It's the flag of those Europeans that were banished to the west for being too prudish, isn't it?

Wulf: >prudish

And yet who was going steady with the Moon?  You know it.  Now to get some of that sweet Mars action.

SBK: >it worked

Naturally.

>shield is well designed

Not as a f***ing shield it isn't.  As a means to deal damage it is okay and for a string leading to a superior attack with our Blades it is fantastic.  Neither of which one would have expected from a SHIELD where all else basically fails.  Even the regular Blades.

>OSoO

It was designed to be OP while being a broken piece of buggy s***.

>privileged upbringing

Not nearly enough time spent nearly being raped by adoptive fathers and hanging out with effiminate evil messiahs.  Casca had the superior training.  Granted, she never made it long enough to become a Mystic Knight as she could have done if she were not full retard by the time Guts (and friends *a steadily growing group of youth*) was balls deep in magic.

>sound right

Sounds generous.

>Mother of God

And you can't blame the woman for it.  AT did that all on his own.  Boobee.  Yeah.  Real cute, old man.

>because DS has a stamina bar

What about it?

>wants you to answer your own questions for him

"Don't you sass me, boy." - GMG

>KH3 board

Noted.

>Movie Hulk

Which movie?  Not that it matters.  A neutral world is part of a general 'versus' set-up.  One where both have their abilities.  As for his nonsense world 'without magic', the "science" is magic.  It's nonsense.  Sci-fi to an extreme.  Not that it matters. Reality Warping doesn't require 'magic' an can completely overshadow it in the same way that magic mocks the physical.

>what happens

Hulk prays she doesn't go off-screen.

>probably an expert

Worth targeting this for more chances to dub him a casual and a scrub.

>isn't he the enemy

"You'd think so, wouldn't you?" - Dante

>buffed

Making them things like 'Fire' or whatever won't make the bow deal fire damage sadly.  Putting CMW or resins and that sort of thing on them won't work either.  That only affects the backstab (direct damage).  The infamous dragon two-handed bow backstab comes to mind.  They can be improved for better damage though.  In the run done by LobosJr, I believe he went with a Composite Bow (+10 or maybe +15).

>never won a fight in canon

...He and Goku (regarding Vegeta) have something in common, then.

>not a European one

And that's why when someone asks if I'm free for event or whatever I'll tell them, "I am an American.  Of course I'm free".

It's the flag of those Europeans

Who immigrated from Africa.

And yet who was going steady with the Moon?

Not Europe.

Not as a f***ing shield it isn't.

Therein lies the brilliance.

As a means to deal damage it is okay and for a string leading to a superior attack with our Blades it is fantastic.

I AM CAPTAIN PLANET.

It was designed to be OP while being a broken piece of buggy s***.

Who wants to fight battles anymore? Just call the clone and let 'er rip.

Granted, she never made it long enough to become a Mystic Knight

Had she achieved it, the series might well be over by now.

as she could have done if she were not full retard by the time Guts

In her defense, he does have a very strong chin.

Sounds generous.

A quarter?

AT did that all on his own.

"Good Grief."-Charlie Brown

What about it?

It gives the combat 'structure', because you without it you can 'attack and dodge without consequence'.

Noted.

He's already dropped the Hulk part. Here's the first thread: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/932981-final-fantasy-xv/66906329

And here's the thread he started up in again (don't ask): http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/718920-kingdom-hearts-iii/67010605

I come in at post 176 in the latter and 135 in the former (though the fun doesn't start for another 20 posts).

One where both have their abilities.

It's clear Hulk can't fight Sora on even ground, or even at a huge advantage (no Genie).

Hulk prays she doesn't go off-screen.

He can't do anything else about it.

Worth targeting this for more chances to dub him a casual and a scrub.

He refuses to tell me anything about SL1. Claims to have done a Hard KMS now.

The infamous dragon two-handed bow backstab comes to mind.

I forgot about those.

He and Goku (regarding Vegeta) have something in common, then.

Being loved for no reason whatsoever?

"I am an American. Of course I'm free".

"Beautiful"-Rodin

Played a bit more DD:DA.  Accidently went to BBI (then left).  Missed an obvious chest in the Water God's Altar down in the main area after taking out the water.  Soulflayer Canyon's design irked me as it was dark and I couldn't see where to slide at the 'end' (loop) to get to the 'letter'.  Did some other minor crap, but by this point Exequy, Maelstrom and Bolide were things finally (aside from silly stuff to try out for ourselves like High Miasma *before 'Death'*).  Maelstrom and Bolide don't need praises sung.  I just wanted to note the obvious with Death spell regarding some foes (Phantasms) being unreasonably resistant, how it drops off cliffs (works against it a bit), has a small AoE (until 'High', I'm sure), etc.  That's it for cons.  The constant stamina drain doesn't bother me.  I like using it like others with sense.  Scout ahead for foes (even if I don't intend to cast it on them) and catch groups unaware and assassinate.  Focused Holy Bolt (or whatever) has been doing real work for shooting through walls, finding foes that I can't see (night trips), refilling HP, etc.  Nothing new or exciting about that, though the degree of stagger it had on the Ogres was surprising.  Obviously I favor attacking through walls with it from good range (to keep things as unfair as they can be for the AI).  Nearly MAX'd with that class, so we'll be parting with the glory soon enough.  It'll be back to Staff or Daggers when Magic Archer gets his turn.  I'm betting we'll encounter a Golem (and Metal Golem) before too long with a class that gets pretty well thrashed for relying on magic.  Neat.

Do you recall if the Sorceror augment for fast casts applies to other 'magic' skills (Archer or Mage)?  Probably not.  This besides whether it at all affects the filling of the meter for Exequy.  I'm more interested in the latter being a thing.  It suits my tastes very well and doesn't mess with my vision at all.  Just not great for 'in the heat of things'.  Pawns really can't use it well, so I avoid picking those that have it.  I'd rather they 'mirror' their master when he casts Maelstrom and/or Bolide.  That's it.  That is all I want from them at any time.  Just keep casting those two and we're good.

NOTE: If you can't tell, Eternal is still taking a backseat to playing the game.  Mostly just watching and making small calls.

Been working on Special Bonus-ing DMC1. Up to M10, but have to redo 3 & 7. Both have unavoidable health draining sections that f**** up the damage requirement. You have to do a Secret Mission in M3, and may have to in 7. Got M3 done with the Orb, Time *stupid tight*, Secret Mission, and don't believe I was hit, but still didn't get the SB. Must have taken too much damage from the water (have to DT more). 7 completely refuses to give the rank regardless of Time and Orb requirements. I'm apparently really slow at the game.

Missed an obvious chest in the Water God's Altar down in the main area after taking out the water.

For a necessary item, or just normal trash?

Maelstrom and Bolide don't need praises sung.

Stealth Maelstrom's. Do it.

Scout ahead for foes (even if I don't intend to cast it on them) and catch groups unaware and assassinate.

I didn't use it much myself. Probably great for mid level foes (Saurians).

Nothing new or exciting about that, though the degree of stagger it had on the Ogres was surprising.

"Fighter is better."-a casual.

By endgame you'd be killing Ogre's with a couple shots. Was one-shotting the Saurians on my way to Grigori.

It'll be back to Staff or Daggers when Magic Archer gets his turn.

That upgraded fire dagger attack (not Immolate) locks down Ogres pretty damn well. The ice shot and Explosive Rivets are what you'll be wanting to focus on, with Magic Rebalancer and Immolate for daggers.

Do you recall if the Sorceror augment for fast casts applies to other 'magic' skills (Archer or Mage)?

It does, but I don't think it works for faster Exequy.

I'd rather they 'mirror' their master when he casts Maelstrom and/or Bolide.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

If you can't tell, Eternal is still taking a backseat to playing the game. Mostly just watching and making small calls.

Teamwork is an important skill in all walks of life.

"Well that's too f***ing bad!"

Because it's wrong it kill with chemicals, but A-OK with bullets. That's why we use lethal injection.

Wasn't it that before?

Just a Hard KMS. He hasn't mentioned this or MGR in a while. His newest endeavor is explaining how him spelling words wrong isn't wrong, because 'ancient literary geniuses' *that Google is clueless of* did so. Though he then claimed they spelled correctly.

It's for the weak.

Hence Kratos needed it to kill Zeus.

Chi-Chi knew what she was doing.

Gohan's brains aren't from his father's side.

Got to attend to Deeb's thread about GKPAIN+ vs PAIN+ when I get time to go on about all of that.  I've already covered all of that with him (including GKTMNUR, GKPAIN, NUR, NUR+, etc.) in YT comments previously.  Doing it all again without using those for reference (or copypasta) isn't the sort of thing I wish to rush into.  Perhaps he'll remember which video it was.  *briefly checks* There it is: http://www.youtube.com/all_comments?v=x4A8WQw40Jo

I'll use it for reference when we go over old ground.  It's a discussion I've had with a few vets over the years.  AD and gent readily come to mind.  Maybe Shin and Taz too.

This said, Tid got God Hand.  I told him to speak with you about it when he wishes to learn.  For now, he's going at it on his own to enjoy his first time through Normal.

My cousin is still playing through DS:PTDE.  He's at just after getting the Lord Vessel.  Too bad he forgot to record his time in Anor Londo.  Apparently he ran past a lot, didn't really find any hidden areas (unsurprising), killed an invader and summoned Solaire (who won the fight for him mostly).  I don't have details on who he killed first.  I'm guessing Ornstein despite his weapon (Lighting Spear +3).  I've yet to teach him Miracles, Sorcery or Pyromancy.  Lots of ground to cover still.  He doesn't backstab or riposte yet.  He's obviously missed many NPC interactions, items, lore tidbits, hidden areas (and their foes), etc.  All this is what one should expect a blind playthrough to be though.  If he keeps at it like this, he probably won't get to experience the optional stuff until a second playthrough (which will have to be played very differently *the game does allow for this*).

>Special Bonus-ing DMC1

Oh?

>at M10

>redo M3/M7

>unavoidable damage through life drain

Cute.

>ur2slow

Sanic, pls.

>necessary item

The last of the five slates to be done with the place.  I'd had him do the place on his own, but had to come back to mop up for him.  I was trying to figure out what was overlooked.  That was it.

>do it

I did. I knew foe spawns were above me.  Like with PR in GoW1, I killed those above the casting point.

>great for mid-level foes

You namedropped the exact foe I was working with in the area (aside from Goblins).  Low-ish HP types.  For those with a bit more 'life' in them, I'd probably be needing stamina recovery items if not some of that Vim action.

>Fighter is better

Than Strider?

>killing Ogre's with a few shots

Lovely stuff.  Having the charge time for the move reduced would be a worthwhile augment (or ring).  The heavy focused move isn't all that impressive.  Some more Summoned Swords style actions for the bolts would probably be better.  Blocking shots along with dealing some damage to those that get too close to the soft body of a magic user.

>fire dagger attack

We talking the TR knock-off with talk of the Sun in the name?  I had interest in it for free fire damage (as with the somewhat meh Strider 'explosion' move).

>ice shot

The homing?

>Explosive Rivets

I seem to recall some use of this in a video with the strongest Hydra variant.

>Magic Rebalancer

Don't remember it.  Sacrifice is something I hadn't forgotten though.

>Immolate

Who could forget this craziness?

>doesn't work for faster Exequy

Curses.  Foiled again.

>don't fix it

*glares at GoW devs*

>teamwork

Yes, he'll do me the favor of napping, getting high and eatting while I play his character for him.  Go team.

>why we use Lethal Injection

I thought it was because we hated money.

>just Hard KMS

Ah, so it did go up a bit.  Next it will be Fresh Hard KMS NUR.  Maybe toss in the condition of refusing to use ring-outs, wall locks, items, object toss, etc.  2casul

>defensive about his spelling

And I'm sure he'll love having his grammatical errors slapped about too.  Don't they all?

>why Kratos needed it

Quite.

>aren't from his father's side

It might still be (just with good education).  It's just that Goku took that rough blow to the head (making him 'special').  It's really not so impressive to be 'good' when you're too stupid to be tempted by the 'evils' of the world.  Vegeta's turn away from all that is more notable.  The higher one's intelligence, the more admirable it is to see one choose good.  Being dumb and evil is charming in quite another way.

I've already covered all of that with him (including GKTMNUR, GKPAIN, NUR, NUR+, etc.) in YT comments previously.

GKTMNUR vs NUR+ is pretty clear cut. Early Spear and BoO break the game.

I told him to speak with you about it when he wishes to learn.

I'd be happy to help him anyway I can. Perhaps he can be the first to post a Fresh Hard KMS NUR of 8-1.

My cousin is still playing through DS:PTDE.

He emphasizing STR or DEX?

>Solaire soloing

...no one tells SoH.

I'm guessing Ornstein despite his weapon (Lighting Spear +3).

Not a pleasant experience. I find Super Ornstein more predictable than Smough.

I've yet to teach him Miracles, Sorcery or Pyromancy.

Wonder how Dark Bead compares to HCSA.

He doesn't backstab or riposte yet.

Gwyn's a good teacher.

All this is what one should expect a blind playthrough to be though.

Can't play optimally until you know where everything is, how to upgrade, how the weapons compare, etc. Can't be helped.

Oh?

Picked it up again recently. It's harder than most of PAIN+; getting it in one go is rare (even for short missions). Lots of retreading. SB tactics are VERY exact.

Sanic, pls.

First damage-less M10 clear was 5:25. Time limit is 4:30.

The last of the five slates to be done with the place.

Damn priest can get his own rocks.

I knew foe spawns were above me.

Never knew what hit them.

Than Strider?

"Than everything, because tactics."

The heavy focused move isn't all that impressive.

No, not at all. Spiral bolts would be lovely on a MK.

We talking the TR knock-off with talk of the Sun in the name?

Yes.

The homing?

Correct. Your second best shot after Rivets and Sacrifice. Good damage, stagger, and murders foes weak to ice.

I seem to recall some use of this in a video with the strongest Hydra variant.

It's good stuff. You can only have nine in one foe, but it's high damage and one of the strongest launch/stagger properties in the game (even better than Corona Slash). Rivets to the face murders Ogres.

Don't remember it.

Magic buff for the party that lasts a while.

Sacrifice is something I hadn't forgotten though.

Big damage and shuts up pawns.

Who could forget this craziness?

Even better than Gale Harness. Remember it scales with STR (to some degree).

*glares at GoW devs*

"MP breathed new life into the franchise."-the devs

Yes, he'll do me the favor of napping, getting high and eatting while I play his character for him.

It's harder than it looks.

I thought it was because we hated money.

Only in the private sector.

Maybe toss in the condition of refusing to use ring-outs, wall locks, items, object toss, etc.

No techniques. Free moves only.

And I'm sure he'll love having his grammatical errors slapped about too.

He's spelling correctly in a language he made up.

Don't they all?

And they don't have the courtesy to thank us for the service rendered.

It's really not so impressive to be 'good' when you're too stupid to be tempted by the 'evils' of the world.

Same goes for being strong (making Vegeta twice as impressive).

Being dumb and evil is charming in quite another way.

Why are they trying to ruin Kratos's appeal?

>pretty clear cut

Hard to argue otherwise.  I've noted how NG+ compares to NG.  GK can only be on NG+.  NG+ does not allow for NER.  NER is part of what PAIN/PAIN+ are.  They're comprimised from the start before other perks factor. GK is another thing.  His cons worked around almost entirely and his strengths are notable for a run focused on tactics favoring him.  When just focused on GKTMNUR vs NUR+, there isn't much room to argue.  It has to go back down to NUR for there to be any case at all.

>happy to help

Perhaps I'll invite him to speak here for convenience (being that you don't have a YT account still).  I forget if Tid has posted here yet.

>he can be the first

We'll see about all that.  Doing the Clones is a good start, but I don't really know that it is enough.

>STR or DEX

STR (to a small degree).  No FTH, DEX or INT.  Some VIT and END.  Warned him about RES.  He doesn't understand attunement (won't concern him until he actually knows how to use that stuff anyway).  Somewhat typical of first time player.  Picking "Wanderer" aside.

>no one tells SoH

He must never know.

>not a pleasant experience

If he knew the fight well, just fleeing the butt stomp and keeping under his mid-sweep isn't so bad.  The charge is where pillars come into play if you don't want to be evading around him (or outranging it).  Poison/Toxic...I think Super Smough gains increased resistance to them.  Bleed is as good as before (somewhat troublesome even at this 'medium' resistance).  His lightning resist goes up a bit.  Magic is still lowish.  Fire works well, Arisen.  I don't pay attention to the different melee swing types.  If I could read the icons better, I probably would though.  I like knowing that sort of thing.

>Dark Bead

If he doesn't get the spell, it won't be something he can comment on.

>good teacher

On the riposte front, yes.  Invaders and NPCs are good encouragement to learn backstabs (I feel).

>can't be helped

My Chinese Cartoons told me it was so.

>very exact

I'm sure you're loving the pressure.

>time limits

Bleh.

>get his own rocks

Would be nice if I could beat him with the slates by selecting "Use".  I wanted to be the one to kill his stupid friend for showing up their early.  Not enough games let you alter the course of missions that way.  X thing that hasn't happened yet for a mission?  Well I stopped that from being a problem (or I caused it to be an issue by murdering the guy).  Oh well.

>because tactics

Of course.  Something the other classes lack, yes?

>not at all

I wasn't expecting them to just explode for light damage on contact. I was hoping they stuck around for loads of hits while still active.  Something I could apply then jump on an enemy with like a mad man.

>weak to ice

Saurians and Goblins.  What else?

>high launch/stagger

"Now we're talking." - M. Bison

>magic buff

As in making 'magic' damage for your party higher?  Useful for team Sorcery.

>mouthy pawn

>sacrifice

>misses

"What a gaffe."  "I was clumsy."  Useless to the end, these dirt bags.

>scales with STR

Which is what Fighters level, correct?  What does Warrior give? I think I still have charts for this crap.

>new life

Cancer is not life.  It is inevitable death unless removed before the damage becomes irreversible.

>harder than it looks

He just makes it look easy.

>free moves only

Light attack spam and pummels, is it?

>in a made up language

How quaint.

>insufficient class to be thankful

Good thing we're not in it for all that business.

>strong

Then there is the matter of techniques and how they got them.  Vegeta made his.  Consider this.  Goku was taught Kamehameha and Kaio-Ken.  The former concentrates the power level of the user to a single point to allow for a higher reading than the real 'limit' of that fighter (Raditz fight demonstrates this).  Kaoi-Ken took Goku beyond his limits.  Goku was at 8K for Nappa.  With just KKx2 he was at 16K (not enough to match Vegeta at 18K *only surprise him*).  With KKx3 (should be 24K) he was overwhelming Vegeta.  Despite KKx3 (power advantage) and Kamehameha (another boost), Goku was only equal to Vegeta's Galic Gun (self-taught equivalent to Kamehameha).  He needed KKx4 (32K) to overpower him completely in their struggle.  Just how much of a boost was he getting from the Galic Gun to have matched someone that much stronger (percentage wise) than him?  In DBZ, it's often said that 20% more power is a big gap between fighters.  How good is that move?  And he never uses it again.

Instead he makes BBA and later Final Flash.  The latter was a move able to close enough of the gap with Perfect Cell to have potential to do real harm (even kill him) should it have caught all of him (rather than just clip him).  This is likely just due to him being a fool by taking the hit and not powering up while resisting with his own ki attack.  Even still, making his own moves and doing as well as he does in fights is impressive.  He was the only known Saiyan to control his Oozaru state while being among the few that could bring it out without the moon (at a high cost).

>why ruin Kratos

Because casuals want to identify with their avatar, yes?  And it is less "trying" and more "doing".

