hook ethernet cable from cable modem in to the router (line in). Run another ethernet cable from router to computer. Install software if necessary. Set your PS3 to wireless network in settings. Good to go. Follow router's guide for setting up encryption (WEP)

Well, your wireless router should be hooked up to the modem to your computer.

All you really need to do is go to Settings>Network Settings> and find the internet connections and set to "wireless"

enter in your security code which you can find under "192.168.1.1" in your web browser. the password should be "admin" by default.

If the plug fits then your getting somewhere, it a plug doesn't fit then it isnt supposed to go into that hole... Its that simple... Then Go Network Settings and follow the easy onscreen instructions.
