Welcome to Gotei 13's Requests (Jan 2011 => old)

Here you can request an image for all your GS needs. It's going to be a temprary thread again since I dont have that much time to do requests. However I'm going to set up a list with people that (might) be available for your requests. Depending how that runs I might leave it open for a while.

We expect you to save the image to your computer and upload it somewhere else.

Yes, that was needed. because you don't read it unless it's repeated a zillion times. By uploading it somewhere else, you can avoid the upload restrictions of the GS preferences and you dont have to rely on other people bandwidth.

Here are some sites where you can create an FREE account:

• (Gamespot.com, on your own profile you have a tab on the left that says "Images". You can upload there aswell)

When you request something, at least try to be clear in what you really want and dont type a whole philosofical story of what you like. Also, if you have a specific character in mind, try to find a pic of it so we have some reference on how your character looks like.

You may only request 1 image at a time. That also means that we're not going to make a slide show for you with 10 different sigs or full profile/union make-overs.

The last part depends on the designer though.

Animated sigs takes a lot of time to make and requires an good scene from whatever animation/movie you want. If nothing "happens" in the scene then it might turn out in a boring sig. Also the use of colors reduces the quality of your sig.

We don't make animated blogheaders and banners.

You may only request an image if you have been here long enough to get the stamp of approval on your @ss from Nightmare-_-.

You can go there for your tag requests.

EDIT: My two favorite squad mates to use would be Tali and either Legion or Garrus as the other. (or the merc, Zaeed)

well, if I'm going for a sig instead of a banner, there isnt much room to make it look good if we put all 3 without crowding it, so I'd say tali and garrus and call it good. plus, I missed my excellent screenshot opportunity due to a power outage before I could save it, anyway :/ so any "shepard" done in there wouldnt look like any I would put together XD

as for a pic, I can try to find a good one if you want. I really like your animated sig designs though, but if you dont feel up to doing that, I can look for a good one for a still pic if you want.

Other than that I'm kind of filling up on ideas I'm using at the moment.

I want to help take the occasional requests, but without adding myself to the list as to not get bombard with them. xD

I also might request something from Euca or Azaru, although I'm thinking of a theme right now.

I dont think we're getting swamped with requests since... well there is only 1 request running... You can add your name to the list with a status if you're available or not. That way the designers & recruits can see if there is anyone available. Anyways, it's your choice though.

that can be done, but then I'm going to request you to reduce it to only 1 character since the animated part will be the part that will attract the attention.

Can you find something bigger or wider? The GS banner has a width of 760px, so it should be that wide or more. Wallpapers work best for that sort of size.

Is this image any good for making anything with?

EDIT: Difficult to find any sort of video thats good for an animated anything in a sig or anything. Unless I use the normandy battle/crash landing, or something from one of the scinimatic battles during the final battle. Might end up doing that, if so I'll have to either find a video, or figure out how to record one myself.

ok. You're getting me confused. I would like you to figure out what you really want and come back again. Videos (online streams) are fine. That is easier for you and for me. The last pic you posted is fine btw

I hate to say it but I'm not going to start watching all episodes of Battle Stargalactica to find a action scene with her in it. At least narrow it down to a few epsides for me to look.

yeah thats fine euca, I said I'd get back to you when I found more, I just wanted to check if that pic was good for the still pic part.

EDIT: About what length of clip would be best? I'm going to make it easier for ya and chop everything ouit of the clip myself so that you have only the general area I want to work with, that way you dont have a bunch of excess crap to try to skip to or slice off. and if you like where its cut to already, then that makes it even easier for ya.

Ah yeah it went to the junk folder. I wasn't able to open it from the home PC but I'll definitely be able to do it from my laptop on Monday when I get the dang thing to the college.
