Maybe it's just me but I can't seem to get into Gears of War. It's umm.....how should I put it? Slow and rather clunky to me. Meh, it just wasn't my kind of game anyway.

I third that opinion. Here's my take on the seires.
Pros: Chainsaw gun
Cons: Everything else.
it's just other third person shooters have done it way better. Like Battlefront and Max Payne are just classes beyond it. The only thing i had going for it was the horde mode, but that has been seen in some sorts of form in other games. And they completely removed it in the new one

I'd like to try it before judging, but it doesn't look like its worth the $50. When the price dies down, I still think I'll try it. I feel like the ONLY selling point on the game is that it includes Merle and Daryl... which is precisely why I want it :cry:

Nope. I just wasn't writing well, and even when I finished it something just felt off. It's better than what I remember though, so maybe I was just having a hard time concentrating.:P

When I first turned on my PS2 the opening took my breath away.When I first got to playing the controls seemed so complex.And they do take a little while to get used to,but when you get the hang of them you'll see that this game let's you do just about anything! The camera is perfect,not one problems there.Even in 2011 the graphics are still quite nice looking,no real graphical hiccups.The story may not be as riveting as MGS1 and you may find it a little too over the top,but it is still what you would come to expect form the series.It is very confusing though and at the end of the game you're gonna be very confused!The cutscenes are masterfully done and it'll be like watching a movie!But the game isn't the biggest game in the world,It's about 14 to 18 hours long.Overall,it it one of the top PS2 games.

What the hell was I talking about? MGS2 was my first Metal Gear Solid game, how would I have known the story of the original? :P
