Yes, you'll get hacked by someone. Because after all this time nobody has figured out how to protect your vital information. All someone has to do is ping your ip (from your ps3) & in the ping say "credit card". Then it will give all your information to that user thinking it's the Playstation Network. BE VERY CAREFUL.

And if you believe that, your as stupid as your question. :3 *not insult intended*

of course it is, if it wasn't safe then they wouldn't let you do it, SOny has enough problems right now, the last thing they'd want is to blamed for allowing credit card fraud.

Yea Sony wouldn't be about to ask for your detaisl fi it wasn't safe, they'd get themselves into too much trouble if someone lost heaps of money because their security encryption or whatever you call it got hacked. If you're still feeling unsure, just delete your details after you used it, like another poster recommended

Hey was up, I am also from nicaragua, I am sorry I cant really help you out with your problem, but I wanted to ask you, Playstation Network is available in nicaragua? I own an xbox360 but xbox live is not offered in nicaragua and that frustrates the hell out of me, I am thinking of just selling my xbox to buy the ps3, just to be able to play online!

It's safer than going to a restaurant and giving your Credit card to a 17 year old that goes to the back of the restaurant to charge you for your bill. All they need to do is write your credit card number down and expiration date and they can go shopping on-line that night.

    Think about it.
