He did try in real life about 4 times I believe. But there was no victor in any of the battles. But to stand alone against 3 men, 2 of which were amazingly skilled, is a huge undertaking. The fact that he was never defeated by them shows his might.
Prabably what happened in the book is what would happen every time. (i.e. Lu Bu woud eventually have to retreat if only because of exhaustion setting in). I doubt there would ever be a definative victory.
i think that in real life he could have taken out one of the three brothers doesnt matter which one though but i still think that hes a powerful warrior of the three kingdoms
In real history Lubu was feared by many because of a couple battles that he just slaughtered everyone. They weren't really popular battles , but people knew who he was because of what he did. In real-life Lu Bu did not battle the 3 sworn brothers , in Real Life he battled Guan Yu , Zhang Fei , Sun Ce , and a couple other Generals as well. All of those battles were 1 on 1 , Guan Yu beat Lu Bu , not killing him , but Lu Bu Stood down , which is how Guan Yu started fear of his name. Zhang Fei fought him and noone won , but , Zhang Fei left before either he or Lu Bu could of gotten hurt , so that was never decided , Sun Ce fought Lu Bu when Lu Bu was bouncing around for money and power , and Sun Ce beat the crap out of him because Lu Bu had never fought anyone like him before ( Thus adding to his title " Little Conqueror" ). Sun Ce died soon after , which led to Lu Bu not fearing anybody alive again , except Guan Yu. It is said that he fought many other generals from all 3 kingdoms , but noone really knew the victors or not because they also fought in battles far beyond that after Lu Bu was executed.
