I wasn't talking about your region, I was referencing your region by a tenuous link to a song in a children's movie. I also referenced my region, which wasn't "talking about" it either.

The fact that we obviously don't understand each other.  You understand the words, but the words aren't what I meant.  The images conjured up by the words and their association with popular culture are what were being referenced.

And even calling Aladdin "before your time" wasn't much of an insult, as it was probably out for the better part of a decade before you were old enough to start remembering things and I have no clue if Disney is as big for kids on other continents as it is here.

Edit:  And perhaps the best evidence that I meant no offense is that I'm explaining myself.  If offense was my intent, I'd have just rolled with it and trolled you harder.

Can't really say.  I never understood the appeal of Mickey Mouse (on that note).  Looney Tunes and the like are clearly more entertaining.

As is tempting.  I relented out of respect for Lord despite his silly behavior getting himself caught by 'kratos'.  I did all I could for him.  He's dialed back his temper a bit with the years.  I've spent much time explaining how letting one's weakpoints shine through obviously and playing upon emotion to extremes doesn't help here.  Especially not against proper trolls who will continue to exploit the weakness.

Poor guy with a heart of gold (and a monkey).  Princess who wants to marry for love and see more of the world than palace walls (with her tiger).  Jerkass advisor to the sultan wants to rule (will use the princess).  Jerkass knows of a lamp, but needs a certain street rat thief to get it for him.  He sets him up, but the boy gets the Genie.  Tries to impress the girl (succeeds when more honest).  Jerkass tries to kill everyone and fails hilariously.  Genie gets freed and leaves.  Poor guy gets with the rich girl.  Forbidden love across classes ensues.  The tiger mauls him.  The end.
