    Here's a site I ran across to. I presume that it will keep in track of the upcomming sales for the Wii and PS3 accurately as possible.

    I heard it was a little nearer 7-8 million consoles sold. They had sold 5 million in June, and the summer is the slowest time for games and consoles because everyone is away spending their money on holidays and outdoor entertainment. But Microsoft managed to keep 360's selling strongly through this usually dry season with the releases of Saint's Row and Dead Rising (which did amazingly well in Europe). Now the latest results have not been announced yet, but unless MS have sold no consoles in almost 3 months, you can expect the figure to be around 7 million.
    Things are looking well on their way to 10 million consoles sold by the end of the fall with games like Gears of War, Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six and FEAR coming out in that season.

    Their goal was to sell 10 million by the end of the holiday season...but as of now, I think they are around 6.5 million sold [pretty good]. I know I'm getting mine this X-mas [black xbox 360 hopefully]
