I'm bored, so time for a random thought exercise!!!!!!!

Let's just say you are suddenly paralyzed from the neck down, unable to move or breath.  So, you need your basic bodily function s to be carried out by life support equipment.  This equipment is power by a generator (like one of those portable ones that could go where ever you go, if you where somehow going anywhere) which runs on one of the sources of power listed above.  If you could choose, which would you choose, and why?

I'd go nuclear for something reliable, generally safe unless things are going pear shaped anyway, and so I could have the radiation sign on it, lol.

hmmm, I clicked nuclear BUT  that would speed up the rate at which I would get cancer dramatically.............O__O.

I doubt the other forms of energy would provide much freedom though. I'd rather live a few awesome years than live longer in an artifical prison.

I guess technically Nuclear is steam energy, since the whole point of the reactor is to heat up water into steam for it to turn a turbine.  In that regard it works just like the victorian era steam engines which were, incidently, coal powered.

I chose Solar Power, cause its generally pretty reliable, and I would rather not be irradiated.

Very Valuable point, I'd rather take a killing blow from a Halberd then be put on life support.
