I rather talk to someone on the phone:) I just don't text, it takes much longer to get a conversation across. I rather talk for half an hour to an hour than text the whole day with a few short burts. I don'twant to stop every few moments to reply to a text.
It just depends on your preferences I suppose. I just never got into the whole texting thing:)
When I see people texting I have an overwhelming urge to take their phone and crush it with my bare hands until it's no longer recognizable as a phone. :twisted:mariostar0001I know what you mean:P
Everyone texts here while they drive and we've almost been in a few accidents due to that.
People suck here at driving in general so it just makes it worse XD
I don't own a cellphone, nor do I have any plans to obtain one in the future.EvillordexdeathWell, they do come in handy.
For an emergency as an example;) I rarely use mine but I'm glad I have one.
I don't want to get stranded somewhere if my car ever breaks down...wait, i don't have a car:|
Well, It's still a valid example! XD
I know. Everything can be negative is you go too far using it. Texts have a positive side, easier to communicate with others when the information is short, jokes and such.papermariofan57Yeah, or when It's something important.
My Dad texts but only for his work to tell something to someone quickly.
It's just not very convenient for me because when I DID text my friend kept texting for quite a while and usually when i was busy.

That's when you simply don't text back. That's why texting is better cause with calls you have to come up with an excuse to get off, with texts you just stop[QUOTE="Munchgun"]Yeah, or when It's something important.[QUOTE="papermariofan57"]I know. "Texting is better" is an opinion, not fact. I don't like it, it's good to have at times but for the most part It's annoying unless you have to send something quick and important. Yeah, I have texted, I used to text I'm not just saying stuff. I never come up with excuses on the phone, if I have to go I say I have to go.
This is just my opinion so please don't bash me for it:P
EDIT: I know I sound like an a-hole, sorry D: I was just trying to explain why I don't like it. I can understand why others would, I'm not telling everyone it's dumb or anything. I'm just giving my personal thoughts(my opinion) so it would be silly to get angry about it:)
i dont have a phone
and i agree with munch
texting is overrated
and to me and probaly to a few
i rather hear a voice instead of words and ncomplete sentences.and to me iff you want to talk to someone go to them if there close to you and call them if here more long distance
sorry i think texting is too overated
Well I Have This Horrendously bad phone so not very often!
It cost me £5 ($9) :| I never use phones that often, I normally use my ipod touch for games and this when I need to call mum or text a friend to arrange something. I get 300 free texts a month if I top up £10 ($18). Thats perfectly fine for me because I only use about 12 of them
I loathe texting but my girlfriend got me a bit used to it since that's the only way I could communicate during work hours. Still hate it though, as i'd rather talk on the phone for hours than text someone for a minute. On average I'd say I send around 30-150 texts a day. It's pretty annoying.
Otherwise I use my phone for talking (big surprise) and listening to music. Also use it as my alarm.
I don't need no stinkin MP3. My phone IS one.Soniczero1993Wheres the 90's kid from inside you? The one that should be using Portable CD/Cassete players?
:( You have changed, man.
