Happy to report, i have (i think) succesfully overclocked my E6400 to 2.6 from 2.13(stock cooling). Today i just decided to print out this rather good tutorial, and i did it. A bit scared because i had never done this. One thing im worried about is i did not change my RAM timings, because im not even sure what they are, it didnt say any wehre on the package, so i left it at 5-4-4-15. If anyone knows please tell me, its Corsair Value Select PC2-5300 DDR2 RAM. Anywho, ill post some benchmarks.

Those timings look okay to me.  I didn't have to change mine after OCing my E6600.  Also, I think you could probably squeeze a bit more out of that CPU, but if you're still sitting with stock cooling i wouldn't recommend it yet hehe.  Very nice though

He wasn't boasting.  In fact, he was asking a question based on what he'd done.  No need to get all snobby!

Yeh man seriously, its not boasting, just wanted to share my excitement, cause it was my first time OCing a CPU, and further, i dont think itd be smart to do some crazy 3.0-3.6 ghz OC when its my first time, and im using stock cooling.
