This remake of Super Mario All-Stars that was originally released on the SNES, is heading to Wii. It also includes a historical CD and booklet to Mario's 25th Anniversary. The price for this collection is only $29.99. It released yesterday 12/12/10.

I bought it yesterday. Preordering stuff is easier that way you don't have to fight over them at the store like animals.

I already have SMB1 and SMB3 on Virtual Console. Which means I would only be getting this for SMB2 and Lost Levels. I would just rent it for now, I guess.

I got it on release and just started it today. It's pretty lackluster. They didn't even have the decency to make the graphics wide screen. There's not much at all to the history booklet, and honestly, they should have included Super Mario World as well. Basically, this was something they were planning on putting on the VC for 800 points, but then turned around and thought, "Wow, you know what? I beat you if we make a cheap a little history book and CD soundtrack to go with it, we can charge people 30 dollars for this!"

Now that I think about it, they should have remade all these games again for the Wii, rather than just emulating the SNES versions. That would have been cool.
