Favorite Super Smash Bros?

This was an extremely hard decision for me since these are all some of my favorite games of all-time.

I think I'll go with Melee only because it was the one that I played the longest, for sure over 250 hours :P

The only reason I vote Melee is because I have to base it on how much I played at the certain time period and how revolutionary it was at the time. Melee was for me the spark that made a more simple Super Smah Bros 64 into a whole new demension of fighting in games. It offered a huge character and stage selection and a very wide variety of new modes.

Also I think that Super Smash Bros 64 and Super Smash Bros Melee is were the more difficult challenges are. I thought Brawl was the easiest of the three unless you played it on hard or above, but it still wasn't as nearly as difficult as hard or above on the first two. Like 9 hard on Brawl is definately not as difficult as 9 hard on Melee. I think Brawl was the most complete in the series and offers the most variety and advances than the other two. Plus, Melee had a few glitches which were fixed in Brawl which made even more smooth gameplay than it origanially was. I think the game mechanics in both are pretty different although they both revolve on the same concept. If you analyze all three closely you can see that Super Smash bros 64 and Melee had both way faster gameplay and was easier to get quick kills. Brawl was slowed down a bit which made the glitches that were caused by the really fast gameplay fixed. Also Brawl had the best graphics, but I can't say that matters because it was the latest title and the latest always gets the most tech put into it. Brawl also put The Subspace Emissary, Boss Battles, and a few other modes that made it that much more exceptionally better. I would definately rate all these games 10 out of 10 with my eyes closed :D They are for me the best fighting games ever created. Anywase that's enough talking for now :P

In conclusion I vote Melee due to its amazement for its time period :)

The only one I played is Brawl so I voted for it.

I understand where you are coming from, everyone has diferent opinions, but I get what you are saying. Like I said I think brawl is the best of the three, but the only reason I voted melee was because of how much I played it at the time :P

So it seems like nobody like Smash Bros 64...

 i like it, it's just that brawl is AWESOME, but i have to admit that mario is MUCH stronger in 64 than the other 2. they should have gave mario his hammer instead of frigin fludd.

Its true. they should make him a little stronger. Shouldn't let the other guys be stronger. Its like on Sport games, Cover boy is the strongest! Make Mario Stronger.

 So you are choosing Brawl? 

Brawl was the best, because it advanced everything.

But, Super Smash Bros started it all, and Melee advanced it really good in just 2 years!:o

WHAT??? I am the ONLY person who voted super smash bros 64? that was the best one of all. melee had WAy too fast gampley and brawl was a bit slow. Melee and brawl gave unfair udvantanges to certian carachters with side specials. The original game(i got it on VC) was definently the best one of allelicik

brawl has so much more and is so much funmikeonearth

And the story mode in Brawl, sorta ruined the surprises of getting new characters.
