Super Mario 3D Land Discussion: Released!

There will be a new Super Mario Bros. for the 3DS system in 2011. This title will be an combination of Super Mario Galaxy and Super 64. Sounds great to me. I really enjoyed the Super Mario Galaxy series, and Super Mario 64 is my favorite game of all time. Check out this article for more information. What are your thoughts and feelings on this upcoming Mario title?

I kinda don't get it, SM64 and SMG are kinda the same (I know it's not exactly) but I guess it could be interesting. Maybe going into different worlds in which has different themes and has its own boss at the end.

I also wish there were screen shots.

I though the Tanooki Suit allowed you to fly and turn into a statue. :|

To me it actually looks more like a mixture of the Super Mario Bros games and Super Mario Galaxy. Or maybe even just a Super Mario Bros game only with a 3D perspective. It looks awesome though anyways.

Which is all the better, I think. I can't wait for the game. 

The game looks great, but the only thing I'm worried about is the camera system.  It seems like it's static.  I hope I can manipulate it in some form or another.

Wow, that early? By the time it comes to the US, I probably still wouldn't have a 3DS yet. 

Probably some ethusiastic Europeans made it up.

I think it was announced at the 2011 Game Developer's Conference.

You know how I said I still probably wouldn't have a 3DS by the time this game comes out? Well, I actually have one now. I managed to get a few days ago. Now I'll have to try pick this game up right on release day.TAMKFan

The only game that I've gotten on release day in recent memory is Super Mario Galaxy 2. I am almost just as excited for 3D Land as I was for SMG2, but I still want to wait on it until Christmas. :P

I don't like wait on games because you build them up in your mind so much once you buy them, your expections are so high you are let down. This happens to me every time i get a game on day one or any game you gave me more than a month to thing about :| This is my life story :lol: :P

Yeah, i wish they would give you a week to think if you want to buy it or not, then release it the same week :lol:
