What if they made 3D versions of the 2D games?

I think it could work. I would really like to see A Link to the Past in 3D, with TP-like graphics. Just imagine it: Link standing atop the Pyramid of Power in the Dark World right after the fight with Agahnim in Hyrule Castle. Link looks out over the twisted Sacred Realm, aghast at the evil. Then he looks to the north, to see Death Mountain, leagues and leagues away. Ganon's Tower a speck on it's surface.

I would like to see 3D remakes of all the 2D Zeldas. I think the Oracle games would be pretty good.

Of course, the worlds would have to be remodled, but that wouldn't bother me.

I have always wanted to see Alttp in 3D. The dark world should be brought to its full glory.

It could be pulled off.  However, I'm sure there will be PLENTY of opposition to the project.  Damn, fanboys!

Nintendo could "dispose" of this opposition so that everyone is on the same page.

They had better.  LoZ was great fun, but as far as story goes, it was weak.  UNOwen802

Amen for that.If  nintendo is making remakes,they aren´t making new zeldas.
