Just the opposite. I visit the board daily, so I was quite excited to learn of her visit.

It seems to be the rest of the fandom that got mad for no reason at all, as some can't seem to grasp how she'd be willing to even set foot in there, despite the fact that she used to regularly lurk the /co/ (cartoon) board.

If she had visited anywhere else, we'd just be like 'ok, cool'. But no... she sets foot in /mlp/ and it's like some sort of betrayal to the rest of the fandom (edit: slight reword).

People seem to forget that she's no real stranger to that side of the internet. And then there's the hugboxing, where the only 'real fans' luv and toler8 everything and have nothing bad to say to each other. So yeah... just general ignorance and hypocrisy all round.

That is something that really irritates me about some aspects of the fandom, being a little more open minded and forgiving is great but it shouldn't completely cloud any rational judgement. If someone acts like a total idiot, they should be called an idiot, for their own sake as much as anyone elses.Overlord93

I certainly won't say that most within the fandom (I just typoed that as 'fandomare'...) are probably like that. But by gods... the hate I've seen coming from some of these caring individuals over the last number of days.

It does provide some interesting perspective though. /mlp/ has been doing practically zilch to perpetuate the ongoing drama. Just been sitting back and watching everything unfold, basically.

Ah well... drama eventually blows over (until the next storm).

I love that edm has finally hit pop radio. I do wish it was better edm, but still, at least it's getting some exposure.

I think there's some amazing bands out there that are still making great stuff. The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, The Vaccines, Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Queens of the Stone Age, Dr. Dog. i could go on and on and on. Yeah, a few of them have been around since the 90's and their musical style has definitely changed (Radiohead), but that just proves how great of a band they are. The ability to completely alter one's style and still sound great is amazing.

A shame especially in my place that once in MTV or other music channel features new song, it's new favorite and the others are history.