Perhaps I'll invite him to speak here for convenience

Works for me. What's the name of his channel, by the way?

being that you don't have a YT account still

I've been bouncing around the idea of getting a capture card for the holidays.

Doing the Clones is a good start, but I don't really know that it is enough.

In theory, it should be fairer than the Clones (critical HSK/Charge Punch>Jump Roundhouse, some sweep kicks), the problem is the impossibly high execution barrier.

STR (to a small degree). No FTH, DEX or INT. Some VIT and END.

Doesn't really come together until SL100+ (where you start hitting 40 in several stats).

Warned him about RES.

Wonder if they'll remove the junk stat altogether or go back to Luck.

Fire works well, Arisen.

An upgraded Quelaag's Furysword makes short work of both of them.

Invaders and NPCs are good encouragement to learn backstabs (I feel).

Knights too.

I'm sure you're loving the pressure.

You better believe it. Back to school and NG2. Talk of projectile spam on MN...wasn't exaggerated.

Would be nice if I could beat him with the slates by selecting "Use".

Load him up and kick him into the river. Not so fun being overly encumbered, is it?

Not enough games let you alter the course of missions that way.

It's what makes DmC so great. Need to collect an eye for an old man to open a door? Fly through the door. Need to pound some keys to decrypt a code? Fly through the wall.

Well I stopped that from being a problem

If they wanted him alive, they should have been more specific.

Oh well.

Give me mah XP. Give me mah monies.

Something the other classes lack, yes?

All they have is cheap easy modes. Real Arisen fight sword and shield (nothing else).

Saurians and Goblins. What else?

Gorechimera. Hellhounds might be as well.

As in making 'magic' damage for your party higher?

Yes, but it only buffs offense for the advanced version.

Useless to the end, these dirt bags.

Not anymore.

Which is what Fighters level, correct? What does Warrior give?

IIRC, Assassin is tops for STR gains, then Warrior, then Fighter. Warrior has the highest HP growth in the game.

It is inevitable death unless removed before the damage becomes irreversible.

It' all up to Dr. Barlog.

He just makes it look easy.

He wants to spare you his pain.

Light attack spam and pummels, is it?

>light attacks

Only with weapons.

How quaint.

He's given up arguing with me, but still hangs around the threads (just like he said he wouldn't).

Vegeta made his.

As did Piccolo and Hell, even Gotenks. Come on Goku, step it up.

Just how much of a boost was he getting from the Galic Gun to have matched someone that much stronger (percentage wise) than him?

50% conservatively. To overcome at least a 33% gap and equal whatever the other technique was doing, and then staying competitive for another 33% boost is incredible. No wonder Vegito wrecked Buuhan so thoroughly with only a portion of his power.

In DBZ, it's often said that 20% more power is a big gap between fighters.

Vegeta dominated one of Frieza's lackey's with a 10% difference or so.

How good is that move?

And unlike KK, fusion or SS3, it doesn't risk harm to the user, burn out or exhaust them. Gohan could have probably killed Buutenks (easily) had he known it.

It also shows how broken KK was. An easy x2 power boost with few consequences (up to x3-x4 if needed)? If they were going into an already unstable state (SS3), why not KK immediately and end the fight as soon as possible? If you couldn't win under those circumstances, how could you win at all?

This is likely just due to him being a fool by taking the hit and not powering up while resisting with his own ki attack.

As an Ascended Saiyan, Goku was only able to replicate what Vegeta had done, despite being much closer in power to Cell at the time (before powering up).

He was the only known Saiyan to control his Oozaru state

Another example of him willing to win the fight at any cost.

Because casuals want to identify with their avatar, yes?

They couldn't just give him glasses?

>his channel

Tidthier.

No cheap tricks, eh?

>40 in several stats

Sounds like a job for forest farming if not more major exploiting.

>remove the junk stat

Or make it a major increase to resistances as it would imply itself to be (but wasn't outside one consideration).

>short work

Yes, there was a chap suggesting it and Silver Knight armor.  Another went with Stone and BKGS (for Ornstein first) *naked against Super Smough*.

>knight too

Just not the B. boys from the land of Tarkus.

>projectile spam of MN in NG2

No exaggerations at all.

>not so fun

Should have been able to Combine the Slates with "Iron Boots" to make "Concrete Slab Boots" to drop him over the waterfall in.  See what the Brine makes of that.

>DmC and flying

Real breakthrough in Action.  Truly the Savior of the genre.

>sword and shield

Certainly not items and pawns.  That's a load of nonsense.

>Warrior for HP

>Assassin for STR

And Fighter for the 'wasted time' stat.

>up to the Doctor

Will he even have the chance to play ball?  Will they try to rig the game on him?

>like he said he wouldn't

Remind him that a man is only as good as his word.  If his word is dubious, what does this make of him?

>even Gotenks

Not all good, but he's still a boy.  The nonsense with Ghosts was a nice touch.

>incredible

It would have to be if KKx3 already put Goku above Vegeta's MAX output and Kamehameha is supposed to focus that power to take the total higher...yet Galic Gun took Vegeta to equal ground.  Truly remarkable.

>10% gap or so

Yes, even that much is difficult to overcome in DBZ.  Just makes Vegeta's success over Goku's 'god' given technique all the more impressive.

>could have killed Buutenks

Or at least done something.  In the manga, it was a one-way slaughter.  In the anime, he only faired slightly better through filler.

>KK with SS

KK was dropped like many other things.  AT simply forgot about it.

>can't close the deal with a huge power boost

The Goku story.

>Goku needed to be on equal power level footing to damage Cell

He also needed to be at point blank.

>couldn't just give him glasses

Cheetos, Mountain Dew, etc.  You know the drill.

Tidthier.

Thanks. I was expecting a FF reference.

One needs one and uploads to have an account?

Point taken. I should have time to set it up tomorrow.

No cheap tricks, eh?

Not that I know of with the basic moveset. You can chuck some crates and use the stun baton (if you can get it).

Sounds like a job for forest farming if not more major exploiting.

Forest is available early (before Gargoyles if you can afford it). Makes the Drake Sword rather pointless.

Or make it a major increase to resistances as it would imply itself to be (but wasn't outside one consideration).

Best we could hope for. They don't seem to like letting any stat cut damage significantly. A weapon that scaled with Luck/Resistance would be nice.

*naked against Super Smough*.

I like the cut of his jib.

Just not the B. boys from the land of Tarkus.

Never trust a hoodie.

No exaggerations at all.

CH1 was lots of counter attacks, x,x,y (Dragon Sword's go-to delimber), UTs, and Flying Swallows (the decap chance is pretty high and zipping around keeps you safe). Claws and Flails impressed me on Mentor. The former's ->y is a superb delimber, unlike its S2 counterpart. Consistently delimbs all humanoids, Lycans, Gajas, and Van Gelfs. Pretty good for Zombies too (and x,y,y,y always takes off a leg). Flail x,x,y,y has to be the best decapitating attack in the game, even affecting the spider marionettes. Lovin Piercing Mountain.

See what the Brine makes of that.

Breakfast.

Truly the Savior of the genre.

Because DMC fans love playing as not-Dante.

That's a load of nonsense.

An 'easy mode', even.

And Fighter for the 'wasted time' stat.

It has to beat the Hybrids at something.

Will he even have the chance to play ball? Will they try to rig the game on him?

That's what Obamacare's for.

If his word is dubious, what does this make of him?

Womanly.

The nonsense with Ghosts was a nice touch.

If he learned to fire off kai attacks with them (like Buu), they could be serious business.

Just makes Vegeta's success over Goku's 'god' given technique all the more impressive.

He didn't even discover SS3 on his own. And what happens in their rematch when Goku doesn't use them?

In the manga, it was a one-way slaughter.

Vegeta's the only one who can cope with being overpowered (Cell, Super Buu, Kid Buu *both stalling and coming up with a plan*, etc) to any degree.

AT simply forgot about it.

Yet remembers Spirit Bomb.

The Goku story.

The Mystic transformation must be a bigger boost than SS3. Base Gohan and Gotenks both lost to Mr. Buu (with Gohan getting knocked out). SS3 Gotenks was able to barely edge out Super Buu, while Gohan dominated him (even after absorbing the defused Goten and Trunks).

He also needed to be at point blank.

And still missed. Good thing Vegeta's catching skills are impeccable (likely from playing ball with his son), otherwise Goku would have likely lost the Potaru earring (again).

>FF reference

For all I know, it is.  Just doesn't sound like it.

>point taken

>setting one up soon

Good show.  I'm sure Deeb (and others) would very much enjoy another opinion on his work.  Another vet while he waits for me to get back to business (filing his inbox with a flood of 'comments' notices).

>if you can afford it

Or you can murder Andrei.  Or run around the backway, but then that door doesn't open up from the backway from what I recall.  If you don't care about boss crap, crushing their souls works well towards such an investment.

>rather pointless

Yet most will do it anyway on their first playthrough when somebody tells them it will help.  I even warned him it would peter out quickly for lack of scaling well or upgrading well (and being expensive to bother with).

>don't like letting any stat cut damage significantly

Resistance could just have an earlier diminishing return cap.  Make it worth some investing for those that care, but don't want to wear or cast crap related to it.  Not a big deal.  We're not talking RES as physical damage resist after all.  That's where they've got a hard-on for giving you nothing even on armors by and large.  Heavier just isn't better.  Stronger ain't as grand as more sure-handed approaches ('better safe than sorry' being a mindset they favor, so that might explain the aversion to giving STR a break).

>scales with Luck

The degree of changes would allow a series of weapons of the sort.  One could just scale its crits by chance (something common in vidya already).

>scales with Resistance

Perhaps giving as good as you get?  If you're inflicted and hit something, they become afflicted with that same damage while it is on you?  Be it fire, bleed, poison/toxic (obvious), magic or electric.  Secondary Karmic Justice feature to make it automatic for high durability damage?  Another way to take this would be to make your resistance stats (overall) alter the low base damage of each type of affliction it can apply.  It would be a plain weapon, so for it to apply to fire, electric or magic, you would need to make it into a weapon that does those things.  Want one for each type?  Make them.

>cut of his jib

Naked is the way to be.  Be nimble and quick.

>never trust a hoodie

The Zim Zam knew this all too well.

>breakfast

It's sort of silly that the Brine doesn't kill Arisen though.  It's sort of helpful at times.  Maybe even exploitable.

>love playing as not-Dante

Nero proved that much.

>beat the Hybrids at something

Being a challenge?

>what Obamacare's for

I figured it was just for further weakneing the much reviled imperial activity of best country.  Foolishness, really.  There will always be another to take that torch.

>womanly

Hmmm, yes.

>they could be serious business

More so if they Ghosts could teleport around.  That would help.

>what happens

The streak continues.

>remembers spirit bomb

At the last possible moment, he brought back the attack with a 0-2 record.  Swell.

>Mr. Buu

For clarification, Fat Buu is "Majin Buu".  Mr. Buu is the 'Good Buu' leftovers that took a power dive.  Kid Buu is the original and Super Buu is the Evil Buu (weak) who absorbed Mr. Buu (weakest) to have most of the benefits of the Kais absorbed via being evil enough to not take a power dive.

>bigger boost

Far larger.  SS3 isn't the realization of all of your potential.  Mystic is that and taken a bit beyond if I remember right.  This without need for transformations and the strain that comes with them.

>Super Buu with trash

Not so tough, but smart enough to realize he needed to get on with the absorbing of worthy targets.  Goku wasn't it.

>Vegeta's catching skills honed with father-son quality time at the park

Precious.

Good show.

Got it up. Coke's at it again. He claims special properties like launch, knockback, projectile, etc, doesn't add anything to a combat system.

I'm sure Deeb (and others) would very much enjoy another opinion on his work.

He seems rather spirited.

Another vet while he waits for me to get back to business

"I'm a mistress?"-Michael Scott

Or you can murder Andrei.

Not to be done lightly. He's the easiest black smith to reach, and the only one who'll upgrade to 15+.

If you don't care about boss crap, crushing their souls works well towards such an investment.

I don't remember if the Gargoyles give you a soul or not.

I even warned him it would peter out quickly for lack of scaling well or upgrading well (and being expensive to bother with).

Upgraded Claymore makes it worthless almost immediately with a better moveset and damage.

That's where they've got a hard-on for giving you nothing even on armors by and large.

Weird for a JRPG (even an Action hybrid).

Heavier just isn't better.

Especially when it gimps the best ring in the game (DWGR).

so that might explain the aversion to giving STR a break

It'll be interesting to see how the dual wielding system works when mixing weapons of different speeds. If one weapon dictates the attack animation, you could conceivably use DEX weapons to land fast STR attacks.

One could just scale its crits by chance (something common in vidya already).

Hell, give it some ride along effect (like the Armor Breaker/Stun Blade/Wooden Sword) that's dictated by luck. Why not curse?

Secondary Karmic Justice feature to make it automatic for high durability damage?

Yes. Let it be affected by Stone/Power Within for colossal returns. RG style Riposte anyone?

Naked is the way to be.

Yet women strive to keep themselves covered with frills and what not.

It's sort of silly that the Brine doesn't kill Arisen though.

Not even the Seneschal is above its might.

Maybe even exploitable.

Rubikant liked it for warping around with the tablets.

Nero proved that much.

But he was 'necessary'. Dante's 'peaked'. Who would ever be satisfied with a larger, better moveset while polishing what worked and fixing what didn't? We need change (for its own sake). GoWII and NG2 are the worst games in their series, Ascension and NG3 are much better.

Being a challenge?

Be a Strider.

I figured it was just for further weakneing the much reviled imperial activity of best country.

What gives us the right to run the world other than the power to do so?

There will always be another to take that torch.

Canada?

More so if they Ghosts could teleport around.

Had Goku taught his sons IT, it would have happened.

At the last possible moment, he brought back the attack with a 0-2 record.

Ah, but this time he had Vegeta.

For clarification, Fat Buu is "Majin Buu". Mr. Buu is the 'Good Buu' leftovers that took a power dive.

Noted.

Goku wasn't it.

Had Vegeta been around, all would have been lost.

>saving Hercule over his sons

But if Gohan had been around, he wouldn't have gotten to use Spirit Bomb.

>X thing beyond mashing and 'dodging' doesn't add anything

So he's having a giggle.

>spirited

Such is youth.  Full of fire.

>mistress

Part of a harem, it would appear.  It's exactly like in my Chinese Cartoons.

>not to be done lightly

Quite.

>Gargoyles

I don't believe so.  Butterfly, Sif, Quelaag, 4 Kings, etc. do.  They're available from the start.  Getting to some of them can prove tricky for a new player though (beating them at the start is another matter).

>upgraded Claymore

I remember where Zwei is, but no Claymore.  I forget item placement easily as I care little about most of the gear.  Some are easier to remember than others.  With time, I'd learn it quickly enough (put into practice of gathering junk up).

>weird for JRPG

>even if a half-breed with Action

Perhaps that's the Berserk influence.  Armor as cloth.  Usually.  No "Berserk" armor in Dark Souls yet.  Artorias Armor certainly doesn't come with some Abyss curse to make it another Power Within to stack with other such buffs while murdering us or causing other unpleasant effects in exchange for holding us together and making a monster out of the player.  His weapon gives neat moves, but I would have liked the armor to at least have the option of a 'power up' that is effectively power within.  Can't be static and can't be activated, so it would seem like something you would put on his weapon or the shield (more likely the latter at the cost of durability, I guess).  Making it cause blindness and other lost senses might be a bit much (as no such system exists in the game otherwise *unlike Dragon's Dogma where that would fit well*).

Friendly fire on summons would be hilarious (living up to the Berserk aspect of things).  Combine that with not being able to see friendly summons in the right color.  All human players come up as red invaders.  Sun bros, summons, dick moon, actual invaders, etc.  All the same color.  Maybe make one's resistance to the life drain aspect scale with humanity kept on us.  Or perhaps it makes more sense to make the damage HIGHER while having more humanity on you (soft humanity, that is).  In Dark Souls, the Abyss is all about the dark soul, so would you say it is better the life drain be resisted by dark or made worse by it?

A static stat increase for STR by each piece (made more notable during the 'power-up') could help with lower levels wielding STR weapons.  One for the sword, one for lesser armor, two for the shield and two for the chest piece.  Combined with two-handed, you could get a fair amount of extra STR without needing all the SL investment, but that would heavily tip the STR using demographic towards just using the full set with a lower level character.  Balance is a troublesome consideration (especially with PvP in mind).  I don't know.  I just fancy having a proper Berserk armor (a more capable STR weapon with loads of knockback, knockdown, heavy stagger, good block stability, huge range, big damage, etc. is desired) and seeing STR get something to make it compete with DEX.

>gimps the ninja flips

Yep.

>two-handed with regards to DEX paired with STR

I expect STR to strongly weaken the combo.  DEX and DEX will prove best.  STR and STR will be gimmick tier most of the time.  DEX and Quality might be okay.  That's all just 'baseless' speculation though.

>why not curse

They very skiddish about allowing the armor breaking antics of DeS.  Curse was something they weren't about to allow to take its place due to the sissy casuals crying tears of blood before quitting it forever (and talking noise online whilst giving it terrible reviews).  It's a grand shame.  Would be lovely.  That stupid White Dragon Flame business would be fantastic if it did just a bit better damage than what you get with the Dragon Head Stone.  Something like that would surely need to have A scaling for INT.  Combine that with Curse build-up for added pressure on some builds?  Real f***ing neato.  Lacking an acid shot, acid pool, toxic explosion, toxic darts, curse crystal explosion, lava vomit, fire sorcery explosion (demon hammer two-hand secondary), poisonous blood (build-up of poison for being close to us as we bleed *more so for backstabs, ripostes and infliction of 'bleed'*), mini-Giant firebombs (creating lingering fire pools with stagger as seen at Sen's Fortress) and other such neat things is a real pity.  But mostly the lack of Curse hurts.

>affected by RTSR and PW

While at it, have Dusk's Crown make the magic damage higher still?  You remember the Karmic Justice build video, yes?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BXndOKbZN4

Old video was gone, but this suffices.

>women

Not Spartan women.

>warping around

My associate is impatient, so he would greatly prefer having the benefits of the original disc.  Basically, infinite ferry stone use if I remember right.  Just get some port crystals and you're golden.

>Nero was necessary

>Dante peaked

Excutives, pls.

>change for its own sake is best

>even if for the worst

Oh baby, you better believe it.

>be a Strider

I was one.  Saw a Drake while low level.  Ran like I had the wind behind me.  Twas no fine time to be doing an escort mission in uncharted territory.

>what gives us the right

Well, you see-

>other than power

Rugged good looks?

>Canada

HUE HUE HUE HUE.

>had Goku taught his sons things

So this was his plan...he was waiting for the day they would turn on him.  Clever devil.

>this time he had Vegeta

And Vegeta even told him it was the right call.  That and the dragonballs made all that crap work out.  Also, a 'god' played middle man...and Earth's 'champ'.

>if Gohan had been around

I'm sure AT would have just made him screw around and get absorbed by Kid Buu (forcing fusion).  That or eaten (without absorbing just to get rid of a problem while leaving Buu open to Goku's attempts at playing hero before he's told to just use Spirit Bomb against this one foe it is designed to actually kill).  Were it not for ATs bias, the drastic gap between Gohan and Kid Buu would just spell instant defeat for the latter.

So he's having a giggle.

Quite the joker. Reality warping doesn't help in battle apparently.

Full of fire.

Belongs in the oven.

Part of a harem, it would appear.

Beats being Chi Chi's son.

It's exactly like in my Chinese Cartoons.

