It's a nice surprise indeed! It appears that the system must have somehow kept up with levels these past 4 years or something. Who knows, but it's the first time I've seen this since I was a new member on gamespot.
We'll find out tomorrow I guess. Someone be sure to keep up with their union's percentage to see if it increases any tomorrow. It'll at least allow for the active unions to stand out finally and get more of a recruiting advantage over the dead unions that used to be the highest levels.
It's working I think. The SCU went up from 11% to 19% today after a relatively active day. I'm not sure how much it takes for the percentages to go up though and if there is a cap. Last I remember union levels were supposed to go slowly, however I'm not sure how it works since the SCU was busy all day yesterday and got a nice increase at a high level.
It is a nice surprise, but I doubt it is an indication that unions will get a overhaul any time soon. It would be nice to be proven wrong though :P.siberian142
I don't want an overhaul into the wide layout. That would be a downgrade for unions if you ask me, things are stable the way they are now, and there are less issues in the older layout.
True, there are much less issues in the old layout. But The old union layout is old looking for one, and seriously outdated. More controls, more interactivity within the union system would be great. I quit gamespot a few years ago due to the lack of love GS gave unions...and now I'm back...for some random reason

The levels are working, it depends on how active the union is for the thing to increase. Today we managed to go from 67 to like 96 somehow so I know it's working lol.

What do you mean free points? I've never noticed any free points for user accounts before. You'll still get points in your early levels if you only log-in or don't even log-in.

It finally went up.....by 1%. Bit odd that nearly a weeks activity at my union only gets a single percent, we may not be the most active place but we probably average at about 10 - 20 posts per day.Â

Yeah, I've noticed this for me too. It took me about a week to get from 20% to 30%.
