps3 and I would be able to get more games for my 360. Do you guys think this is a bad move?gibson52
I would keep the system if I were you. The 360 have the best games right now, but in the future the PS3 will oust the 360 when it comes to better games.

All the best games coming out in the next couple of years are ether multi plat or Ps3 exclusive so why sell?

Only you can know if it's a bad move.
Look at the games out, and coming out for both systems, and see which system offers the games you most want to play.
If it's a matter of money, don't forget that if you play online, the 360 eats away at your budget. It's "only" $50, sure, but it eliminates a game from you every year.
Other then games, do you have interest in watching Blu-ray movies?
See, you just need to look at the big picture - games (out and coming out), online play, movies, features, etc - and see what's right for you.
one more question why is the 60GB so special? gibson52
:) YOU WILL GET RICH! IF YOU SELL IT.
PS3 system 60gb is so special because the system is original.
- USBfour
-All PSX and PS2 games backwards compatibility
- Memory cards CF, SD/miniSD, Memory Stick Duo
- SACD =super audio cd is music for multi-channel and stereo.
-fancy real logo "PlayStation 3"on system.
- WiFi wireless and bluetooth wireless
I would say price is $800-900.
Keep the 60 it has the most features and why would you want to have a ps2 also?? That just doesn't make since.
Anyways yeah there's a lot of good games that are already set to come out and Sony's E3 hasn't even happened yet.
And judging from Microsoft's press conference, they really don't have any good games coming out.. IMO
