I was just wondering what games give you a great workout while playng the Wii. The only ones that I am currently aware of are Wii Fit, DDR, and Wii Sports. Any other out there that make you sweat a little of give you a workout while playing?

I only really got a workout from Wii sports while playing the boxing training games, especially working the punching bag.

I think those three mentioned are probably the best; I don't know of any others that would give you a workout.

Wii Fit is the only one that I think actually counts as a work out. All the others can make you move, but won't do anything other than hurt your wrist. I guess a whole lot of WarioWare will work after a while.

Mine are SSBB, cause I use the nunchuck and remote together. Making it a workout playing Brawl instead of just the remote or Gamcube controlls.

Wii Sports or SSX skiing for Wii a little. I am gonna get WII FIT but its sold out everywhere already.

Maybe he already works out, but wants to work out while he's playing games, too. That way, he won't feel like he's rotting in a chair. Sometimes, if I haven't gotten much exercise for the day, sitting and playing games makes me feel like I should be doing something. That's why I'll still pop in Wii Sports every now and then.

Wii Sports Boxing is pretty good for a nice boxing work out, if you do it right. But like I recommend to anyone else, get off the Wii and go do some real excercise.

I'm a little late in responding, but according to this list: http://www.nutwiisystem.com/best-wii-exercise-games.html The best games are: EA Sports Active Dance Dance Revolution Active Life: Outdoor Challenge I admit, I still prefer a nice jog or bike ride, but when its 25 degrees or 95 degrees out, it's good to have an indoor alternative!

i have heard some great things about ea sports active for people looking to get in shape who have not exercised on a consistent basis. i do not use it though because my level of fitness is beyond that. for people looking for a good starting point it's probably great.

a lot has happened in a year to change people's response, perhaps. still seems relevant to me.
