okay, i'm going to order one of these monitors soon and i can't decide which one to order...

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824116065 - this is a ViewSonic19 inch widescreen monitor and costs $160 after a $40 mail-in rebate...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824014131 - this is a BenQ 22 inch widescreen monitor and costs $300 after $40 discount...

i'm getting a monitor for my xbox 360 and i can't decide between these two monitors... which seems to be the better deal? a $160 ViewSonic 19 inch widescreen monitor or a $300 BenQ 022 inch widescreen monitor? i would really appreciate your help

Well if it solely for the 360, then 22 inch would be more suited, not THAT much difference between them though.Thats if its for 360 only.

I'd check first if the 360 outputs an appropriate resolution for the 22". Last I heard was on a screen that's 1440x..., the 360 was still outputting 1280x... so it would have been stretched slightly, but still sharp because the monitor was displaying at 1440. (native resolution)

If that's the case, then for a screen that is 1680...the image would have to be stretched even more...maybe decreasing the quality a bit?

I'm not sure how it all works though but I just thought I'd tell you.