That would explain the tentacles.

remember where Zwei is, but no Claymore.

It's on the Hellkite dragon's bridge.

>Artorias Armor

Let it halve our max HP or prevent recovery while it's on.

Making it cause blindness and other lost senses might be a bit much

Cripple stamina recovery?

Friendly fire on summons would be hilarious

Especially if it was two way and yielded souls.

Or perhaps it makes more sense to make the damage HIGHER while having more humanity on you

Punish us for healing (or the capacity to do so). This is glass cannon to the extreme.

In Dark Souls, the Abyss is all about the dark soul, so would you say it is better the life drain be resisted by dark or made worse by it?

The higher humanity, the worse it is on us.

A static stat increase for STR by each piece (made more notable during the 'power-up') could help with lower levels wielding STR weapons.

Break the main game once it's acquired. VIT gouging everywhere.

Balance is a troublesome consideration (especially with PvP in mind).

Wonder how the games would turn out without it. More exotic movesets, maybe.

I just fancy having a proper Berserk armor

Who doesn't?

a more capable STR weapon with loads of knockback, knockdown, heavy stagger, good block stability, huge range, big damage, etc. is desired

Why not the UF? Give it a built in Red Tearstone effect, and make it unenchantable to compensate. The secondary could be the baseball swing *homerun tier knockback*.

seeing STR get something to make it compete with DEX.

Even magic's getting more love these days.

DEX and DEX will prove best.

Dual spears. Groovy.

due to the sissy casuals crying tears of blood before quitting it forever

Kind of the point, isn't it?

and talking noise online whilst giving it terrible reviews

God forbid we backstab a female.

Lacking an acid shot, acid pool, toxic explosion, toxic darts, curse crystal explosion, lava vomit, fire sorcery explosion (demon hammer two-hand secondary), poisonous blood (build-up of poison for being close to us as we bleed *more so for backstabs, ripostes and infliction of 'bleed'*),

Pls, stahp. You're going to ruin DaS2.

But mostly the lack of Curse hurts.

Cursed blood would be so great though.

You remember the Karmic Justice build video, yes?

...why haven't I used this.

Not Spartan women.

They say we've made 'progress'?

Basically, infinite ferry stone use if I remember right.

Oh? I always bought them off Fournival.

>wind behind you

An Assassin would have.

Twas no fine time to be doing an escort mission in uncharted territory.

I imagine the Pawns were no great help either.

Rugged good looks?

We're only pretty on the outside, and that's what counts.

So this was his plan...he was waiting for the day they would turn on him.

So he could kill them off for good? No wonder he didn't fuse with Gohan.

Also, a 'god' played middle man...and Earth's 'champ'.

Or he could have fused with Vegeta while Mr. Buu was getting his head pounded in. Not Vegito tier, but if Goku could stall him, Gogeta should finish him without issue.

I'm sure AT would have just made him screw around and get absorbed by Kid Buu

Would Gohan really be dumb enough to risk defeat by absorption a third time?

>doesn't help in battle

>battle

There's his problem.  He thinks there would be a battle between a high level reality warper and some garbage.  To blink something out of existence is hardly a 'fight'.  It's like challenging Allah.  Folly.  Mortal sin.  Not a challenge, just damnation to be.  At best.

>explain the tentacles

They're not so bad once you get to know them.  They know the place of a woman.

>Hellkite Bridge

Ah, that's another easy spot.  I remember it now.  Just beyond his landing point, I believe.

>halve MAX HP

Like a curse.  Combine with Dusk's crown for another halving.  Hell, one might be stuck in RTSR with this stuff on.  However, I do wonder how workable this would be with regards to fall damage.  Likely you would just need to have 'Fall Control' (no such ring equivalent sadly) on to eliminate non-instant death fall damage.  Unless it made fall damage scale with the total you have in that state (rather than what your real life max is), you're not going to be taking shortcuts.  Block chip for less than 100% defenses would also get your murdered quickly, so I suppose it's 100% block or evade a bunch (if not deflecting shots or interrupting attacks *maybe get cover*).

>prevent recovery

That might be a bit much.  I'd rather have a dynamic like soft humanity count causing the drain to be faster.  Another attire for recovery prevention (as a mechanic) would be neat though.

>cripple stamina recovery

Berserk armor was more the sort of thing that dealt damage to the user, but protected, empowered and sort of weakned them overall (without it).  While using the suit, maybe the effects it is causing aren't so bad, but having used it and taken it off (or maybe even just a piece),you would notice the ill-effects clearly like some curse to be purged.  Stamina would be something you would have in spades with the suit on (more of it and faster recovery), but the idea of having the stamina bar draining (total) behind the scenes *to a point such as 'half' again* along with HP would suit me fine.  Though, getting something like a Purging Stone wouldn't be much of a problem for higher level players at all (much less getting loads of them).  Perhaps it would be better to force something a bit less covenient.  Healing by the clown in New Londo?  Lose that NPC and lose the option to be cured in a playthrough.  Maybe it isn't a cure, but just resets the process of the curse from the start.  Very slow drain while armor is off, made faster while on (just not noticed until it comes off), etc.  Wouldn't really want it to shatter upon managing to take it off though.  Ruins part of the dynamic.  A suit that behaves like the RoFaP would be cute though. Too many effects makes for clutter when compared to other things in the game.

>two-way friendly fire

Even while the others don't have the armor on themselves?  It would almost be funny to just make it one-way so if they want to hurt the host for deliberately being a dick (or just to hurt a host as a summon no matter what), they can put the cursed armor on (taking on a burden).  I'd want for the host to be unable to heal summons (as if they were invaders).

>punish for healing

But while making damage buff too?  Humanity for more damage modifier while making life drain worse (natural HP total drain not affected)?  Estus would merely stave off death a bit.  Miracles for constant healing, Sanctus, etc. would be of some use with an armor like this.  Maybe have the life drain subject to the effect of a certain ring used to make Power Within more viable (slowing the drain considerably). Not sure if the buff should be considered sorcery such that some other buffs would work on it (like Dusk's Crown *converting the magic curse into a physical damage buff*).  Thing could easily get out of hand.

>higher humanity count

>worsens the curse

Suits me.  Chaos Weapons, item find concerns, Curse resist, etc. would work against the gear.

>break the main game

Whoops.

>VIT

Got to have more VIT, baby.  END too, because got to go fast while having all of the poise.

>more exotic movesets

Certainly.

>who doesn't

Dragon's Dogma with their non-Berserk Armor Guts tribute.  Why wouldn't they push to get the good stuff put in the game?  Dragonslayer and Berserk Armor.  It's simple.  Chaps want the heavy artillery.  BBI was a great chance for putting in game shattering stuff.  This would be for the Warrior (nothing for the fighter here).  Give him all of the knockdown, knockback, stagger, tanking, launch, etc. in the world to go with the horrible afflictions the armor causes (especially when seperate from it or not fully using it).  Go Berserk on Pawns (intentionally), get some speed buffs, charge time decreases (for the super heavy techniques), etc.  Like their 'level 3' versions of things in the main game through the special chance drops of the DLC, it would be fine to have even higher versions of the Warrior techniques while making the normals more devestating (with an altered moveset for Dragonslayer maybe).  Flipping around like a mad Hellhound and cleaving large foes to pieces like fodder would make for an interesting experience.  Rather than knocking them in the air, away, etc. being special, it would become the norm.  High class foes like 'dragons' would suddenly be getting knocked around now and again (even Grigori and Ur-Dragon).  The 'Berserk' game has an amusing moveset for Guts and more so with the armor active as a 'rage'.  Ever see it? Anyway, guess it would be too much to ask for it to cleave enemies to pieces.  The game isn't built for that, so it wouldn't be a quick add.

>weapon with built-in RTSR

That level of damage modifier?  I wonder if it would stay active during bow shots and other such things.

>just can't enchant it

If it starts that way, you likely wouldn't need to be putting other crap on.  Granted, it would take away the constant miracle heal thing Princess types have.

>ruin DaS2

Needs more Bed of Chaos Firestorm, BoC back tentacles and 'summon ring-outs' (because why not?).

>magic getting love

No love for the manly men.  And they call themselves Berserk fans?  What are they, Griffith lovers?  Lolicon fans of Schierke?  Will DaS2 have lolis?  Our new witch will be a child that has a crush on us while also seeing us as a father figure?  Needs more troll rape.

>dual spears

Hmmm, yes.  Now we just need four arms. This said, dual shields with Bonewheels still need a special for rolling around at people.  That's what everyone really wants.  Spinning it ahead of you is cute (with buffs) though.  If you could put bleed and other status effects on the thing, it would mean a lot more.  The damage ain't much per hit, but it could add up with status and/or enchants doing their usual good work for multi-hit things (non-STR).  I wonder if fists and fist weapons will get better at all.  Then there are whips...

>Cursed Blood

"Now you're just being nasty." - Jack

NOTE: Rubikant got his game made apparently.  Volgarr the Viking is out and looks pretty good.

>why haven't you used this

You must have missed the early video (year or so ago).  I think either Mike or Afro showed it in the past.  Might have been the former.  Think he lost a bunch of video uploads.  Anyway, the general idea is to be a suicide bomber while praising Allah, aiming for X large amount of virgins, etc.  Low level, mid-level and high level (optimal) set-ups exist for the approach.  Some freedom of gear exists, but you really want to have certain pieces (Dusk Crown and some slightly less than 100% shield with a high Magic Adjust tool *apparently Pyrohand is a good call if you lack TCC or whatever it was called).  Need your enemy to hit you five times or so in rapid succession for it to work, but not for the damage to be entirely negated (or it doesn't count, I suppose).  RTSR effects the damage, but can be overkill to bother with.  I don't think PW applies.  The best part seems to be getting dumb enemies (especially gankers) to beat on your dying form to set off the blast just as we can continue to hit dying bosses (4 Kings is the best example for that being something worth noting).

Lots of neat builds and videos out there.

>progress

If you look at it in reverse.

>bought them from Fat Corrupt Man

Which is what we're doing.  Also, we're hitting on his daughter and nobody else.   Idea being to woe her and get better prices from him, but I already know it doesn't work that way.  It's just to give a bad man some more grief by involving his daughter in the affairs of the Arisen (the dragon).  The brat talked noise about how we couldn't slay it, so she'll be around to be proven wrong (or sacrificed for another ending).  I felt it was an appropriate way to punish him for being so expensive without saving his hide and otherwise sucking up.  An investment in the future (taking back what is ours).

>Assassin would have

Certainly.  Enough to run straight at the stupid wind that slows you at other places.

>no great help

The best assistance they can be is to not die.  I run well ahead of them and they teleport to catch up.  So long as they don't keep engaging everything, it works fine.  I hate dealing with these idiots.  I would never be going through this in a run done by myself for myself.

>pretty on the outside

>what counts

You bet.

>didn't fuse with Gohan

He also didn't want to go to school.  Having a living mother-wife would be too much for him.

>fused

Not without teaching the dance to Vegeta (getting him to agree to that is a tall order when he already opposes fusion). Really, there is no good reason they could just fuse and have Mr. Buu later undo it for them, but they couldn't plan for what they didn't know (that a Buu would be on their side in the future).  DBM is silly for contriving the permanent Vegetto universe while saving Mr. Buu (only to fail to have him be useful by solving his issue).  So long as Mr. Buu is not taken out of Super Buu, there should be no story issue for them being ignorant of a solution to the permanent fusion.

>Gogeta on Kid Buu

Overkill.  That's what it takes to really defeat Buu though.  Being equal just isn't good enough.

>would Gohan

Yes.  The answer is 'yes'.  Because AT would will it so.

To blink something out of existence is hardly a 'fight'.

More of a blessing.

They know the place of a woman.

Suspended in midair (scrubbing the ceiling)?

Just beyond his landing point, I believe.

Correct.

Hell, one might be stuck in RTSR with this stuff on.

Not entirely a bad thing.

Block chip for less than 100% defenses would also get your murdered quickly, so I suppose it's 100% block or evade a bunch

Riposte all day, erryday.

While using the suit, maybe the effects it is causing aren't so bad, but having used it and taken it off (or maybe even just a piece),you would notice the ill-effects clearly like some curse to be purged.

Like a lesser RoFaP effect.

Healing by the clown in New Londo?

How about Patches (charging you out the ass for it)?

Too many effects makes for clutter when compared to other things in the game.

They could spread them out throughout the different pieces. Body for damage, legs for stamina, gauntlets for STR, etc.

or just to hurt a host as a summon no matter what

DSP would love it.

Humanity for more damage modifier while making life drain worse (natural HP total drain not affected)?

Chaos upgrade to the extreme.

Not sure if the buff should be considered sorcery such that some other buffs would work on it

Maybe give the armor its own catalyst, with the buff as the secondary (consuming a charge of whatever spell you have equipped)?

END too, because got to go fast while having all of the poise.

How else would we fish for backstabs?

Why wouldn't they push to get the good stuff put in the game?

Capcom.

nothing for the fighter here

It's only fair. Fighter is unbalanced as is.

Go Berserk on Pawns (intentionally),

For even more power. I believe Dragon's Crown has some sort of Berserk that gets stronger as you kill enemies (while making you increasingly more fragile). It'd fit well.

Like their 'level 3' versions of things in the main game

Oh?

with an altered moveset for Dragonslayer maybe

A counter normal would be interesting.

High class foes like 'dragons' would suddenly be getting knocked around now and again (even Grigori and Ur-Dragon).

Show them GoW devs how a REAL cinematic fight is done.

Ever see it?

Can't say I have.

That level of damage modifier?

Alternatively, an Abyssmal Anguish like effect (absurd reach and extra hits) would work too.

Granted, it would take away the constant miracle heal thing Princess types have.

Who wants to be a princess anyway.

>because why not?

MP. And I want shapeshifting first.

No love for the manly men

If not in the land of the Moon, then where?

Will DaS2 have lolis?

Is their anything scarier to encounter in the dark?

Our new witch will be a child that has a crush on us while also seeing us as a father figure?

"Kill 'er yerself."-the dark soul to Kaathe

Needs more troll rape.

Only if they're both male.

That's what everyone really wants.

Carting. Lovely.

The damage ain't much per hit, but it could add up with status and/or enchants doing their usual good work for multi-hit things (non-STR).

But will it be enough to match Ascension's shield?

I wonder if fists and fist weapons will get better at all.

They got slightly better in DaS with the claws. Inb2nodualwieldfists

Then there are whips...

A whipsword would be a fine start.

"Now you're just being nasty." - Jack

No stamina cost, no whiffing attacks, you stand there and s*** dies.

Volgarr the Viking is out and looks pretty good.

Good show.

Dusk Crown and some slightly less than 100% shield

Grass Crest Shield sounds good.

to beat on your dying form to set off the blast

He who laughs last, laughs best.

If you look at it in reverse.

Like test scores?

Also, we're hitting on his daughter and nobody else.

So you'll end up with Mercedes, then?

Idea being to woe her and get better prices from him, but I already know it doesn't work that way.

The Idol is good compensation for your troubles.

The brat talked noise about how we couldn't slay it,

Where's a well when you need one.

so she'll be around to be proven wrong

Always the gentleman.

He also didn't want to go to school.

What did he think Buu was going to do?

Having a living mother-wife

>mother-wife

"By the gods, could this be real?"-Kratos

getting him to agree to that is a tall order when he already opposes fusion

Perhaps a better course of action would be to get Buu to absorb Goku, after which Vegeta could do what he does best.

Really, there is no good reason they could just fuse and have Mr. Buu later undo it for them,

Too true.

Being equal just isn't good enough.

If you start out equal, you soon won't be.

>blessing

Is there really any question?

>not entirely bad

Unless you want to take fall damage based short cuts.

>riposte

The parry.  For what it works on properly anyway.

>lesser RoFaP

Rather than destroy itself, it destroys you.

>Patches

The idea of him healing us seems a bit much.  The issue would be that he comes to Firelink eventually.  I was trying to avoid this type of NPC.  That creep from Carim (Pardoner) would be my second choice.  People that you don't really warp straight to.  Would be amusing if the cost were something other than 'souls.  Trade like with Snuggly.  Not really sure how I could justify having the NPC ask for a Firekeeper Soul unless you could somehow not kill Lautrec (be on friendly terms) and he suddenly learned curse breaking.  Blessed Bastard.

>spread among pieces

That helps.

>DSP would love it

You know it.

>to the extreme

Knowing the devs, it would cap at 10 humanity with only a bit of a boost.  The drain wouldn't cap (to be annoying).

>own catalyst

Seems more like it needs a passive, but an active should be done with a shield/sword secondary that eats durability.  Though some trinket (d-pad down) could also be part of the set.

>Dragon's Crown Berserk

I thought it was just for rapidly attacking you kept getting faster and stronger.  Might also weaken defense.  Not sure.  Seems like it should start allowing friendly fire (as I didn't see this in the game *with damage dealt anyway*).

>Oh?

BBI (the self-contained area from DLC or DD:DA) has rings and such that allow 'beyond lvl2' versions of abilities.

Heavy input?

>who wants to be a princess

People that lie to themselves to feel better about serving a Mammary Monster illusion.

>anything scarier to encounter

Traps and reverse traps randomly changing their gender by clothing to throw you off your game?

>WW Shield

I don't know about all that.  It mostly benefited from them forgetting it existed.  They verly clearly would not have let it remain that strong for rage building, stun building and damange without just overlooking it testing.

>whipsword

Ivy.  Ringswords too?

>end up with Mercedes

She-goat?  No, we messed with her with the Cloudwine because we had the stuff.  The little red dress wearing noble daughter that gloats with her poor running skills.

>the Gold Idol

Already got it.  Now I want his daughter.  My price for helping him went up.  When it is all said and done, I will discard her and dispatch him.

>what was Buu going to do

Take him to school.

>could this be real

And Goku would shutter in his cold sweat fit.

>Buu absorbs Goku

GG.  Vegeta wins.  Buu just gained a crippling weakness.

Coke spammed posts to lock the topic before declaring victory and blocking me. Said a lot of stuff that got moderated.

KH1 HD came out recently. Osaka (the KH3 team) was in charge, and they broke it. They wanted to add a Lv 1 mode to match KH2's. The latter was sort of designed around low level runs (as you get most of your abilities from fights, not leveling, and there's a damage floor). KH1 wasn't, and you lack many offensive/defensive options *can't even see enemy HP*. So in addition to stopping you from leveling, the EXP 0 ability reduces the damage you take (many bosses can't two shot you) and there's a 'correction' modifier, which increases the power of certain attacks. Finishers get a x2 boost, but you can glitch it so it applies to other attacks. The result is killing endgame bosses in 20 seconds at Lv. 1 from a distance. Oh, and you can equip and re-equip EXP 0 whenever you want, so you can use it in regular runs too.

A mercy.

Done for the sake of sinners, so none may doubt the grace and glory of Allah.

Is there really any question?

A rhetorical one.

Unless you want to take fall damage based short cuts.

True. You need something soft to land (plunge) on.

Rather than destroy itself, it destroys you.

Weight Watchers, pls. Do keep up.

The issue would be that he comes to Firelink eventually.

Drat.

Would be amusing if the cost were something other than 'souls

Fully upgraded weapons?

Not really sure how I could justify having the NPC ask for a Firekeeper Soul

A boss soul, maybe?

I thought it was just for rapidly attacking you kept getting faster and stronger.

Probably.

BBI (the self-contained area from DLC or DD:DA) has rings and such that allow 'beyond lvl2' versions of abilities.

Do they boost all abilities, or just specific ones?

Heavy input?

Yes. Not like the regular one's good for much.

