The standards of a leader to choose someone to become an officer isn't the same in every Union. In one union, the leader could make an officer people that post once a day, or in an other union, the officer would make an officer people who posts 20 posts a day. It all depends on the what kind of person a leader wants as an officer. Usually you dont make tons of them, being an officer is a privilege and they must be very active in the Union or the leader could demote them. Oh, and usually the largest Union will have the highest standards.
We have officer applications every once in a while. At the current time, we are not accepting new officer applications. If we were, you would see a stickied thread in which you could apply.

Not all unions have applications. This is something The Legend of Zelda Union does. The leader has the ability to make whoever he chooses an officer though.

Not all unions have applications. This is something The Legend of Zelda Union does. The leader has the ability to make whoever he chooses an officer though.
I like the election way better. It makes it more fair to everyone who applies. Though for smaller unions I can see how the leader promoting recruits at any time would work though.

Just as long as there is still a decent amount of interest and discussion. I would rather prefer these topics to just fall back pages rather than having to lock them manually. Also, I would prefer it if you guys didn't create posts that read "this topic should be locked now" That just pushes the thread up because you've made a post. Just notify myself or the other officers through a PM if you feel there's a need for action to be taken.
