... and had to choose 3 officers from each kingdom (Wei, Wu, Shu) to be behind your banner, who would you choose and why?

My List:

From Shu

Zhuge Liang - Really a no-brainer. Every great kingdom needs a great strategist, and Zhuge is arguably the most talented in entire 3 Kingdoms Era.

Guan Yu - Do I reallly need an explanation? Leader of the Five Tiger Generals, a fierce warrior, and one badass beard. Would pick this guy up on my side in a heartbeat.

Ma Chao - One of Shu's mightiest warriors and a member of the Five Tiger Generals. Can't go wrong with this guy fighting alongside you.

From Wei

Xiahou Dun - This fearsome general is one of Wei's most formidable officers. High in charisma and morale.

Cao Cao - Every kingdom needs a leader... and whether you like him or not, you can't deny his intelligence, ambition, and success.

Zhang Liao - as one of Wei's top five generals, he slightly passes Xu Huang as the final officer from Wei.

From Wu

Lu Xun - Two minds are better than one. I have great respect for this guy, and being along side Zhuge Liang... that's one tantem of strategists that will bring it every battle.

Taishi Ci - I needed one spot in Wu to be filled by a bad*ss fighter. Couldn't think of a better man to fill that spot other than the great Taishi Ci.

Gan Ning - This guy is the X factor. He's an experienced general who is a pirate at heart and seems crazy enough to be up for anything. His naval experience is also a plus.

My List:

From Shu

Zhuge Liang - Yeah, he could be the brain and do all the boring parts like, planning and maintaining the empire, etc.

Zhang Fei - I can barely think of a better man than this to ride into bittle alongside me. Funny and usually rather drunk, I think he'd be quite fun to witness in a fight.

Huang Zhong - He's old, fun and he knows stuff, meaning he could both chat & battle with me and Zhang Fei and then afterwards help Zhuge Liang with all the boring stuff. :P

From Wei

Xiahou Dun - He could be a big help in kicking ass, plus he looks like a pirate with his eye patch. 

Xiahou Yuan - He's a lot like Zhang Fei to me, which is only good. Plus he's good with a bow like Huang Zhong and I guess it doesn't hurt to have two great archers.

Zhen Ji - Hawt. Wife. :P

From Wu

Lu Meng - This guy is serious, he could point out when we're acting too childish and yell at us for it. Then he could help Zhuge Liang with planning stuff.

Zhou Tai - More seriousness double basassness. This guy would be my personal bodyguard.

Sun Ce - He looks like a good friend, someone that is nice to know. He'd be my second personal bodyguard.

I like how a lot of the officers you chose are people you'd wanna hang out with on the battlefield. That kinda makes for another interesting topic idea for later...

Zhou Yu: Big fan after watched Red Cliffs, had previously only considered him as Sun Ce's anime girlfriend.

Zhuge Liang- obviously the perfect strategist, so he is definatly in my kingdom

Pang Tong- he would be the cool person in my kingdom :)

Ma Chao- we need someone to fight for justice!!!

Lu Xun- a great assistant for Zhuge Liang and a cheerful person for the whole kingdom

Zhou Yu- a skilled fighter, plus one of my favourites :D

Zhou Tai- Someone who can just be quiet most of the time, and still be a beast on the battlefield

Sima Yi- we need someone to cause trouble xD

Cao Cao- a good leader

Zhen Ji- every kingdom needs a whore :P

1) Zhao Yun - obviously, a firm and strong warrior, gallant in his ways, and unphased with his views. Valuing loyalty and justice, he'd make up a great general in my kingdom.

Zhang liao: One of the strongest definetly neccesary and elite.

Cao Cao: If brainwashed can be the best advisor for economic problems. While the three Wu strategists deal millitary, Cao Cao will deal political and economic.
