Here you can discuss movies and also talk about movies we watched recently.

I know this is a music union, but I thought I'd make a thread for those that want to talk about movies.

I haven't seen Reality Bites in years, but when I first saw it, it was really good.

I Am Legend, I saw that on in theaters just for the Batman 6 minutes we got for free at the Imax.

I haven't seen Jack-Ass 3-D.

Was the book better?

-------------

Being sleepless again lead me to re-watching a movie I saw in the theaters .  It was equally as terribly good.

Love this movie. Everyone talks about Eastwood, but Lee Van Cleef is the best.

Last watched Mulholland Drive, has an interesting mystery for about two hours before it goes into Lynch's usual love of strange and surrealism (not that I mind, I enjoy his take on surreal :P).

The most recent movie I watched was Easy A. I liked it more than I expected. I kept putting it off but finally decided to try it.

Mulholland Drive was my third favourite movie last time I checked. I haven't watched it in 5+ years, though, because I'm waiting for a region B Blu-ray release. Maybe it's been released and I haven't noticed.

A whole bunch of Lynch's films have been remastered and rereleased on dvd and blu-ray, but I'm not sure Mulholland Drive's one of them saddly. I could be wrong though.

I've been watching some movies on MUBI. So far I've watched:

The Magic Gloves
Deep Red
They All Lie
I Love Beijing
Demons

Nothing I really like so far but I've been taking a few risks at the start. And I've almost finished Demons 2, which I prefer to the first.

White House Down.  Just good dumb fun.  I had a big ol' smile on my face by the end.