People that lie to themselves to feel better about serving a Mammary Monster illusion.

There's better things to devote oneself to. Like the Sun.

Traps and reverse traps randomly changing their gender by clothing to throw you off your game?

Little girls and pants are scary enough on their own.

They verly clearly would not have let it remain that strong for rage building, stun building and damange without just overlooking it testing.

Odd how the blades' triangle hit is so much stronger than the rest. Surprised they haven't patched it out yet.

Ivy. Ringswords too?

We talking Soul Calibur?

No, we messed with her with the Cloudwine because we had the stuff.

>because we had the stuff

There are other reasons to interact with women?

The little red dress wearing noble daughter that gloats with her poor running skills.

We'll see how well she runs with a dragon at her back.

When it is all said and done, I will discard her and dispatch him.

Think Gregory will take two sacrifices?

And Goku would shutter in his cold sweat fit.

Vegeta's good, but I don't know how much better he'd do in such a situation.

Did he make it worse with post counts towards 500?

>declaring victory

>blocking

Pick one.  Only one.

>said a lot of moddable things

How clever.  Seems you've fallen right into his trap.  Clearly you're outmatched with this one.

>KH1 HD

The one DSP is playing now, I presume.  I'm sure you would be properly disgusted at his play based on your knowledge of higher level tactics (and execution).

>they broke it

Oh, boy.

>damage floor

How kind.

>KH1 wasn't designed for X

>add X

Sounds like a good time.

>can't see enemy HP

*glares at GoW*

>reduces damage taken

>increases damage you deal

...Where's the challenge?

>glitch it

Here we go.

>killing end game boss in 20 seconds

>lvl1

As compared to what for a MAX character?  Would that mean a lvl2 character would be harder for dodging all the perks?

>EXP 0 can just be used willy nilly to mock the game whenever

"Bravo!  Bravo!  I never dreamed it would go so smoothly!" - Jester the Bester

>something soft

Like the heads of casuals.

>fully upgraded weapons

That would be pretty contrived.  A reason for this could be worked up though.  Maybe he requires boss weapons.  Collector of unique things (not necessarily 'good' things).

>boss soul

So you came to a similar conclusion, I see.

>all abilities or just one

Pretty sure it's just one for a given ring regarding the 'even further beyond' (lvl3) cases.  There are rings with strong boosts to various stats that are multiple at a time.  Also, rings that have unique properties.  I imagine the wikis note a lot of that stuff by now.  I'll have to look over some of the 'goods' (that I'll never get because chance crops are bulls***).

>not like the regular one is good for much

I wouldn't know that for all cases.  I liked the air use for Fighter.  I don't remember the ground use being anything special.  Dagger heavies seem like garbage.  I don't remember what Warrior and Mystic Knight do.  Mage has his slap (cute) and Sorceror has a hand blast (swell) aside from the 'orbs' (not all they could be) *mage too*.  Unarmed has a kick aside from the air use being a double axe-handle (lovely).

>like the Sun

Or better still, punishing the guilty.  Not for some Moon loving hermaphrodite, but for glorious crow lady.  A god that didn't give up on Lordran (or her task).  Gods, mortals and monsters.  They all pay the price.  Killing the deceiving little wimp in his cradle seems appropriate when he's of no further value.  Then it's time to spread the good word of Allah.  (Karmic) Justice for all.  These deity pretenders and heretics better recognize.

That bit of fun aside, there would be Gravelords for if you like doing absolutely nothing (in New Game).  Pointless.  In NG+, you don't get to see what your phantoms are doing, which is a huge knock against it.  When they invade the GL servant, enemies are not only against the GL, but there aren't any BPs around (to serve him).  It's a travesty.  Also, we don't really get to learn enough about the Lord Soul of Death's power (Necromancy).  Pinwheel and his students learned how to sap Nito's strength (that Lord Soul) to weaken him and empower themselves.  They had some neat tricks. Teleport, cast fire (from lantern), control of Skeletons (I don't recall Undead Rapport working on them...they're not really 'undead' by the game's definition) and keeping those minions coming back (so long as divine toys don't off them).  A necromancer with some BP 'skeleton dogs', wheel skeletons, etc. would be swell.  Being that bastard with those at your heel when some punk uses your summon sign (you cursed his world)?  "That's the real treasure." - Patches

>pants wearing little girls

It doesn't have to be all bad.  Though it can easily go South as with the 'twins' of Black Lagoon.  Tomboys of anime don't tend to be so horrid.  Those two are just a bit 'off'.  Must have been all that child rape, forced murded, etc. they went through.  Left them feeling a bit put out with other people.

>Soul Calibur

That is correct.

>other reasons

Than to mess with them? Not to my knowledge.  Perhaps if they would make me a sandwhich to consume for buffs, I'd consider seriously giving them my Arisen's Bond (or whatever).  A man's got to eat.

>see how well she runs with dragon fire at her heel

And goblins aplenty.  A lesson dearly learned, little one.

>Gregori will take

He'll be taking the business end of my fist if he's got any lip to share.  A dragon has no need of such fleshy things, so he best not get too cheeky lest it be a whoopan he's a wantin'.  On the matter of 'fist' based murder, seen anything of "One Punch Man" yet?  New chapter still isn't out, but it's amusing stuff.

>how much better

If he were fused with Trunks?  I don't know that the mother-wife thing would be a problem (in Vegeta's mind).  First, we talking young Trunks (from that time) or end of Z Trunks?

I've already forgotten who that is.

It's better that way.

Did he make it worse with post counts towards 500?

The mods certainly thought so.

Seems you've fallen right into his trap.

He said the same thing when I corrected one of his spelling mistakes. Him and skips must be in cahoots.

The one DSP is playing now, I presume.

Yep.

I'm sure you would be properly disgusted at his play based

I'm not very familiar with KH1 (yet). Mostly 2. Though I hear great things about Stop.

on your knowledge of higher level tactics (and execution).

Not too keen on offensive magic, I bet.

How kind.

It was a great call. If you're under the enemy's defense threshold (which is likely without powerlevelling), you deal the same amount of damage, regardless of stats, and the floor is different for every enemy (you deal more damage to late game bosses than earlier ones *aside from upgraded abilities*). For the postgame bosses, the STR/MAG threshold is 60 (at Lv 99, you'll be in the 70's with equipment) and caps at 80 (going higher makes no difference) for triple damage.

So stats don't make a huge difference for most of the main game, (a boon for Action fans).

Sounds like a good time.

I'm going to do terrible, terrible things to the game.

...Where's the challenge?

They had to give us something. KH1 isn't built around timed defenses like KH2; you're assumed to tank some hits and heal up. You have Guard (which is more like a DMC3 weapon clash), glide, a high jump, the roll (which doesn't have I-frames, but doesn't really need them), the wind barrier (halved damage+collisions *which EXP 0 also f**** up*), invincible Limits, and heal. It would have been better had they given us the evades right away. As it stands, we get Glide and High Jump late and don't get Guard at all. If you couldn't survive hits, early-midgame would have been incredibly frustrating.

KH2FM+ doesn't play this. EXP 0 is only available on Critical Mode (Very Hard). Critical Mode increases your damage by 25% and you start the game off with some extra abilities and AP, but you gain 3/4's the EXP and your HP/MP gains are halved, so you end up with half your normal HP and 6/7's your MP. This is on top double damage compared to normal. You kill fast and die fast.

The big thing Lv. 1 changes is survivability. Most bosses take 3-5 minutes (without abusing the most OP abilities). Some post game take a bit longer. It IS possible to tank some hits at Lv. 1 with a late game armor that reduces all damage by a flat percentage and stacks, and there are caps to how much damage enemy attacks can deal, but this cuts into your damage potential. Generally, you take a hit at Lv. 1 past the first world, you're dead or dying, and it's your fault. Lv 1 also takes away the safety nets of Second Chance and Once More. The former prevents you from dying if you're hit with more than one HP (instead reducing you to 1 HP), like Bayonetta. The latter is staggered Sora can't die. It could get absurd: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3Uj7v2g3iQ&t=5s

As compared to what for a MAX character?

Probably 40-90 seconds, depending on the boss.

EXP 0 can just be used willy nilly to mock the game whenever

It does not inspire confidence in their abilities.

Like the heads of casuals.

Finally, a use for summons.

A reason for this could be worked up though.

The man likes his shinies.

Pretty sure it's just one for a given ring regarding the 'even further beyond' (lvl3) cases.

Multiple skills on one ring would have been too far.

There are rings with strong boosts to various stats that are multiple at a time.

Should narrow the gap for classes with weak weapons (MA, Mage, Fighter, etc).

I don't remember the ground use being anything special.

Never used it. Dire Onslaught was 2good.

I don't remember what Warrior and Mystic Knight do.

Warrior's air is multi-hit Helm Breaker. Pretty good for Ogres. MK's are the same as fighters.

Sorceror has a hand blast

"Good, good."-Palpy

Not for some Moon loving hermaphrodite, but for glorious crow lady.

She got a covenant?

Pointless.

I expect double strength GLing in DaS2 NG to make up for it.

It's a travesty.

They could have at least let Grave Lords call Grave Lords.

Also, we don't really get to learn enough about the Lord Soul of Death's power (Necromancy).

Needs to be another magic category. Badly. Super offensive Sorcery with an emphasis on statuses and summons. Blood magic too.

Pinwheel and his students learned how to sap Nito's strength (that Lord Soul) to weaken him and empower themselves.

Nito seemed to be lacking some bite.

A necromancer with some BP 'skeleton dogs', wheel skeletons, etc. would be swell.

Wonder if S&O are dog people.

Being that bastard with those at your heel when some punk uses your summon sign (you cursed his world)?

In Tomb of Giants, where your Skeletons can see, and they can't?

Tomboys of anime don't tend to be so horrid.

When they're not actual boys, no.

Left them feeling a bit put out with other people.

Could be worse. They could be Korra, who is quickly approaching Goku status. Losing a direct fight in the Avatar State. Shamefur.

That is correct.

HELL YEAH. Bonus points if we get her special grabs with the rings disassembling and attacking.

Perhaps if they would make me a sandwhich to consume for buffs, I'd consider seriously giving them my Arisen's Bond (or whatever).

But what of Julian's magnificent hair?

A man's got to eat.

They expect us to carry things ourselves? Being a pack mule is degrading.

A lesson dearly learned, little one.

Fight off the goblins, and she'll be safe for a day. Let her run away herself, and you'll never have to worry about her again.

whoopan he's a wantin'

Dragon's and their S&M.

On the matter of 'fist' based murder, seen anything of "One Punch Man" yet?

No, but the name sounds familiar.

First, we talking young Trunks (from that time) or end of Z Trunks?

End of Z. Have to be fair.

Not sure why the code is messed up for that post.  I'll copy/paste to Word and back.

Saw 'Clash of Gods'.   Lots of issues.

First, why was Frieza benchmark of note to one who's apparently far beyond SS3?  Wouldn't Buu make more sense?

Goku is apparently visiting King Kai (for no real reason) on his planet (didn't that blow up and never come back?.  His living body used SS3.  Of course that went well.  Lost in two hits.  This being the same guy who couldn't overcome Kid Buu (and wouldn't challenge Super Buu).  Super Buu who SS3 Gotenks edged out on and Mystic Gohan utterly stomps.

This what-if is before Pan's birth, but still keeps Mystic Gohan (just makes him a joke like in the Hildegarn movie).  Didn't go full GT in this regard, you could say.  Anyway, I'd say any Buu could beat Bills by turning him to candy or absorbing him.  Super Buu should really be on his level or higher.  Certainly Buutenks/Buuhan would exceed what this clown is capable of.  But seriously, Mystic Gohan should have stomped a mudhole in Bills.

So what's the deal with a suddenly made-up deity (a bunch of them) that nobody mentioned, but everybody knew...that is apparently well beyond Buu.  Think Frieza wouldn't keep Bills in mind?  No Saiyan would note him?  As a frame of reference, Vegeta would never be able to forget a power like that while he was growing up.  It wouldn't have gone unmentioned.  King Kai?  Same story.  Supreme Kai?  Same s***.  Why didn't he save his fellow Kai and kill Buu?  Why didn't his apparent superiors do it?  Because NON-CANON retcon.

So there's talk of how a 'god' can't be sensed.  They have ki.  AT, pls.  Were this so, IT wouldn't work.  Spoiler.  It worked as I predicted it would.  And if 'ki' does nothing, he wouldn't have to defend against it.  What's that he's firing?  Oh, it's ki.  Because gods use ki too.  Senile old author.  And Bills can't even teleport for being such a hot shot.  Kid Buu learned it right away.  Bills saw it.  Why didn't he learn it if he's so great?  Anyway, only robots/androids and cyborgs fail to emit ki.  They're not natural.  Even magical beings like Buu have it.

Liked how Goku was shown skipping out on friends/family again to go train.  He was scared of the idea of Bulma showing up (in Otherworld) to go get him to attend.  About as in-character as Goku gets.  So the story claims Bills is not only known, but he was the one who blew up some old version of King Kai's planet.  Why?  Lost at hide-and-seek.  The intro of this character was him oversleeping like a little kid going to school in Chinese Cartoons...and falling out of 'bed' Looney Tunes style (walking on nothing, realizing it and falling).  This besides throwing a fit about not getting to have pudding and other childish crap.  He's made a gag of.  Not even a villain.  Nobody really treats him seriously as a genocidal maniac like they should.  It's jarring.

Goku claims he defeated Frieza.  Yeah, not in this timeline, buddy.  This is like Vegeta taking the blame for Nappa (but the reverse of being honorable).   Bulma calls the Saiyan Armor she made for Vegeta his 'training uniform'...when he has never used that to train in at home.  Ever.  RoSaT was long ago.  He abandoned the stuff by the time Buu Saga happened.  This is after that.  Vegeta is completely out of character.  They've got him freaking out over this guy.  Singing and dancing to keep him calm.  And then Pilaf and company show up.  They're kids.  They used the dragon to wish for youth (rather than immortality). That's like him (to be so dumb).  Mai (41) flirts with Trunks, then holds him hostage only to be shown how fruitless guns/swords are these days and ends up on a sort of dating scene with the young boy.  They mistake Goten for Goku and begin to recognize Bulma as her younger self...is it possible they don't know the Briefs family own Capsule Corp (richest people on the planet in this show)?  Nonsense.

The movie is talking about half-breeds as if they're inferior to full-bloods.  Good God.  Gohan did a bunch of crotch thrusts at young Mai during his Saiyaman posing.  His stupid deflections got Videl shot.  The damage of this should have been no more than a bruise to her as her power level should be around Kid Goku (beginning of Dragonball) levels if I recall right.  Dende had to heal her leg.  So dumb.

As before, SS3 Goku got two shot.  Mr. Buu got two shot (though weaker than SS3 Goku by a lot).  Mystic Gohan (far stronger than Super Buu who is far above Goku) got two shot.  Did I mention that Buu wasn't recognized AT ALL by Bills?  Unbelievable.  Anway, SS Gotenks (didn't even go SS3) got spanked into base form (at SS3 Goku's level easily).  A bunch of people jump Bills at once (this doesn't happen in DBZ).  18, Tien, Piccolo and Krillin if I recall right.  Each taken out like the nothings they are.  Why would they even think to attack a guy that just beat down a high SS2 tier (Mr. Buu)?  SS1 Vegeta attacks him.  It took several hits to knock him down.  Bulma got slapped down (after slapping Bills *better thank Goku*).  Vegeta gets mad ("MUH BULMA MOTHAF***A!"), goes SS2 and lands a series of blows on Bills after tanking a punch.  Everybody (even Goku) notes he surpassed Goku in that moment.  I'm filled with disgust.

To review: Bills > SS2 Vegeta > SS1 Vegeta > SS3 Goku > Mystic Gohan > Mr. Buu > SS Gotenks > Bulma > Picollo > Tien > Krillin > 18.  That's according to DBZ:CoG so far.  Goku shows up and everybody feels like they have hope that he'll make a difference after we establish the noted.  People keep saying Bills is the "world's strongest".  As in just Earth?  Is he from here?  They said that on King Kai's planet (keep calling it a star) too.  Terrible.  So they summon Shenron to ask him about Super Saiyan God (because Bills won't shut up about wanting to fight this thing he dreamed about).  Why would he know?  He's limited to what his creator knows/can do.  Even if this was the one by Kami, it would know nothing.  This one is made by Dende.  Gohan is older than this dragon and will know more too.  Despite this, the dragon not only knows about SSG, it knows how to make one (six 'good' somewhat-saiyans hold hands to power-up one Saiyan into a 'god').  Also, it knew Bills too (scared of him though even King Piccolo was able to kill this weak ass beast).

NOTE: The SSG of the past looked like Vegeta.  Oh, and Piccolo said Trunks wasn't pure hearted due to his having a girlfriend so young (Mai).  And Videl's quasi-Saiyan unborn?  That works too.  She gets to feel important.  First Goku holding Vegeta's hand and now Videl holding Vegeta's hand too.  HAND HOLDING.  How impure.  Luckily, Vegeta wears gloves.

So SSG is as we've been over before.  Smaller/leaner, red-hair (normal hair style of the fighter) and red iris (visible pupils).  Golden-Red aura.  Worse than SS4 in every way.  All the fights are terrible.  It's said that Goku absorbs/learns how to retain 'godhood' without SSG form, so he doesn't lose power as SS1 and beyond (only goes to SS2).  This gives him an absurd base power raise (by implication).  Then he goes back into SSG anyway for another boost (I guess).  Bills talks about how a Saiyan with pride is rare.  Goku tells him he is dumb (cites Vegeta).  Also, 'smoke in space'.  Goku got a power-up from thinking about the destruction of friends/family.  As if he cares.

NOTE: Frankly, buttmad SS2 Vegeta in 'muh bulma' mode did better than SSG SSG Goku.  So there's that.

Anyway, Goku goes on to repeat the obvious with how Vegeta was stronger than him (teasing).  Notes he'll have to tell villains to slap Bulma in the future (in front of Bulma *on her birthday...at her party*).  She slaps him.  Vegeta orders her to slap him more.  She does.  The end.  So, at least the ending was okay.

---

>better that way

I suppose so.

>mods thought so

They think many things.  Not necessarily all true.

>in cahoots

Brilliant ruseman, those two.

NOTE: LobosJr has a few interesting runs to watch on his Twitch.  To list his work:

http://www.twitch.tv/lobosjr/profile

He lists completed runs on the right side along with stuff in progress and speedrun records (and so on).  This besides instruction stuff as with a DEX focused demonstration (with his usual emphasis on speed, I believe).  Lots of neat runs he could do still.  Heavy, Super Heavy, Lore, All Gear (two and a half runs), Always Gravelorded (defeat all BPs being the objective), Status focused (Bleed, Poison and Toxic), Specific NPC or theme (Velka stuff, Lautrec, etc.), etc.

>Yep

Final Mix, then.  That's the one with these hilarious oversights you speak of.

>not very familiar

Won't be super different from KH2, I imagine.  Different in notable ways, sure, but not world's apart.

>great things about Stop

A spell?

>stats matter little

RPG fans hate this.  Action fans love it.

>terrible things

No lube, no reach-around run.

>expected to take hit

Half surprised they didn't try to resolve that with regenerating HP.

>like Bayonetta

Lovely.

>should narrow the gap

The rich just get richer, old friend. That's what I suspect we'll find to be the case.

>multi-hit air heavy

Sounds nice.

>MK same as Fighter

...

>Palpy

That high Fulmination should have allowed sustained Force Lightning for UNLIMITED POWER.

