I just found this (its what I was telling jordan on he phone), "Sony recently announced that the new PS3 controller will not have the rumble capability that the earlier PlayStation DualShock controllers have.
If rumble is removed from the PS3 console, your PlayStation or PS2 games also may not have vibration when played on the PS3. How would the lack of rumble in the whole console affect your decision to buy the PS3?", I feel like I heard somthing about this before, also if their gonna slap a price tag at $600+ they should have somthing as standard as rumble. What do you think?
Rumble feature is not needed for game play ; besides, if the game is good enough, you will be so engaged that you won't even notice the controller rumbling.
I love da rumlbing. I couldn't play a game witout it. I even had a rumblepack on my n64 controller at all times. Dis is jus enough to seal da fact dat I ain never gon get a ps3. nuff said by me.
You probably heard this but the control was also changed into what is now also identical to the old PS2 controllers. The new style that Sony had for the new PS3 controls looked awesome. It was something unique. But that's just another feature that Sony has taken away from their pricey system.
Yeah, it was pretty cool(j/k), you could throw the controller to turn off your PS3(if you hit the power switch)Â and it would come back to cause it look like a god damn boomerang

I liked dat boomerang style. I thought dat was tight, now it's gone. Another reason I ain gettin a ps3.
the new ps3 controlers looked gay, the little bits down the bottom of the handle things were like 10 inches long, the old ones look heaps better but im still not gonna get a ps3
