I like the 2d Zeldas; they're awesome, but I definitely like the 3d Zeldas better. The deepest 2D Zelda would probably be A Link to the Past, or maybe Minish Cap (I wouldn't know, I've never played it).
The olderZelda games get with newer ones being made, The older ones just become classics.
This makes it get a little boring at times. Some newer 2 D zelda games might be a little interesting,
But there is so much more to be offered playing Zelda games in 3 D instead.
you have to be crazy to play a 2d zelda over a 3d oneSkull_Kid_RoxYup , that's why I said

I Have played, OOT Mq, MM, TWW. all over and over again. Collecting everything in all those games. I Loved them too, Thats why im a zelda fan. But when I play a zelda on the gamboy, Or even on gamecube (collectors addition) It doesnt have the same feal to it. I lose interest really fast, And no longer feal the need to play. Does this mean im not a true zelda fan?Cry__havocno it just means you dont like sprites and they bore you now!
but dont hate on my icon!
[QUOTE="h8td1"]When you get bored with 2D zelda games -- Â Party with 3 D zelda gamesmetalsamuraiOr vice versa. Exactly.:D
I dont know how you could hate old school zelda...So do I.
but everyone has their own opinions i suppose i love all zelda games. 8)

My advice to you would be to play the 2D games, not all if you dont want to but at least one or two, preferably Minish Cap and/or A Link to the Past both on the gameboy advance if you have one. You may hate them if you truly do despise 2D Zelda titles, but at least you'll find out if 2D is absolutly not for you because those two games are the best 2D Zeldas out there. And jump into them with more of an open mind and you may even learn to like them, because although the 3D Zelda titles are indeniably the best there is, you just dont get the full Zelda experience without the 2D titles. Of course, this is just my opinion on the matter so you can take my advice only if you want to(But I highly recommend you do).Â

it sounds like that you are just too used to the 3D zelda games and now see the smaller 2D zelda games as
a boring game because it doesn't have that flashy 3D look to it.
After you start to play a 2D zelda game, stick with it and tear it up.
You will probably get used to it again.8)

True. It did look funny when he walked like that anyways. The funny thing is, if anyone here can remember that far back, was that when OOT was announced, there were many complaints that 3D was, somehow, being unfaithful and just, overall, a bad move. I remember one particular complaint that the person "[didn't] want a Super Mario 64 clone." Funny how arguments change...
2D Zelda still holds a special place in my heart. But change is good, too!
