What if Zelda oot never happened?

would it

a) come out for gamecube with kick-ass graphics! yet it would be a sleeper hit!

or

b) people would say majoras mask is the best zelda ever!

or

c) people give up on zelda entirely

or

 d) everyone would want to see an older version of link and he would not be in SSB or SC2!

OR

e) all of the above/other!

once again, kind of an awkward topic... but I'll check here just to see what happens. I believe there would be fewer fans of the series and more would be demanded from Nintendo. People would be shocked when TP would come out and stuff. then the series would EXPLODE. instead of earlier.

or the ideas would stop because of no more fans. I don't know...

Regardless of my question, I would say that we would be looking at a series that has as much popularity as the Metriod series. Not overwhelming, but there are fans.

A sleeper hit is a game that is pretty good that not many people know about. Games that don't sell well and become underappreciated. Some game examples are Beyond Good & Evil, Ikaruga, Alien Hominid, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Racing Gears Advance, etc.

The Zelda team would probably be smaller than it is now and they'd most likely be doing something else.  The timeline would be forever different.morbious17

The Ocarina of Time team consisted of about 50 people and it took them nearly 3 years to develop it.

If OoT never happened, would Link have went to Termina?  And if he did, how would he have seen Zelda, got the ocarina, and rode Epona?morbious17

Hrrrrrrrrrmmm... If OoT never happened, I don't think I would be such a big fan of video games. OoT was one of the first video games I've owned, and when I finished OoT, I expected all video games to be as good :Psoccerjosh