>got a covenant

Pretty sure lore says her and Gwyndolin run the Dark Moon club.  A lot of the things to do with her and god slaying are locked away in Painted Word.  The crow may well be her though.  The Harpies are just followers of her.  No way to get their wings, bird head, bird legs, etc.  Punishing the guilty is what pleases her.  Murdering loads of guilty people is the way to go.  Though I don't believe she believes in pre-empting evil deeds.  They have to happen before she's about all that.  So Lautrec needs to be invaded in Anor Londo, Patches has to be confirmed to have either killed you (not tried to) or others (Tomb of Giants), Petrus must murder Rhea, etc.  The Guilty pay the Price.

>call Gravelords

Or see what NG+ and beyond lads are up to.  Go to the tomb and watch some fights or cursed worlds.  Would be swell.  Maybe 'invade' as a spectre that cannot interact (only watch).

>Statuses and Summons

Suits me.  Pinwheel suggests 'splitting' to make clones that can attack as we can, but are dispelled easily in one hit.  A 'great' version would have a tiny portion of our HP.  Maybe balance it with the clones dealing less damage ('great' clones being closer to our abilities).  This besides the AI being garbage as usual.  Clones are to be just like you in terms of what you were wearing when they get made.  A great player would be able to switch between sets and even start them with buffs and such.  Get one in full Havels (including ring) with heavy weapons, another that is light (ninja flips) with DEX stuff, another with sorcery, another with pyro, another with miracles (your attunement would need to be high with lots of stuff selected that they can use and some weapon as a back-up so they can fall back on something when out of casts), dragon form, etc.  You are team gank.  Obviously a low clone heavy would be all too easy to destroy (too slow and no HP).  A 'great' clone would mean more in its case (defense against blows).

But yeah, we've been over summoning, taking over monsters, inflicting status (in even more ways), etc.

>dog people

If they prefer, we could summon (as a Druid) forest Cats to SANIC all over them.  I'm sure they would love it.  Maybe bring some Mushroom Dads along.  Show them what real, ultimate power is.

>Tomb of Giants

BPs sort of stand out there, I believe.  The increased aggro doesn't really overcome the fact that they're easy to spot.

>not actually boys

Wouldn't be a tomboy in that case. That's just a trap acting like a tomboy to be more confusing.  A tomboy as a reverse trap is somewhat typical though.

>Korra

Ah, yes.  That came back.  She's quite the disgrace.

>Julian

He need only remember to whisper sweet, cutting/scathing words about people at their lowest point in life.

>degrading

Thus, perfect for pawns.  A consumable item for teleporting your trash to the deposit (or accessing it) would be cutesy.

>dragon bottoms

Lots of those in Dark Souls.  Especially in Lost Izalith.

>familiar

The name pretty well tells what it is about.  Weak guy trained in a normal way and somehow became stupidly strong.  Nobody respects or recognizes him (one exception is a guy recognized and respected *who bothers MC as a student*).  He just one-shots anyway and he is bored to death by fights now.

>End of Z

Bulma will be quite old by that point.  Nearly 50.  Vegeta's still older (slightly).  Trunks would balance out their age to make their form younger than Bulma (who was talking about using a wish for youth anyway).  Bulma already demonstrated that she could find Trunks attractive (and fancied Vegeta to begin with).  She isn't picky though.  She's a whore.  The Vegeta half would be fine in all this.  As a mother, she would be disregarded though.  Trunks, at that age, would be more put out about the arrangement on the 'husband' front.  As a son, it wouldn't be an issue.  Technically, they're a new person.  With their combined age, they are beyond school.  Trunks was already at about the end of high school.  College isn't really necessary in their world. Not when you're brilliant from the start. He can run the business, but really...living as a NEET is more likely for the fusion.  Considering hentai, Trunks should get onboard quickly.  Gohan's appetites might be enough to make up for Goku's lack of interest (regarding their fusion).

Saw 'Clash of Gods'.

That just come out? Someone made a topic on the KH3 board about wanting Bill.

First, why was Frieza benchmark of note to one who's apparently far beyond SS3?

They were former lovers?

Wouldn't Buu make more sense?

Far more. Aside from the power difference, candy beam, absorption, and regeneration are a hard combination to overcome.

Goku is apparently visiting King Kai (for no real reason)

Did King Kai recently inherit a money?

Of course that went well.

Got to keep that perfect record.

This being the same guy who couldn't overcome Kid Buu

"I could have beat him, I-I just wanted to give you a chance to fight."-Goku

Super Buu who SS3 Gotenks edged out on and Mystic Gohan utterly stomps.

Vegeta didn't think twice about assaulting Buuhan.

Didn't go full GT in this regard, you could say.

Toryiama's only mercy.

Anyway, I'd say any Buu could beat Bills by turning him to candy or absorbing him.

No way in Hell he's above Vegito. Who is conveniently absent.

So what's the deal with a suddenly made-up deity (a bunch of them)

Is he a kai?

that is apparently well beyond Buu.

And he didn't try to stop him?

Think Frieza wouldn't keep Bills in mind?

Wouldn't waste his time worrying about blonde monkeys.

As a frame of reference, Vegeta would never be able to forget a power like that while he was growing up.

He would have trained his whole life to best him and done so.

Why didn't he save his fellow Kai and kill Buu?

How couldn't he have pulled out the Z Sword?

Why didn't his apparent superiors do it?

He has superiors?

So there's talk of how a 'god' can't be sensed.

How did Goku IT to King Kai then? He sensed Bubbles?

It worked as I predicted it would.

"What a gaffe."

And Bills can't even teleport for being such a hot shot.

Why not grab him and IT to the most distant planet in the galaxy?

Liked how Goku was shown skipping out on friends/family again to go train.

I can only imagine the hardship of collecting child support from him.

About as in-character as Goku gets.

That's so we know it's canon.

Lost at hide-and-seek.

Pitiful. Super Buu would have collapsed reality.

walking on nothing, realizing it and falling

But...he can fly.

This besides throwing a fit about not getting to have pudding and other childish crap.

We've already had a (better) villain like this.

Nobody really treats him seriously as a genocidal maniac like they should.

Not even Vegeta?

Goku claims he defeated Frieza.

That was the spawn of Vegeta saving the future for the first time.

when he has never used that to train in at home.

Why would he?

Vegeta is completely out of character.

Yet Goku's spot on. Spiteful old man.

They used the dragon to wish for youth (rather than immortality).

So they just want to be kids again?

ends up on a sort of dating scene with the young boy.

Goten is that way -->.

The movie is talking about half-breeds as if they're inferior to full-bloods.

Because the full-bloods accomplished so much more against Buu and Cell.

Gohan did a bunch of crotch thrusts at young Mai during his Saiyaman posing.

DBZ is so edgy and mature now.

The damage of this should have been no more than a bruise to her as her power level should be around Kid Goku (beginning of Dragonball) levels if I recall right.

But she can contribute to the SSG ritual.

>Buu

>beaten with physical blows

Narly.

Mystic Gohan (far stronger than Super Buu who is far above Goku) got two shot.

Surely, this must be a ruse to save Goku face.

Did I mention that Buu wasn't recognized AT ALL by Bills?

He was only the most threatening force in the universe.

Anway, SS Gotenks (didn't even go SS3) got spanked into base form (at SS3 Goku's level easily).

Literally?

It took several hits to knock him down. Bulma got slapped down (after slapping Bills *better thank Goku*). Vegeta gets mad ("MUH BULMA MOTHAF***A!"), goes SS2 and lands a series of blows on Bills after tanking a punch.

Had Goku taught him SS3, they might have avoided the rest of the movie.

>Krillin

>above 18

That's sexist.

Goku shows up and everybody feels like they have hope that he'll make a difference after we establish the noted.

After agreeing Vegeta accomplished more with a lower power state. LOGICKS.

As in just Earth?

So the other Kais could take him?

keep calling it a star

This is SW prequel tier.

Despite this, the dragon not only knows about SSG, it knows how to make one

Or they could fuse into Gogeta. Just Saiyan.

scared of him though even King Piccolo was able to kill this weak ass beast

So King Piccolo>Bills>Mystic Gohan?

Oh, and Piccolo said Trunks wasn't pure hearted due to his having a girlfriend so young (Mai).

Is that to say Muhammad isn't pure hearted?

HAND HOLDING.

2lewd4me

Worse than SS4 in every way.

He should have quit making up transformations after SS1.

Goku tells him he is dumb (cites Vegeta).

The highlight of his career.

As if he cares.

Of course he does. If they die, how can he hide from them in the Otherworld?

in front of Bulma *on her birthday...at her party*

How many Birthdays did Goku throw for Chi Chi again?

Vegeta orders her to slap him more.

I'm surprised he didn't show her how to do it properly.

I suppose so.

He started up again in another topic (on the same board, with pretty much the same topic). He does seem to have blocked me.

Not necessarily all true.

But 'too negative' is a ToU violation.

>LobosJr

Fascinating. He do claws/fists yet? I really need to look into him. Almost finished CH 4 of Master Ninja. Weapons are twice as expensive to upgrade. CH 2 was rough before getting Lv 2 Claws (allowing FS>ID). Makes IS ninjas MUCH easier.

That's the one with these hilarious oversights you speak of.

Correct. The oversights are a product of the HD version; the original Final Mix didn't have EXP 0.

Won't be super different from KH2, I imagine.

The leap is comparable to DMC1 to DMC3. You have considerably more viable options, enemies are much better, the system was polished head to toe, the exploration element vanished (to my joy), and Drives and RCs were added (the former being entirely new while the latter is an expansion of contextual commands in KH1). Vanilla KH2 came out half baked; Final Mix+ fixed the difficulty, added a few new abilities (and a new form), tweaked others, new items, a few new enemy variants, and added a considerable amount of post game bosses, the best being Lingering Will/Terra, who could give Rodin a run for his money. Multiple AI patterns, invincible while attacking, an 'armor' that drastically reduces the damage he takes until you land a certain number of hits (screwing single hit attacks), can seal your magic/physical options, lots of physical attacks (flying around on his keyblade, fist combos, using it as a whip, a UT/super move), using his keyblade as a gun/cannon (the latter of which can be deflected back at him), etc. A true gent.

A spell?

Yes, stops time for enemies in the AoE. Works on most bosses too.

No lube, no reach-around run.

I'll make it pay for dinner.

Half surprised they didn't try to resolve that with regenerating HP.

A summon does just that.

That's what I suspect we'll find to be the case.

Lv 3 Great Cannon. GG.

Sounds nice

Paired with Corona Slash, it made for a good Ogre killer.

That high Fulmination should have allowed sustained Force Lightning for UNLIMITED POWER.

I was sorely disappointed.

Punishing the guilty is what pleases her. Murdering loads of guilty people is the way to go.

Doing Allah's work.

Though I don't believe she believes in pre-empting evil deeds.

What a sweetheart.

The Guilty pay the Price.

She needs a champion who wears her colors. And a cape. And cowl. And has exploding batarangs.

Maybe 'invade' as a spectre that cannot interact (only watch).

That counts towards their BP limit? DSP's about to get a lot of unwanted 'followers'.

You are team gank.

Who said there's no 'I' in team? This would be a great reward for very high soul levels.

I'm sure they would love it.

They're probably allergic.

Show them what real, ultimate power is.

Bear cavalry.

The increased aggro doesn't really overcome the fact that they're easy to spot.

Chameleon should help with that.

That's just a trap acting like a tomboy to be more confusing.

They're all traps.

She's quite the disgrace.

With the world at peace and everyone cooperating, she has no excuse for not knowing the more advanced bending. Blood, metal, lightning, Combustion man's explosions, with blood being the big one. Yakone rendered a courtroom unconscious without lifting a finger. It consistently bests Avatars, and most lose outright to it. Being able to strip another of their bending without putting yourself at risk is well worth it. Faster too. It's illegal, you say? "I'm the Avatar, and you gotta deal with it."

He need only remember to whisper sweet, cutting/scathing words about people at their lowest point in life.

He'd make a fine wife.

Thus, perfect for pawns.

They say immortal, obedient, not truly sentient beings. I hear free labor.

Weak guy trained in a normal way and somehow became stupidly strong.

Probably steroids.

who was talking about using a wish for youth anyway

But not for Vegeta?

Bulma already demonstrated that she could find Trunks attractive

What is wrong with these women.

>just come out

The RAW came out (online) less than a few days ago.  An early (bad) sub is out.

>former lovers

That's one theory.  Apologists like to say he was in another universe and/or sleeping during Buu returning (and his initial antics).  Nobody ever brought him up to speed.  Sounds legit.  More likely the woman and random guy making the story just don't have a talent for storytelling (and don't know Z well *better than AT at this point though*).  The woman seems more in-tune with Dragonball than Z.  Gags and 'adventure' with lots of talking.  Not much Action.  What is there is GT level.  So...it's a lot like GT.  Garbage.

>hard combination to overcome

True.  Kid Buu's autistic ability to just learn things he sees (plot based silliness at fault here) would be notable too.  Though Majin Buu somewhat demonstrated this, he lacked the ability to sense ki (Super Buu got it back).

>inherit money

He must have.  His 'star' came back along with all his property.  I don't recall that s*** ever getting wished back.  Do you?  Didn't King Kai have to leg it to live with the others due to homelessness?

>just wanted to give another a shot

He used that quite a lot in Buu saga.  Pathetic.

>Vegeta didn't think twice

I don't recall him doing so in the manga.  He agreed to the fusion before that happened.  It would be in his character to keep fighting though.  Only against Frieza did he falter (largely due to their history *childhood trauma*).

>a kai

Not their race.  Bills isn't, anyway.  But he is a 'god' like the 'kai'.

>couldn't pull out the Z sword

Because he's a dumb, lazy cat man who break dances and throws fits over childish things.

>has superiors

Of course.  His retainer is stronger than him (his teacher playing as servant/caretaker *as if Bills is just a pet he trained*).  And he's the weakest of the other 'destruction gods' (eleven others, I suppose) aside from more 'gods' to be considered.  Did you expect they wouldn't want to leave sequel bait?

>IT to King Kai

Or Supreme Kai.  Apologists would explain it as their having 'divine' and 'regular' ki.  They'll pull s*** out of their ass.  Most of those who like this will be fans of DB that hate Z or just those who found it in themselves to like GT.  So man-children who fancy Adventure and Fantasy over Action and Sci-Fi.  That and entry level fans who are know-nothings.

>child support

Would the 'government' of the Z world even have this?  Would their 'collectors' even go out into the country where dinosaurs and monsters live?

>Super Buu has better fits

True.

>he can fly

And he fell.  Just like the line Gohan gave to Semi-Perfect Cell.  "Cell!  Give up...or fall!" (Cell actually panics while believing, for a moment, he couldn't fly and that the impact would hurt him)

>better villain like this

A few of them.

>not even Vegeta

They have him fear and respect this 'god'.  It's completely out-of-character.

>why would he

Vanity?

>want to be kids again

They're idiots. They didn't think it through.

>so edgy and mature

Drunk Gohan was somehow lamer than usual.  I wonder if I rewatched it...would pregenant Videl be drinking?  I think so.

>most threatening

After Lord Frieza-sama the Terrible.

>literally

Yes.  Bent over the knee and spanked repeatedly.

>taught SS3

He would have to get business done quick. That form is garbage.

>SW prequel tier

Fitting as AT is running wild like Lucas.  Just more in a backseat manner.  Or maybe equally so, if one were to see how those movies really got made.

>King Pickle

>stronger than Beer Virus

Yeah, probably.

>insult on the Prophet

Pickle Man needs a beheading.  His turban privelages are now revoked.

>how can he hide from there

Jokes aside, they wouldn't be able to reach him there either.  The area considered 'heaven' for good spirits doesn't involve bodies.  Only good warriors seem to get to keep them (and go to training grounds elsewhere).  This is a shonen fighting manga universe, after all.  Logic is dictated by FIGHTAN.  Hell exists for bad fighters conditionally.  Otherwise, one is purified, body destroyed and re-incarnated.  Supposedly.  Though people get wished back as they were before regularly.

>birthdays for Chi-Chi

As many as he attended for Bulma.  None of them.

>made another topic

>it's the same thing

>blocked the one that is meant to argue with him

Silly.  I'd just keep replying.  Someone will quote you eventually (or he'll peak).

>too negative as a violation

You remembered. Don't forget about 'too long'.  Guess I shouldn't whip out my ding-a-ling-a-ling.

>claws

Pretty sure.

>fists

Bare (Pyro glove punches was more recent I believe *even some use of Charred Ring kicks*) and weapons.  More recently, SHORYUKEN only (Dragonbone Fist R2 *with resins, enchants, etc.*).  I'm working my way towards watching that run now.  Getting caught up with this stuff takes a lot of time.  Another run is the Kirk Armor evade only (shredding fools).

Itsuno's going to announce a new game at TGS. I'm hoping for DMC but expecting DD2.

An early (bad) sub is out.

Nothing official though. *checks release date* Damn, there hasn't been a movie in a while.

Apologists like to say he was in another universe

DBZ has other universes (aside from the past/future)?

Nobody ever brought him up to speed.

But he knows what a SS3 is?

More likely the woman and random guy making the story just don't have a talent for storytelling

The B Team botching things? Who would have thought.

Gags and 'adventure' with lots of talking.

Because they can't IT/wish themselves wherever they need to go.

So...it's a lot like GT.

And not canon.

Kid Buu's autistic ability to just learn things he sees (plot based silliness at fault here) would be notable too.

Indeed. Odd he never mimics SS3.

Do you?

As I recall another kai mocked him for it in filler.

Didn't King Kai have to leg it to live with the others due to homelessness?

He was with the general population of the Otherworld.

He used that quite a lot in Buu saga.

But for the little brown boy? Goes all out.

Only against Frieza did he falter (largely due to their history *childhood trauma*).

But still fought him in the end. Courage.

But he is a 'god' like the 'kai'.

Who can't teleport.

His retainer is stronger than him

The woman? She doesn't try to help or stop him?

And he's the weakest of the other 'destruction gods'

I look forward to Goku vs Bob the Bear.

Did you expect they wouldn't want to leave sequel bait?

Who would take that bait?

Apologists would explain it as their having 'divine' and 'regular' ki.

When has 'divine' kai ever been manifested to do anything? Is there 'magic' kai too?

>DBZ

>catering to fans of not DBZ

Where have I heard this before...

So man-children who fancy Adventure and Fantasy over Action and Sci-Fi.

How long until they introduce kai midi-chlorians?

Would their 'collectors' even go out into the country where dinosaurs and monsters live?

Hercule would try, fail outrageously, then find some way to get it out of the Saiyans (families).

Cell actually panics while believing, for a moment, he couldn't fly and that the impact would hurt him

From that height? He took blows from SS Vegeta.

They have him fear and respect this 'god'.

He never respected Buu, who managed to kill him in an empowered state.

Vanity?

He is a sharp dresser.

Drunk Gohan was somehow lamer than usual.

Has he been drunk before?

I wonder if I rewatched it...would pregenant Videl be drinking?

That would explain a lot.

After Lord Frieza-sama the Terrible.

The only villain to be fought to a stand still by Goku.

Bent over the knee and spanked repeatedly.

Burrrrr.

He would have to get business done quick.

He'd need to be angry before using it (so he wouldn't play with his food).

Fitting as AT is running wild like Lucas.

Perhaps Disney will buy it out. Mickey Goku and Donald Vegeta.

His turban privelages are now revoked.

I bet he's never gone to Mecca.

The area considered 'heaven' for good spirits doesn't involve bodies.

Chi Chi was there.

Logic is dictated by FIGHTAN.

Because they're the most productive members of society.

>fighters exist forever doing nothing

>oblivion for everyone else

Wonderful.

