Stars you're struggling/ have struggled with

For me, I hard time trying to get that Prankster star where you had to kill all those spineys with star power in one minute.  Took forever for me to find the perfect route.

I just now struggled with the Purple Coin Sprint Flip Jump star... :|

I'm stuck on the first star in the Melty Monster galaxy. :cry: I can never get myself up to the launch star in the beginning with the pull stars! :cry:GamerofMario1

i just beat that stage, so i can help.

the trick is to go to the pull star BELOW the one closest to the launch star. then once you're there, you gotta click on the star closest to the launch star but DO NOT hold down the A button. if you do this then you will move slowly towards the launch star.

It was too hard to control.  Plus, sometimes, he wouldn't jump when I wanted to jump.

I'm going to use this opportunity to backpedal about my frustrations with SMG2. Apparently, I just suck. I tried again after I ate dinner, and did it on my first try. Yeah.. I just suck. *humbles self*

correction: there are no perfect games

"no 10 games" is the wrong way to say it.

and the spring controls really aren't that bad. you just gotta press the A button when the spring is squashed to the ground.

timing is the key.

I agree with this. There never was and there will never be a perfect game. But having a 10 and not using it is just stupid.

I have 112 stars! I'm stuck on World S, the second level, the prankster comet. its another slide purple coin level but this time, your on a ball with the star inside and you have a time limit and its a harder track and THERE ARE ONLY 110 COINS TOTAL!elicik

it's not alot at all. you have to get 100 out of the 110 coins.

yes, but trust me, the time isn't the thing you should be worrying about.

I just did the second Chimp challenge where he has you jumping on Octorock things, the one where you  had to get a score of 10,000.  I was prepared to really struggle with this one, since I did with the first, but I lucked out and did it on my first try.  :P

Yeah, but not the prankster star! It took me a record 6 lives to beat it.
