Im done with life. *Slits wrists*
I guess smashing a team that another team lost to on the road means lots?CJL13
Texas lost on the road in a last second miracle catch. Oklahoma is a beast at home. On the road? No. Texas Tech beat Oklahoma last year in Lubbock, goes to show you. Did you see the OU game yesterday? Defense is horrible on the road/neutral field. Why do you think Stoop is 0-5 in his last 5 BCS games. This is a joke. People talk about playoffs and what not....umm what happens in a playoff? You go head to head! Texas 45-Oklahoma 35 on Neutral field. Bottom line.Â
Oklahoma is horrible in the BCS, I guess they want the SEC to have an automatic national title.
And I think I'll slit my wrists as well again.

Yes, but a playoff system would own this BCS bulls**t. Bottom line. Just look at the FCS and Divisions II and III. They've all had a playoff system since the beginning and it works. But all because the upper management people of the FBS are more worried about money instead of the game these days, we have this useless, pointless, and ridiculous BCS.
Look, I'm not a big fan of Texas (never have been and never will be). But I'm sure as hell disgusted as much as anyone else to see OU at #2. Texas owns OU (which is obvious: 45-35).
Espurs, when you look at it this way, you'll really be pissed. The Big 12 screws up in this regard. The tie-breaker that was used to send OU to the CCG is the BCS. What makes up 1/3 of the BCS poll? The coaches poll. So, in essence, the Big 12 (in this instance) allows the coaches of the other BCS conferences to determine their team(s) that play for the conference title. Now how is a coach from another conference really gonna have any idea as to whom is better between those three teams?
This is why I hate the coaches poll being used what-so-ever. Those coaches attention, at least should, be payed on their own team and not on anyone that isn't on their upcoming schedule.

Absolutely and amen.
I will third that.
But sith, most conferences use the BCS as a tie breaker. The B12 takes all 3 teams into concideration. I hear the Pac10 drops the lowest ranked team and goes with the head-to-head with the two higher ranked teams. Ex: USC loses this weekend. 3 way tie for Pac10 championship. OSU is lowest ranked so they are dropped. USC beat Oregon. USC wins Pac10. I do find it funny how people just dropped Tech like nothing. This is how ALL rankings fail, lose early or don't lose at all.
As quoted in the article, "This was a perfect storm." No one wins. I am starting to get tired of this whole thing. The team that is suppose to go (according to the rules), is going. 3 teams have the SAME record. Maybe one of these teams shouldn't have lost.bjvb15
I agree, they should erase the UT loss completely. It was a fluke all the way.