None of them.

Vegeta will have gone to more during Goku's death.

I'd just keep replying

That's the plan.

Guess I shouldn't whip out my ding-a-ling-a-ling.

It's frowned on in public, for some reason.

Pretty sure.

Checked it briefly. Was disappointed at their damage, but he might not upgraded them/DEX. Should have buffed them.

Bare

But not at SL1? That'd be ridiculous.

More recently, SHORYUKEN only

"I love it."-Gene

Another run is the Kirk Armor evade only (shredding fools).

FadetoBlack will love it (roll kills).

Gotten used to the rain of IS yet?

Mostly. Still get raped every once in a while. Been spamming UTs in CH 5 for essence. DCTF is the first weapon where UTs really work (as the Lunar's UT isn't strong enough to consistently one shot IS ninjas, and the 360UT, DS UT and Claws UT are single target).

Some sort of bad port?

A bad team trying to match their betters. They tried Lv. 1 CM in their own (portable) game. Instead of buffing our damage, giving us new abilities, and reducing our health growth on Critical, we take more damage and deal less. It lacked a damage floor and most attacks have a damage cap. So at Lv. 1, many of your attacks deal 1 damage. You have to rely on statuses and set damage attacks. Also, you gain abilities independent of level, so you can grind for all the OP ones (which are plenty), including Second Chance/Once More, which makes your low HP irrelevant. The dodge is also broken; you mash square and evade 99% of attacks.

Things like 'better foes' would rub them raw.

Oh, that was just between KH2 and KH1. DMC1's are more unique and less gimmicky (though not necessarily harder).

Sounds exploitable.

Some bosses never get to attack.

But that's easy mode-o. It doesn't count.

Of course. It's just 'layers' on top of other mechanics. DaS doesn't do that.

NOTE: DMG did an 'ask me anything' thread for KH1, where he advocated Summons. Who are nothing compared to KH2's. Which he insists are worthless.

Who doesn't?

Squirrel Girl.

Though, she seems to fancy murdering the guilty.

Spectre it is.

Just remember what Ash taught you

"I'll get the mop."-Harley

If it bleeds for a while and doesn't die, you know it's female.

This is going in the Bible.

some crazy man with a crazy plan

With the show going over the first avatar, he might be trying to replicate the process.

Can't fight spirits without it, but why...are you fighting spirits?

So she doesn't have to spend more time with Tenzin and his godawful children. Who are still in the show.

Speaking of which, watched the 'best of' for Married with Children (all seasons).

Will do.

Perfect sexual toys for trading, selling, playtesting, etc.

And if they're not fit for the job? That's what mines are for.

He's pretty small, but he did lose pretty much all of his hair

That's what you get for cheating.

They can't get enough vegetable (people) inside them.

That include Pickle Man?

>DD2 rather than DMC5

Count on it.

>other universes

In this movie, yes.

>what a SS3 is

He knew it had long hair.  Just not that it wasn't SS2.

>B-team

Generous as ever.

>adventure when you can fly/teleport with planet busting power

Yeah, no.

>not canon

Certainly not.  Primary will always remain the original serialization of the manga.  Beyond that would be secondary with Word of God (AT).  Tertiary for whatever crap he just acknowledges as having gotten a license.  Our 'God' being a zombie (the walking dead).  He doesn't call anything canon.  Doesn't use the word.  None of them do.  They won't touch that and have no interest in changing policy.  So primary is all that there can be.  Even AT wouldn't be able to make something canon at this point.  He's too far removed from who he was before.  Something doesn't have to be canon to be enjoyable.  Too bad this film/special was utter s***.

>King Kai the homeless

I checked on it.  It's just so.  It was never brought back.

>can't teleport

Doesn't exhibit any 'godly' abilities either.  Weak though 'Shin' may have been compared to his foes, his abilities were remarkably good.  Not unlike Vegeta with Gallic Gun being so far above Kamehameha, he had binding, telekinesis, spontaneous creation, telelportation, etc. beyond the techniques others may have that are similar.

>never respected Buu

Never feared him either.  Mr. Buu would be trash to him (watching out for magic just the same *that is no joke as he respected even Dabura due soley to the petrication spit*).  More importantly, Vegeta wasn't impressed with the SUPREME KAI.  He doesn't really respect or care about any of the Kais (gods).  They're all weaker than him by the point he really has to deal with them.

>Chi-Chi was there

She sure was (in an anime filler).

>roll kills

Though I believe I heard talk about 4 Kings not being done that way (strictly).  I'll see soon enough.

>making critical disadvantages irrelevant

Neat.

>DMG 'ask me anything'

>going on about summons still

Aside from yourself, any other 'vets' turn up to slap him around?

>going in the Bible

Canon.

>to escape the gag characters

Reason enough.  Yet she brought some with her.

>what mines are for

And if feeling generous, toss a few to the Brine.  Underappreciated, it is.

>Pickle Man

The slug is smarter than he looks to have picked up on this trend.

Generous as ever.

They're the Z Team.

Primary will always remain the original serialization of the manga. Beyond that would be secondary with Word of God (AT). Tertiary for whatever crap he just acknowledges as having gotten a license.

The similarities to Lucas are striking. I expect a CG Dragonball connecting the Cell to Buu sagas (starring the kids).

Our 'God' being a zombie (the walking dead).

Not human anymore. Has to be put down before it infects others.

Doesn't use the word. None of them do.

Weird. Do they fear the backlash, or are trying to imply the movies are somewhat connected to the primary?

So primary is all that there can be.

For the best.

He's too far removed from who he was before.

He changed things frequently while he was writing the manga.

Too bad this film/special was utter s***.

Wait for the sequel. SSG2.

he had binding

Oh?

spontaneous creation

I wondered why he didn't conjure up some antimatter or neutronium to kill Buu. It'd kill Shin too, but that's what Dragon Balls are for. Doubt Buu could regenerate from light.

Mr. Buu would be trash to him

Sounds like a good father-son outing.

He doesn't really respect or care about any of the Kais (gods).

How'd they come to be in charge of the universe?

She sure was (in an anime filler).

So many great things happen there.

>no roll killing Four Kings

Understandable.

Aside from yourself, any other 'vets' turn up to slap him around?

A few laughed at the silliness of the topic (he made another saying anything but Hard *no mention of Lv 1* was below him), but the only vet like us left years ago.

Canon.

There was a great quote by Jesus about women, but I can't find it.

Yet she brought some with her.

A teenage girl trying to run a major corporation? "OUTRAGEOUS"-Aqua Man

Underappreciated, it is.

A vital part of the ecosystem. Is not protecting the environment the reason for Grigori's existence?

The slug is smarter than he looks to have picked up on this trend.

He's oddly affectionate of Gohan.

>striking

Too right.

>more filler

Buurrr.

>weird

They want everything to have an air of legitimacy (for maximum earnings).  That's all.  So long as they don't dismiss ANYTHING, the arguments of canon will continue (and people will have to somewhat regard everything with a license).

>changes during the manga serialization

He was already slipping.  His editors were telling him what was correct by that point (not catching all his mistakes).  Also, shooting down dumb ideas was their job.  He lacks people to do this now (like Lucas and the prequels).  The similarities are staggering.

>sequel

That is inevitable.  There was sequel bait IN the movie.  No real ending.

>Oh?

Though Shin was out of his league even with SS2 Gohan's level of power, he was more than able to completely restrain him (for a bit) with a telekinetic hold technique.  Again, he's not the bravest, not the most capable or the strongest, but he has some good techniques to help overcome how weak he is versus the opponents he has to show up for (versus ignoring *like Frieza the weakling that any of them could one-shot with a ki blast*).

>why he didn't pull up nasty things

He's not too clever.  Not all that brave either.  Not necessarily a coward (he overcomes the fear that grips him).  Lacks a death wish.  He only really used this to pull up the hardest thing in the universe.  I wonder if he could have touched strong attacks like Kid Buu's Vanishing Ball and teleported them out to space (his method doesn't involve needing a ki signature to follow, but takes more energy).  I don't see why not.  Putting the attack back on Kid Buu would be funny.  As would teleporting Kid Buu into his own Candy Beam's path.  Embarassing.  Again, he's a failure, so all those techniques are wasted on him (and he taught nothing of what he could *like Goku*).

>how

Not noted, but it is said by secondary canon they are the first beings that created the world beyond Otherworld if I remember right.  A race that makes other races and possesses a power far beyond them (for a long time at least that held true).  This with their long life spans and weird abilities basically made them fit to be gods.  That they weren't 'evil' just helped give this legitimacy as they became judges too (with lesser variants controlling lower affairs to the point of disconnect between 'admins' and 'mods').

>great things

Like the bulk of the Majin Vegeta vs Goku fight.

>Understandable

It's hard for me to get why as I've seen him do really long and absurd things against them before.  I'll have to watch to get a feel for why this might be the case.  He's very patient, so perhaps something went wrong.  I've seen him do hour plus fights in other runs.

>lesser posters laughed at him

Telling.

>only other vet is gone

Figures.

>Jesus says

I'd take that as gospel.

>oddly affectionate

Shotacon?  It didn't seem to last as he got older...

DaS2 trailer wasn't much. Showed a continuous lightning strike miracle. Boss was lifted off the ground when backstabbed. Enemies seem eager to backstab us this.

So long as they don't dismiss ANYTHING,

Didn't they do this for GT?

Also, shooting down dumb ideas was their job.

The Buu saga is probably the worst in terms of enormous power gains and losses (inspiring GT by ending with a massively depowered villain losing to Goku *outside of his highest power state*). Some recycling of Cell with Buu resorting to absorption when bested.

The similarities are staggering.

At least George kept Williams onboard.

There was sequel bait IN the movie.

I see the game industry isn't the only one trying to mimic the West.

Though Shin was out of his league even with SS2 Gohan's level of power, he was more than able to completely restrain him (for a bit) with a telekinetic hold technique.

Impressive. That might have done some good had he taught it to Gohan.

like Frieza the weakling that any of them could one-shot with a ki blast

Bills doesn't think so.

He only really used this to pull up the hardest thing in the universe.

Goku's head?

his method doesn't involve needing a ki signature to follow, but takes more energy

Fair trade.

I don't see why not.

Could he survive touching the attack?

Again, he's a failure, so all those techniques are wasted on him

From the sounds of it, he could suicide kill anyone in the series. What about learning that technique that splits you into multiple parts, then having one grab the enemy and teleport into the Sun? Could he survive that?

Not noted, but it is said by secondary canon they are the first beings that created the world beyond Otherworld if I remember right.

That's quite a feat (even with how small Z's world is). Were the Kais stronger in the past? Must have been somewhat notable with making Super Buu so much stronger than Kid. Or are there 'creation' gods too?

That they weren't 'evil' just helped give this legitimacy as they became judges too

Vegeta would have something to say about that.

with lesser variants controlling lower affairs to the point of disconnect between 'admins' and 'mods'

What the Hell did Grand Kai ever do?

Like the bulk of the Majin Vegeta vs Goku fight.

What matters is both ended the same.

I've seen him do hour plus fights in other runs.

Holy crap. I thought GoW had long fights.

I'd take that as gospel.

I'd like to see feminist argue against him.

It didn't seem to last as he got older...

Gohan had an affair (with his mother).

>DaS2 trailer wasn't much

I thought it was bad.  Recycled and poorly chosen clips.  Even what was new wasn't all that.  I did enjoy the backstab of the 'boss' (would have liked it more with more elevation and thrusts while holding it in the air *with blood sprays*).

>do this for GT

Nope.  Not even GT.  They called it a 'side-story', but not 'non-canon'. Close as those are, it's not what AT was saying.  He (nor the others) never speaks of 'canon'.  It's left entirely to fans.  So going with the source material in the original medium from the original serialization period is the only good call (and contending with the errors already present).  Beyond that would be lesser canons that can be dismissed if in conflict with a higher tier.  It's a strong drop from primary to secondary (Word of God) though.  Tertiary (official books, non-filler in the anime, etc.) aren't very reliable either.  Beyond that is garbage tier 'canon' with filler, movies, specials, GT, DBO, etc.  Things that tend to contradict each other to the point that they can't be in the same universe and work at all.  Just entertainment, but not informing of the 'real' Dragonball (Z).

>power rollercoaster

GT had this in spades, but BoC/CotG might give it a run for its money on that front.

>recycling

Plenty of that too.  It is disgusting out of character while also being a sharp tone shift (putting animation, fight quality, art, music, etc. aside).  Again, it says 'DBZ', but doesn't feel like Z.  It tries to play at being 'Dragonball' with the Z cast.  It comes off as another fan-fic made anime (GT).  Because it IS fanfic (Naho Ooishi and Yusuke 'Whatever').  Just like all the recent specials have been.

>mimic the West

Why cherry pick the bad qualities?  Why not pick the good things from the festering rot?

>might have done some good had he

Taught some of this jazz to someone?  Probably.  Same thing I say about Goku.  But then, Buuhan would have had access to superior techniques that might have forced Vegetto to actually try as SS1 (or go SS2 to make the gap too absurd).  Forget IT, get true teleportation, restraining, telekinesis, another variant of spontaneous creation (no need for candy beam), etc.  It's a good thing he didn't absorb Old Kai to wisen himself up even further (Piccolo was about the only one he choose to make himself less of an idiot).

>Bills doesn't think

Sounds about right.  Beer Virus is just a glorified pet of Whiskey Whizzer Wizard after all.

>Goku's head

Hmmm, yes.

>survive touching the attack

We've seen those that are absurdly weak compared to a move not instantly disappear until impact (or explosion).  Hard to say.  More of a plot thing.  If plot says he can, he can.  One so weak has no business being able to do this otherwise.

>survive that

I don't see a reason why he couldn't.  It should cost him just that much of his total power (having destroyed that portion of his energy).  A brief drain...or if to make it less OP, a permanent loss (needing recovery in another way). Rope it into life force and it begins to mean more (unless he splits off a super small portion of himself rather than half *or splits into MANY and has one do the job*). Cheating the system.

Suicide attack aside, why can't he just teleport things to Hell and then teleport back out without them?  If there is no escape there, why not just do this?  The answer is 'plot'.

>stronger

Pretty much all of the other 'Surpreme' Kai were stronger than him.  There were others too, but it isn't clear where they went off to.  The Elder Supreme Kai was what Majin Buu absorbed, but his good nature ruins the point of the exchange (because Buu is otherwise fueled by evil, the good cost him more than he gained).  One of the Kais was very strong (absorbing him allowed for a power increase that may have been slightly above Super Buu *just not with anyone absorbed yet*).

>creation gods

They're more this than proper warriors.  Old Kai's magic was tied to some witch more than Kai arts.  Potara is a Kai specific trick for fusion that allowed the creation of this being capable of unlocking power with a stupid dance and chant performance.

>something to say

So longas they deny him his power and body, he wouldn't say too much.  With those, he (later on) would have what it takes to oppose most of them.  It's likely the Elder Supreme Kai and 'North' (I believe) Kai would smash him through sheer force (power difference) as he was at the end of Buu Saga though.  They're not the big joke that Shin was in terms of strength.  Shin had some great tehcniques, but it would mean more if one or both of the noted had them along with the strength to not get annihilated before it mattered.

>Grand Kai

I don't remember him being canon.

>what matters

Quite right.  It's not how things begin or 'go'.  It's how they end that will count 'in the end'.

>long fights

His bare fisting of Gwyn was almost two hours.

>see a feminist argue

That would be a first.  They try something similar, but calling them arguments is a bit of an exaggeration.

>an affair

Living together so long and with a dead father (husband), I don't know that it can be called as such.  Seems more like Goku was the one having the affair as the pretender in the household (when around).  Domestic partners would apply to living with someone as long as Gohan did (not applied to blood relations normally *obviously*).

The new Capcom game was an iOS RPG out this week. Glad Itsuno's talent isn't being wasted.

Tried out KH1 HD. Audio cuts out a lot. Progress is slow, as I get lost frequently and watch cutscenes the first time through. Don't have many abilities yet. Current magic ruins normal enemies, without the good stuff. First few bosses have been fairly challenging. Your allies will take out Clayton by themselves. Wish I could remove them. KH2 made them deal virtually no damage, and at low levels they were made of glass.

Recycled and poorly chosen clips.

Hear talk that you can be invaded in hollow form this time, and that dying gradually reduces your max health down half (not sure if that's invaders only). They've showed the same area in every time. I'd like to see more of the weapon types.

They called it a 'side-story'

Even as a chronological follow up to Z? It's consistent with SS4, I suppose.

Close as those are, it's not what AT was saying.

He didn't have much to do with GT, correct? It was purely anime?

So going with the source material in the original medium from the original serialization period is the only good call (and contending with the errors already present).

Agreed. Other than reality collapse, filler be damned.

Word of God

Dumbledore's sexuality added a lot to the books. We now understand his true motivation for protecting Harry.

GT had this in spades, but BoC/CotG might give it a run for its money on that front.

WotD had some funky s*** with Mystic Gohan doing worse than Goku.

It tries to play at being 'Dragonball' with the Z cast.

THIS is how they portray 'Dragonball' Vegeta?

Why cherry pick the bad qualities?

Development is too expensive. Too much time wasted on ridiculous graphics no one cares about *water*. None of them get that the biggest sellers all appeal to non-gamers (who could care less). Action will never get those kinds of numbers, regardless of how good or 'accessible' the game is. This along with the land of the Moon 'lagging' behind the West for years (even though the market is the largest its ever been).

Why not pick the good things from the festering rot?

What does the West really have over Japan in terms of design? RTS's, MMOs, 'cinematic experiences', sandboxes, and a style of RPGs. Mostly PC game stuff. Anything with Action, and they slap us silly. Action, platformers, RPGs, even shooters when they put their mind to it. Usually more technically sound too.

But then, Buuhan would have had access to superior techniques that might have forced Vegetto to actually try as SS1 (or go SS2 to make the gap too absurd).

Brilliant strategy. Piss him off by making him try so he immediately jumps SS3, then let the form do its job.

It's a good thing he didn't absorb Old Kai to wisen himself up even further

He could Mystic'ed himself.

Beer Virus is just a glorified pet of Whiskey Whizzer Wizard after all.

I'm guessing no one was smart enough to toss a Destructo Disk at him.

Cheating the system.

The best way of fighting.

Suicide attack aside, why can't he just teleport things to Hell and then teleport back out without them?

He can bring Goku too. That way, the villain's defeated, SS3 can be useful, Goku never has to see his family again, and they don't have false hope of seeing him again. Everyone wins.

One of the Kais was very strong

He could keep up with the Saiyans easily. They would have well earned their place as rulers of the universe.

It's likely the Elder Supreme Kai and 'North' (I believe) Kai would smash him through sheer force (power difference)

With techniques like Shin's, they should be able to take Gotenks.

I don't remember him being canon.

Pikkon isn't either, is he? The bit with him and Buu being filler.

>how they end

On Coke's ignore list.

His bare fisting of Gwyn was almost two hours.

Good grief. Does he do anything similar with other titles?

They try something similar, but calling them arguments is a bit of an exaggeration.

True dat. Devolves amazingly fast into a victim complex.

>domestic partners

They can visit Hercule and Mr. Buu on weekends.

The rule for Karmic Justice was indeed just to take 5 hits in quick succession, so 100% block doesn't work (something just less than that is good *HP regen could help maybe*), but it seems i-frame hits taken do count.  Just won't damage them if they're in i-frames (like if the fifth hit is a backstab or they evade perfectly *or they're just far away*).  What you cast it with doesn't matter.  Just the magic adjust of your right hand tool (and the magic damage you can do *Dusk Crown, RTSR, etc.*).  All this aside from hits to your body as you're dying building up the meter.  When fighting in PvE, something to remember would be suicide pushes against bosses and other non-respawning foes.

There aren't many PvE videos with that set-up though.  Too PvP focused.  I'd like to see a Velka themed set-up with her talisman, rapier, karmic justice, etc. as a Dickmoon (Darkmoon Blade seems appropriate *though more tied to Gwyndolin*).  Not sure if talk of KJE was just as a dropped spell that mods bring in or a spell mod of KJ put on a cast that should otherwise be a blank spell (acting like a faster WoG with alternate cast animation).  If it were a dropped spell, it would be neat to have in the arsenal (KJ on demand).

Though, thinking about it more, bosses tend to be such that if you leave before 'victory achieved' (or 'you defeated'), they come back.  I believe that would apply to your death too.  IF you died at the right time somehow, you would get the souls and loot upon respawn, but lose what you had on you (left where you died) *without a ring of sacrifice...which would go nicely with suicide runs if you wanted to keep stuff*.  Having the KJ be the finishing blow as you both die might be too soon to count (facing the boss again).  It would almost certainly be the case should you die and the boss keeps attacking (setting off KJ).  Not sure.  I think that's how it would be balanced a bit.  Mini-bosses would still get screwed though (death is instant for them, I'm pretty sure).

Vow of Silence is tied to her.  Doesn't seem to work on most bosses.  Makes Stray Demon unable to cast and Priscilla is outlined by the effect while she's invisible.  Prevents sorcery, pyromancy and miracle use of pretty much everyone else (outside NPC special weapon abilities).  Seems Sacrifice rings are tied to her, but a lost miracle was for Way of White (same effect as her rings): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LOKT9h2XuE&t=1m2s. *aside from more implications that Gywnevere is the mother of Priscilla...likely with Seath*  Also, muh velka covenant: http://darksoulswiki.wikispaces.com/Ring+of+Condemnation *need to mod to get these*

Affiduvats were for breaking convenants (aside from Pardoner taking away sins *rather than a 'Pardon' item*).  Book of the Guilty and Indictments are obvious cases.  Black set with Velka's Mask is what Oswald wears.  She has a Talisman scaling with INT rather than FTH, though the magic adjust isn't that amazing otherwise (just okay).  Can't apply Darkmoon and the like to her Rapier without a glitch, it seems (fine by me *exploits abound*).  Hard to say what one should have for a Velka servant:

-Mask/Black set

-Velka's Rapier (both hands *one for parry*)

-Velka's Talisman (casting and maybe magic adjust)

-Vow of Silence

-Karmic Justice

-Darkmoon Blade *semi-related, glitched on to her weapon for more damage; have to be in their covenant to make it work*

-Darkmoon ring *semi-related, another attunement slot were this desired*

-Ring of Condemnation *hacked in*

-KJE *hacked in*

-Eagle Shield, Grass Crest Shield, Sanctus, etc. *unrelated to Velka, but good for KJ*

-Dusk Crown *unrelated to Velka and takes away the mask, but great for KJ damage*

-RTSR *unrelated, good for KJ and other damage sources*

-Escape Death *hacked spell like the rings of sacrifce*

-RRoS/RoS *for lack of spell*

Bountiful Sunlight is for Princess Guard and won't work with lots of neat spells (at least not with you casting them), but can heal charmed undead, undead while invading, your 'party', etc. other than just you.  Not Velka related, but would be even more effective than Sanctus (20x more HP recovery before considering 'Miracle Synergy' with her ring or the online 'rings' that turn up).  A team with one using this while the other uses KJ, PW, IF, etc. would be neat if that does indeed work. Replenishment is a lesser version of this (half as effective), but with the same drawback (minus needing to be in her covenant).  No way to (while alone) trick the system into getting Replishment active as you make use of KJ (healing as you take chip damage through a shield).  Chaos Blade is more workable with these types of spells active.

This said, it's easy to lose focus and just grab semi-related things in effect (Homeward, Great Magic Barrier, TWoP, WotG, etc.).  Better to keep more pure.  Just that KJ without a 'shield' wouldn't be for the best.  Sanctus is WoW stuff.  GCS is the usual answer.  The crown has an attribute that is highly desirable, so it's hard to pass on it (as with the RTSR ring compared to the dropped RoC).  Obviously Escape Death (WoW) is very related to the rings Velka makes (same effect) and would free up a slot *though potentially blocking other spells from being cast over it if not being blocked by those same spells*.  Having RoC for explosions based on offensive, KJE for an answer to lacking WoG (offensive miracle) and KJ for defense would be swell aside from preventing others from using spells (within an area).  I don't know that Vow of Silence is altered by miracle synergy at all though.  Nothing about cast time or range was denoted that I recall.  Presumably, the KJE would only get a damage buff (not a range buff as with force or both as with Emit Force).  Typically, TCC is desired as part of a KJ set-up.

Anyway, in Dark Souls 2, it is said you will be open to invasion while Hollow.  Hollow also has half HP.  Dying while Hollow lowers total HP by 10% each time (up until 50% reduction).

>chronological follow-up

As noted, they don't care enough to declare canon.  May as well be one of the other 12 universes.  GT, DBO, movies, etc.  That sort of thing.  Not unlike DBM.  Perhaps the woman aped the notion from them, but did even less with it.

>not much to do with GT

Made some sketches (concept art) to design a few things, some basic story suggestions, etc.

>purely anime

In that it had no manga, yes.  They tried to give legitimacy to the recent crap with manga specials, but they're not part of the serialization, not written by AT and aren't drawn by him either.  He's a backseat author to the successor.  Just there to keep things appearing legitimate.  That's all.

>added a lot

Hmmm, yes.  All that tension.

>doing worse than Goku

About as well as Videl.  Vegeta did better than Gohan.  Gotenks did about as poorly.

>how DB Vegeta is

If it were a 'gag' episode of 'good' Vegeta, yes.

>have over Japan

Money to toss at games for AAA trash?

>Action is to their advantage

By and large, yes.  It isn't even close.  There's basically just GoW and (I suppose) SWFU(1).

>let SS3 do its job

Sadly (for Buuhan), fused entities seem somewhat resistant to the state's fatigue causing nature.

>keep up with Saiyans

Beyond them.  Not so much a fully realized Hybrid though.  Forget about fusions though.  Two fused children (hybrids, granted) were ridiculous.  Fusion of Trunks and Gohan would have been a decent hybrid case.  Even Bra and Pan (though Bra would need to get serious with her training to pull her weight in the pairing).  Easy way to cheat the system would be potential unlocks.  Some dirty deals with the Old Kai would suffice.  Get Launch drunk and relevant again.  Dress Old Kai up like Tien.  Too easy.

>made himself Mystic

Eventually.  If he could have a little 'him' dancing in his head while otherwise maintaining a fight...or just teleported well away from trouble and realized his potential in peace...

>no one was smart enough

Nope.  Non-regenerating idiot that would likely have tanked it.  HURR DURR what is this technique?  I will show I'm da strongest and headbutt it.  ded/10

>take Goku to Hell

All the bad guys he could ever hope for.

>techniques like

I believe the Elder Kai had such tricks, but I'm not sure about the brute. Surely he had some of the basics though.

>Pikkon

Non-canon.

>ignore list

You Block, You Lose.  "You can't ignore my girth, Ash." - Gary "Motherf***ing" Oak

>similar with other titles

Not from what I've seen.  Mostly speedruns otherwise.  He's started a blind run of DD:DA recently.  It'll be awhile before he gets a feel for things.  He went into the Saurian well as a Fighter (no skills and starting gear *no items*) with Rook and his main pawn while at level 5 or so.  It went great, if you were wondering (read: rekt).

>Hercule and Mr. Buu

Hmmm, yes.  Buu Bee.

NOTE: Watched a bunch of stuff about dropped content, saw some of the stuff (even a dropped boss in action), monster in-fighting (Artorias vs Ornstein), possessing monsters/bosses (sample of a super Rapport), weapon swaps for movesets (tricks and mods), etc.  Actually playing as NPCs means more than looking like them to me.  Better still, being the bosses/monsters and fighting others.  Or, changing team, playing as them against invaders.  Saw a guy using Andre to pummel the chaps in the Church, Gwyn against his knights and other fun stuff.  Even wheelskeletons.  Neat stuff, indeed.  Just no videos of the Ring of Condemnation being used (apparently I misunderstood and it is the same idea as Karmic Justice, but as a ring).  Still want to see that.  I'll probably share some links with you so you can check out some of this stuff.  For starters, there is this video: http://www.twitch.tv/gibbed/b/371227459

NG2 CH 11 sure has a lot of ninjas.

Not interested.

Never will be.

Clearly they know this man's strong points.

Touch controls, brah. They're crazy precise.

Unskippable?

They're skippable, but I haven't seen most of them.

Not an option?

No. They either die or you replace them with a Summon.

>link

Appreciated. Good to hear Blue Phantoms are on a time limit.

>Lightning and Dark are increased by FAI

>Dark

Oh? We getting a new type of spell?

>bleed and poison increase with Dex

This should help. Gimmicks weapons might be viable boss killers now (Priscilla's scythe was great for Stray Demon).

>agility dictates movement speed

Gimme mah Havel's.

something just less than that is good *HP regen could help maybe*),

Should work well enough against knights and darkwraiths.

Just the magic adjust of your right hand tool

So you're free to switch it around then.

>Dusk Crown

I was disappointed this doesn't affect weapon buff damage. It'd be the best helm hands down.

Darkmoon Blade seems appropriate

Her rapier isn't buffable. Is Velka related to the Painting Guardian's at all? Their sword is cited as one of the top DPS weapons (though it's short range makes it trash in PvP).

If it were a dropped spell, it would be neat to have in the arsenal (KJ on demand).

It looks pretty damn strong. Lobos made a mockery of bosses in his Miracles only run.

I believe that would apply to your death too.

Had this happen against Capra IIRC.

Mini-bosses would still get screwed though (death is instant for them, I'm pretty sure).

Correct.

Doesn't seem to work on most bosses.

Their magic's probably on a different system. Stopping the 4Kings projectiles and explosion would be great if it worked.

Priscilla is outlined by the effect while she's invisible.

Useful enough.

>Escape Death

No reason to ever not have this active. No more worrying about losing humanity for summoning or soul loss. Remove a lot of tension.

aside from more implications that Gywnevere is the mother of Priscilla...likely with Seath

Dem tentacles be tentaclin. Surprised Gwyn didn't kill Seathe himself.

>Ring of Condemnation

Attacking Velka in melee range seems like a very, very bad idea.

Darkmoon Blade *semi-related, glitched on to her weapon for more damage

It'll be OP stacked on the rapiers regular magic damage.

No way to (while alone) trick the system into getting Replishment active as you make use of KJ

With Power Within active as well.

Obviously Escape Death (WoW) is very related to the rings Velka makes (same effect) and would free up a slot *though potentially blocking other spells from being cast over it if not being blocked by those same spells*.

For general exploration, it should be worth it.

Dying while Hollow lowers total HP by 10% each time (up until 50% reduction).

I hope there's a Cling Ring to soften this. Rather not be handicapped in my first run.

May as well be one of the other 12 universes.

The one Bill inhabits, yes?

Made some sketches (concept art) to design a few things,

Some of them got pretty stupid.

They tried to give legitimacy to the recent crap with manga specials, but they're not part of the serialization,

Nor written at the same time.

All that tension.

Sheds new light on the cave swimming scene. I liked how they had all the Hallows assembled there, but didn't make use of them.

About as well as Videl.

He must have done a 180 on Gohan after Cell saga.

If it were a 'gag' episode of 'good' Vegeta, yes.

The gag being him respecting Bills.

Money to toss at games for AAA trash?

"I envision EA as the World's Greatest Games Company."-EA's CEO

There's basically just GoW and (I suppose) SWFU(1).

No DmC? Does LoS's deep story mean nothing?

Sadly (for Buuhan), fused entities seem somewhat resistant to the state's fatigue causing nature.

Drat.

Forget about fusions though.

To be fair, Kai can do it too.

Two fused children (hybrids, granted) were ridiculous.

2good. Buu made excellent use of them.

or just teleported well away from trouble and realized his potential in peace...

Game over.

Non-regenerating idiot that would likely have tanked it.

Good luck tanking candy beam.

HURR DURR what is this technique?

One of the older, better techniques dropped after Frieza. Because with the greatest threat in the universe dead, why would they need it?

I will show I'm da strongest and headbutt it. ded/10

Would read again.

All the bad guys he could ever hope for.

The best part? He'll never have to fight Vegeta again.

Surely he had some of the basics though.

One would be enough. Him with Kaio Ken would be no joke.

You Block, You Lose.

"Just remember: I always win."-Coke, right before being moderated.

It'll be awhile before he gets a feel for things

Sorcerer/Mage shouldn't take too long. Bet he'd love throw blasts and explosive arrows.

It went great, if you were wondering (read: rekt).

Further proof of their superiority. Why else would a vet of DS use them?

saw some of the stuff (even a dropped boss in action),

Oh? Was it a technical fight?

Artorias vs Ornstein

Artorias won, I take it?

possessing monsters/bosses

"Beautiful."-Rodin

Gwyn against his knights

Essentially the super STR weapon we've been wanting. That leap looks like so much fun.

I'll probably share some links with you so you can check out some of this stuff.

Much obliged.

---

>a lot of ninjas

Being that it isn't the Sigma version, I'm sure that's quite right.  I've seen the comparisions.

>crazy precise

Hmmm, yes.  Quite.

>blue phantoms on a time limit

I'm only sure that 'white' phantoms have a limit.  Probably 'blue' too though.  'red' and 'purple' (invaders) won't have to worry about that.  The timer takes a hit for each kill they have to their credit (that helps as well).  Might be items to help extend the time (or even drain it further *invader tool*).  We'll see what they end up doing.

>new type of Spell

New to the regular DaS.  Not so much PTDE.

>Havels

Level up 'agility' and just roll around in heavy gear like a fruit again.  Neat.

>free to switch it around

So long as when it activates, the right hand tool has good magid adjust.

>doesn't alter resins and the like

Pity.  Might have been good to have a competing 'helm' on that front.

>isn't buffable

Thus the exploit to work around that.

>related to Painted Guardians

Tied to Lord Blades if I remember right.  Velka isn't really 'with' them.  It would almost seem like she would be against their guarding of some of her followers and tools in the Painted World made by Ariamis.  On the other hand, she seems to be fine associating with Gwyndolin (despite this and his ruse with Gwynevere in Anor Londo *and the plot with the 'chosen undead').

>Lobos with miracles

Getting him to do a KJ focused run is a long shot though.  More likely, his fans will push for Gravelorded New Game now that there is a way to do this.  Hopefully he has the sense to not 'Any %' that.   The point would be to go around and stomp the BPs (so I suppose he doesn't have to fight bosses or monsters unrelated to this).  That alone isn't likely to prove very tough for him (just interesting to see how areas change).  He might have to spice it up in some way.  SL1 to limit himself might be just enough.

>great if it worked

Instead one has to settle for 'great magic barrier' just 'taking pollution down to zero'.

>useful enough

Not unlike Vexxtal with Maris Brood.  Both easy bosses we don't really NEED to see.

>no reason not to have it active

Though it might be of the sort that would deny you other options among good miracles, pyromancies and spells (self-buffs).

>remove a lot of tension

Big time.  Thus the rings.  And keeping them limited (even the Pardoner selling them only ever has ten total per playthrough).

>surprised he didn't kill Seath

If he was ignorant of that primordial crystal, he wouldn't have been able to do it.  We don't know for sure what point in the timeline Priscilla was made though.

>very bad idea

At least, if you're not using i-frames, big damage in small bursts, etc.  Different playstyle.  Great Magic barrier might crap all over the damage from the punish anyway.  Vow of Silence might only prevent the cast (though if it disables the active effect within the range, that would be hilarious *Velka trumping her own spells*).

>OP

Generally the case for doing the unintended.  Like TWoP becoming the infamous TWoD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMz8lB_AvP0 *Darkmoon Blade almost makes it Velka related; the long reach of justice just got more deadly*

NOTE: Modded spell Karmic Fissure is swell too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5DP2A4wdQ0

>Cling Ring

Probably.

>same time

Even when they are, they can't fit in with the main series.

>him respecting a cat

Quite right.  Mocking him endlessly would be in-character.

NOTE: AKheon shared with me a new video by Magnetro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PA3aDBrqP8&lc

>deep story mean nothing

What could be more important in this genre?  Graphics and hard combos aside.

>excellent use of them

He didn't toy around much in the manga, which gives the impression they were burning the candle on both ends with SS3 filtered through Buu.  He still ran through the power-up and was left with two punk kids and a Namek.  He knew he could get Gohan after the beating, so it's not like he made a mistake (until he allowed Vegetto *though he wasn't necessary in a position to 'stop' that either unlike what the anime would suggest*).

>tanking candy beam

They would probably have had him instantly know to 'blow' it away (like Evil Buu did).  Or accidentally do it.

>never have to fight Vegeta again

Unless Vegeta learns of this and acts out to score Hell rather than oblivion (which would become a reward as such).

>right before being moderated

"Sad for YOOOUU!" - Vegeta

>shouldn't take long

He seems opposed to the magical arts.

>love items

He is demonstrating a supreme disregard for them so far.  We'll see how that changes.

>technical fight

It was.  See for yourself.

>Artorias won

As you will see, the obvious outcome is exactly how it went down.  Doubt Super Ornstein would have done better.  Size might have worked against him (too slow).

>the fun of leaping like Gwyn

Dashing like Ornstein, powering-up up as Artorias, etc.

>Zweihander Prop Shredder

That's how good R2's should be. Very strong, but not OP.

Golem Axe R2 with Demon's G. Axe is damn spiffy.

>Shiva

He drops Murakumo. Reason enough for me.

>monster fighting

"Manticore, I choose you!"

>Artorias is tops

Saddens me I never fought him.

>The Sun loses.

We'd never hear the end of it otherwise.

>Self Gravelording

Should be a feature in the game.

>roid rage

Needs more green skin and cestus.

>hacked spells

Karmic Fissure would be hilarious in large groups.

>Jar Eel

Nice cape.

Being that it isn't the Sigma version, I'm sure that's quite right.

It's like a completely different game. IS don't let you get away with s***. Respawns get annoying sometimes (shades of NG3). I don't mind fighting oodles of enemies at once, but if I've won the fight I should be able to move on right away.

Master Ninja is effectively done, just have the last boss gauntlet. Pretty tough overall, but not as bad as a first time God Hard run. Taz didn't go for NUR+. Shouldn't be THAT bad once you have the DCTF.

The timer takes a hit for each kill they have to their credit (that helps as well).

Very good. It won't matter much for boss runs, but should curve general exploring well enough.

Not so much PTDE.

I'd like to see Lobos do some Sorcery/Pyromancy only boss kills, to see how well an optimized caster could compete with melee. Doubt they could get away with killing only one king, just because of the cast time between spells.

Level up 'agility' and just roll around in heavy gear like a fruit again.

Make some nice room in our inventory for the Cling Ring. Can't be fragile in a Souls game.

It would almost seem like she would be against their guarding of some of her followers

Oh? Who's that?

On the other hand, she seems to be fine associating with Gwyndolin

Why are all the women fascinated by tentacles?

SL1 to limit himself might be just enough.

Sounds reasonable.

Instead one has to settle for 'great magic barrier' just 'taking pollution down to zero'.

We must all do our part to help the environment. What happens when global warming starts again?

If he was ignorant of that primordial crystal, he wouldn't have been able to do it.

Which makes one wonder why Seathe stayed so close to it...

