Lee-Enfield 3.03(inch). (Has a hell of a kick to it, though. The stripped back barrel stock isn't so heavy on the recoil).
Kar 98k (Much smoother reload action and the recoil is a lot less than the Enfield).
Mosin-Nagant (7.62mm)
   As an Air Cadet with the RAAF in 1978, we were issued with Lee-Enfields. I have to say then, and  prior to this (growing up on British Commando comics), I thought the Enfield the most "good-looking" of rifles of WWII. There's something solid and 'rifley' about it that makes it look like it could blast a wall down (trouble is, it would take your shoulder with it).