Great Magic barrier might crap all over the damage from the punish anyway.

Probably.

Velka trumping her own spells

The only thing that beats Velka is Velka.

Like TWoP becoming the infamous TWoD

Too bad there's not a weapon with Vow of Silence.

Mocking him endlessly would be in-character.

Also, standing down for SSG *despite being acknowledged as superior*.

>Magnetro

Good use of infinite jumps, juggles and breaking states. AotF to slow time, launching then returning a projectile was brilliant.

What could be more important in this genre?

Navigation. Action fans are secretly racin fans, just bad at it.

until he allowed Vegetto

His mistake being transforming them back from a jawbreaker.

They would probably have had him instantly know to 'blow' it away

It'd be amusing to see a kai blast turned into rock candy.

Unless Vegeta learns of this and acts out to score Hell rather than oblivion (which would become a reward as such).

Goku's worst nightmare. How will he rationalize SS3's loss in a dead body in the land of the dead? Won't even have the Sun in his eyes.

He seems opposed to the magical arts.

He'll love Warrior. Assassin might be too OP for his tastes.

He is demonstrating a supreme disregard for them so far.

Even the offensive ones?

It was.

Yet, BoC is what made it in. I look forward to the swimming boss.

Saw a guy with the sense to use low level NG+7 not just to test their summons (getting them raped), but to test invaders (Undead Rapport).  Even better, he got himself Gravelorded to make Black Phantoms the enemy of the invader.  Imagine their surprise.  Plenty of other neat 'PvP' troll videos out there.  Wish there was more such antics for PvE (recorded).  Saw LobosJR do a Mimic Head No Heal run.  He did a New Game Gravelorded (all bosses) run tonight (while I was at work).  I'll be watching it shortly.

>how good they should be

Maybe with a bit more stamina cost (not a lot) considering the damage and hit property in these cases. They're not stupid broke like TWoD though.  That's something that should auto-break a weapon when used.

>spiffy

I liked the dagger special with the Hammer for a launcher.

>never hear the end of it

The boy tanks too much, blocks too little and relies on his dodgy use of a decent miracle.  He was no match for a proper tank playing to his strengths.  Solaire forgets he may be strong under that crap, but his gear is just that.  Crap.  Nothing special.

>should be

Indeed.  Like a great many other things.  Mods allow 'debug'.  Why not give it to players as a special unlock so we can control bosses and such?  Take it offline (or have it in a seperate pool for summons/invades).  Whatever.  It's neat.  Same for unlocking cut things that still 'work' even if they're not balanced (like the Ring of Condemnation, Escape Death, etc.).  Just keep it out of 'fair play'.

>green skin and cestus

Double Dragon Bone fist would help.

>in large groups

Even more so if he hacked it to fire in all directions like he did with Dragon Greatsword's special (combined with DKGA's special).  I saw a Karmic Justice variant that activates a Chaos Firestorm on us when enough hits land.  I'd like for the opposite with Firestorm causing 'hits' to spread around as Karmic Justice (or just have them explode all over).  Would also work for Gravelord Sworddance.  The more KJ explosions, the better.  Why not an Emit Karmic Justice Force?  Pursuers or HCSM with each exploding like Karmic Justice?  Justice for All, I say.

>respawns like NG3

Burrr.

>Sorcery Only or Pyromancy Only

I watched him do a simple "Soul Spear" (and only that low level spell) run from start to finish.  He didn't work with the better stuff at all.  As for Pyromancy, I only recall him doing Pyroglove punch only (no actual casting).  Miracles were the only run where he seemed to try a few things regarding non-melee options.  I think he just finds them really boring (too easy).

>compete with melee

Probably far exceed it with RTSR, PW, Dragon rings, Dusk Crown, TCC, RoSFB, etc. to buff the s*** out of them.  Dark Bead is all you need regarding insane damage, but the basics alone can get him to the point where he could get that.

>who's that

Those Crow Demons are some followers of Velka.  Many of her tools, spells, etc. are locked away in the Painted World along with the Dark Ember (for Occult *god killing* weapons) and Life Hunt related things.  Even some dragons.  Priscilla is a half-breed (possible heir to royalty) of their old enemies while wielding Life Hunt (not unlike the heretical 4 Kings and the Dark Wraiths).  Velka may be the crow that takes us from the Asylum to go and dispense Justice in Lordran.  Hard to say: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yL0n1S6_VgM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EWqemAcoxk&t=5m15s

>tentacles

More likely a fan of traps.  He has breasts, you know.

>why so close

To be fair, he was actually in his room in the Archive, but rushed down to it when he saw us arrive at the chamber.  A better question, why wouldn't he do more to seal that area?  A bunch of clams are the last line of defense?  Not like he has an army of 'butterflies' aggro'd at all times while people cross his invisible platforms.  They do nothing and Crystal Golems are ineffective.  Where were the Channelers and Crystal Hollows in all this?  Especially the Channelers.  A hidden side path leading to a higher area with a Channeler (or two) would be good *as with Gaping Dragon getting buffed*.  None of his crazy Piscas were around at all nor even those related to Curse (Basilisks).  He had snakemen in his employ too.  He basically left it undefended should someone get through the archives. That IS mad.

>Vow of Silence R2

Would have been dandy.  Same for a lesser Karmic Justice R2 and so on.  Make those R2's count (eat that durability up).

>secret fans of non-Action

You know it.  More puzzles, adventure, RPG elements, etc. are a must.

>returning their form

Very foolish, indeed.  He couldn't project energy like that.  Just hitting him to death didn't seem like it could KILL Buuhan.

>how will Goku excuse the inevitable loss string

No one will ever know of it. Unless Vegeta makes a deal with some magic user to peer into Hell and show off the beatings.

>love Warrior

Maybe.  He might fancy speed and blocking for a bit.  We'll see how he advances when he gets back to the game.  His plans for October are light in Dark Souls (heavy on 'horror games').

>Assassin too OP

It is, but he won't know that before hand.  It'll very quickly become obvious.

>even the offensive ones

He doesn't open the menu yet.  He will.  He only played three hours.  Lots of talking and other nonsense slowing down the actual 'play'.

>what made it in

>look forward to swimming boss

Fighting the boss in an area like flooded Upper New Londo?  A boss that swims around and uses 'force' and such to blast you off the platforms in the shallow water (into the depths)?  That sort of thing?

EDIT

Saw the Gravelord run.  Amusing.  There was talk of Dead Space run work for his horror streams.  Plasma Cutter only was suggested.  Then Melee Only.  "Dude, screw that." - LobosJr  I told him how PC only for VH isn't a big deal (NUR+ helps spice it up).  That and VH No-Gun NUR+ is the only real run I did in DS1 (while leaving off after the Pack in Ch.3 for the same run in DS2 *got distracted and never came back; plans were lost when alt.TUGOWU and vet board went down*).  Melee-Only would be pretty ridiculous.

Found some neat Sam speed runs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoKU4Bm0URU

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JO0CUzPnIlU

Subweapon power makes sense, since Sam's charge attacks are on par with Raiden's unupgraded Quick Draw. He's done some S Rank Raiden runs too, but uses Wigs. Boss fights make good use of Perfect Parry and Pincers.

Imagine their surprise.

Gankers beware. Megamule isn't the only trick in town anymore.

Saw LobosJR do a Mimic Head No Heal run.

Bonfires allowed? Hotel would approve.

Maybe with a bit more stamina cost (not a lot) considering the damage and hit property in these cases.

Fair enough. Some should be more stamina efficient than the primary, others not. It'd really help the weapons stand out.

He was no match for a proper tank playing to his strengths.

Not so jolly without your co-op, are you?

Crap. Nothing special.

The Sunlight Straight Sword got nuthin on the Balder Swag.

Why not give it to players as a special unlock so we can control bosses and such?

They'd need some lore first.

Take it offline (or have it in a seperate pool for summons/invades).

Could be part of that 'arena' we discussed.

I saw a Karmic Justice variant that activates a Chaos Firestorm on us when enough hits land.

Any 'empty' Karmic Justice that activated other spells when hit (bypassing cast time) would be nice. Surprised no shield has a KJ variant.

The more KJ explosions, the better.

KJ Great Canon and Ruinous Sigil (with them feeding each other)? Or channeling it for constant explosions?

Justice for All, I say.

"What's more fun than fighting crime?"-Batman

Burrr.

Started NUR+. Should have carried over Lv. 1 weapons for a first time through. Oh well. Ratetsu (or rather, his friends) gave me some grief. Can't do s*** on the ground, no ID, no 360ET. Relied on Lunar air x,y and got lucky with a DS UT (took out half his health). The IS ninjas get targeting priority unless you're going for a OT/FS, both of which the Ratetsu is immune to. Opening gauntlet of CH 2 may take some time, no good response for the dogs without Lunar 360 attacks, and there's three waves of ninjas beforehand. The guy who did the Sigma version used FS, but only had to deal with three dogs.

I think he just finds them really boring (too easy).

Not surprising. One or two boss fights would be enough of a showcase.

Probably far exceed it with RTSR, PW, Dragon rings, Dusk Crown, TCC, RoSFB, etc. to buff the s*** out of them.

This fellow hits Manus and Ceaseless Discharge for the same amount with CSS and Dark Bead, but twice as hard with Dark Bead against the Four Kings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Kl8CiURuII

Dark Bead is all you need regarding insane damage

High INT isn't necessary, is it? Just high DEX and enough INT to use it. This needs to stay for DaS2. I didn't care for offensive Sorcery in vanilla DaS2. More effects beyond bolts are desired. Fire should help with that.

Velka may be the crow that takes us from the Asylum to go and dispense Justice in Lordran.

The gods are immortal, correct?

>the Lords fear Velka

Like the Furies?

>Priscilla is lethal to the gods

Is that the work of the Lifehunt?

He has breasts, you know.

But if that's true...which one's the sister?

A bunch of clams are the last line of defense?

Those were no ordinary clams.

Not like he has an army of 'butterflies' aggro'd at all times while people cross his invisible platforms.

Speaking of which, why ARE their platforms to his only weakness?

Where were the Channelers and Crystal Hollows in all this?

Union break.

None of his crazy Piscas were around at all nor even those related to Curse (Basilisks).

>basilisks

>guarding the crystal

No wonder Gwyn never tried to kill him.

Make those R2's count (eat that durability up).

Not like they're good for damage.

More puzzles, adventure, RPG elements, etc. are a must.

The real difficulty comes from tolerating them more than once.

Just hitting him to death didn't seem like it could KILL Buuhan.

Not as candy. We've seen some Buus where out to physical blows when extremely outclassed (Super Buu against Gohan, Mr. Buu against Kid Buu). SS2 Vegetto might have been able to pull it off. Someone in Supes's class surely would.

No one will ever know of it.

Goku would. And the villains.

>horror games

Not many good ones left, unless he fancies RE4 replays.

Lots of talking and other nonsense slowing down the actual 'play'.

"Blah blah blah just punch em."-The Atom

That sort of thing?

We have to swim over to harm them, NG style. Because all combat is viable in Action.

That and VH No-Gun NUR+ is the only real run I did in DS1

I'd imagine it was rather interesting.

>Sam speedrun

According to my 'like', I've already watched both.  I watched pretty much everything by this guy.

>Bonfires allowed

This time, yes.

>variety would help

Imagine that.  Variety with some thought put into it anyway.

>not so jolly

There's no Sun where he's going...

>need lore

From Soft, pls.

>arena

They already made one for PvP.  Why not do it for the real star of the show (PvE)?

>any 'empty KJ' with another cast would be nice

Yeah, maybe.  Except perhaps 'Seek Guidance'. *hohoho*  Maybe it combined the messages with a 3D map display and a line pointing the damn way.

>started the NUR+

Brave and Bold.  Batman would approve.

>different damage

Different resistances.  Dark works different than other spells if I recall correctly.

>gods are immortal

And yet they can still die.  Also, a theory exists that implies Velka is the mother of Priscilla.  It's apparently her statue by Priscilla's Chamber, the Harpies (deluded followers of Velka) are protecting this area for no clear reason and Priscilla prattles on about how the 'residents are kind' (she lives their willingly as a guard of the exit rather than by force *she is a taboo existence though*).  They're kind.  Too her.  And she might only be referring to the Crow Demons since she doesn't stray much.

>like the Furies

Furies, Fates, etc.  GoW doesn't do a good job selling it.  Velka is a proper goddess. Not some 'giant' who got a 'lord soul' to power it up.  She knows spells old and new.  Gathers the occult weapons so that even the divine may receive punishment and judgement as she deems appropriate.  She's a suped up Nemesis.

>work of Lifehunt

Presumably.  Without it, she shouldn't be a problem.  She isn't a capable fighter, she lacks the scales of immortality, etc.  Her role was diminished (same with Andre, Oscar, Shiva, etc.) before the game released.

>which one is the sister

He's still the brother.  But with breasts (and snakes for legs).

>no ordinary clams

True.  They are a source of cures for curse.

>why

To give his enemies a fighting chance?  He IS mad, you know.

>not good for damage

Sometimes they are just stupidly dedicated animations with silly animations.  Hit nothing, leave you open, huge stamina use, etc.

>good ones left

He's more going 'back' to them.  Not playing recent things.  He tried 'Machine for Pigs' (speedrun).  He's looking for some 'good' horror.  He'll play a few bad ones too (for giggles).

>rather interesting

At times, quite so.  In the end, I had a stockpile of items and money.  Most of which I would never need.  It is better to have been ultra conservative than liberal though.  Made for far better tactics, more challenge, etc.

Ending of Breaking Bad was pretty predictable. They let their success go to their heads. Korra threatens to kill an old man because she disagrees with his verdict, starts a war then sides with traitors. Never thought an ass could be so unappealing.

Variety with some thought put into it anyway.

I iz hardcore cuz I mash teh buttonz.

There's no Sun where he's going...

Plenty of fire, though.

Why not do it for the real star of the show (PvE)?

See previous answer.

Maybe it combined the messages with a 3D map display and a line pointing the damn way.

Straight to the basilisks.

Brave and Bold.

My tactics for the opening CH2 fight (ran like Hell). Taz probably hasn't done one since he doesn't like using items, which isn't practical with high chip and bad UTs for the first few chapters.

And yet they can still die.

But the dragons couldn't so long as they had their scales, correct?

Also, a theory exists that implies Velka is the mother of Priscilla.

She's certainly seems fond of her. Maybe protecting her weapons against the gods *not wanting anyone to escape the painted world with something important*. Do hope we have a go at Allfather Lloyd. His hatred of the undead and specialty fighting them would make a good foil for the Dark Soul. He (nor Velka) bothered with the dragons.

GoW doesn't do a good job selling it.

If we got one in a proper numbered title...

She's a suped up Nemesis.

Approaching Nyx, from the sounds of it. She doesn't fear the Dark Soul or care about the age of fire/darkness.

Her role was diminished (same with Andre, Oscar, Shiva, etc.) before the game released.

They must have been rushed towards the end, judging by that and the patch.

>snakes for legs

Now I'm really confused.

They are a source of cures for curse.

And Seathe didn't curse everyone before charging them out the ass for the cure?

He IS mad, you know.

If that's true, why is he the only one running around naked?

He's looking for some 'good' horror.

RE6?

He'll play a few bad ones too (for giggles).

I'd expect as much.

It is better to have been ultra conservative than liberal though. Made for far better tactics, more challenge, etc.

Just so. It's better for the game not be balanced with them (DMC, Bayonetta).

>predictable

Yet some seem to like it.

>Korra

I was put off with her more so than usual.  The annoying girlfriend behavior and bratty student was bad enough (along with her being played like a violen), but her threatening to kill a JUDGE, attacking and threatening him death for information and working alongside 'traitors' without having remembered to consult the 'capital' about what's going on first...she's not going through the appropriate channels.

>unappealing ass

Korra finds a way.

>button mashing

I've been helping Tid gives some boys trouble on that front.

>straight to the basilisks

My only regret is that they don't poise break and knock people around while spreading the curse fog around.  Resistance to curse builds up so incredibly FAST...and PC apparently doesn't allow curse stacking from what I'm told.

>preference against items

Unnecessary extra conditions.

>unkillable with scales

Correct.  The ever-lasting dragons, anyway.  Even Kalameet isn't one of them.  Gaping was of that class (not the real deal), but corrupted further (degrading via gluttony).  Drakes are the feral weaklings.

>seems fond

If indeed that is her statue with a child held and the harpies are appointed there as her friends and protectors.

>Llyod

We've much business to discuss if he's a proper god like Velka.

>good foil

Quite.

>didn't bother with dragons

Didn't seem to be something that concerned them.  Just the Giants that found the Lord's Soul (splitting it between them).  The pretenders among 'gods'.

>doesn't fear the Dark Soul

Seems like that may be the case.  May not be concerned one way or the other.  It just seems like a natural cycle.  Fire (Light) just appears from nothing, spreads and overtakes the dark...then Dark puts out the light.  Seems like Gwyn didn't want to have to weather the storm (taking turns).

>RE6

>good horror

You bet.

>better to not balance

Given the genre, yes.

Yet some seem to like it.

It's massively overhyped for just being good. I disliked how they moved away from the original premise (he doesn't teach or worry about cancer). Gus ate up too much of the show (two seasons and the end of another). The Nazis came too late and the finale was wasted on them (third string characters who had little to do with Walt). They could have handled Hank vs Walt much better. Went from having nothing to 'boom, we got em'. Also, Walt being exposed and becoming infamous offscreen. At least Skyler and Marie were consistent at having no redeeming value.

The annoying girlfriend

Who used to be a bald, old man.

along with her being played like a violen

A usually desirable trait for a woman. How does she do it?

but her threatening to kill a JUDGE,

As the Avatar, who should be a role model, remain neutral, and maintain order. Instead, she abuses it (as it's the only reason she's relevant to anyone).

attacking and threatening him death for information

Why haven't more picked up on this? IGN compared her to Jack Bauer...but he wasn't a criminal, was acting legitimately (to her knowledge), and his verdict wasn't unreasonable (he lessened it). He couldn't bend to defend himself, and she waited until he was alone. That 'might makes right' attitude got Ozai stripped of his power and life in prison. Batman would put her down without hesitation.

working alongside 'traitors'

Varrick needs to be written out. Immediately. If only to make room for more Bolin 'humor'. Also, what the Hell is Asami doing?

without having remembered to consult the 'capital' about what's going on first

Who was her mentor five minutes ago. I like how she had to resort to airbending to overpower her uncle (as he hasn't been exposed to it much). Surely, this whole spirit thing can't backfire.

unappealing ass

Figuratively speaking, of course.

I've been helping Tid gives some boys trouble on that front.

Oh?

Resistance to curse builds up so incredibly FAST

From equipment?

Even Kalameet isn't one of them.

He affiliated with Gwyn? Does it explain where these new dragons (like Hellkite) came from? Without a Lord soul, challenging a proper one is likely outside our ability.

Gaping was of that class (not the real deal), but corrupted further (degrading via gluttony).

How'd he get locked in a cistern?

We've much business to discuss if he's a proper god like Velka.

He's Gwyn's uncle. Gwyn might have been a demigod in comparison (not unlike the jumps between generations of deities in Greek myth *Primordials to Titans, Olympians to nymphs, etc*).

The pretenders among 'gods'.

The real ones being true immortals.

Fire (Light) just appears from nothing, spreads and overtakes the dark...then Dark puts out the light.

Not unlike the universe.

Seems like Gwyn didn't want to have to weather the storm (taking turns).

He should run for Congress.

Given the genre, yes.

It can be alright in RPGs for a character who specializes in combining items for unique effects.
