So is the original leader still leading at the unions you're in? Are the charter members still active?

I am still leading DreamON, though I had a hiatus during late 2009/early 2010.

Toonami only has the original leader. The Social Cafe has the original leader and I think a "charter officer".

For the most part yes. But in one of my past unions, the leader got banned (who knows why) and then the leadership passed through like 4 people before the activity died.

In AONU the leader is still the original, and I think one or two charter officers are still in the staff.

I have no idea who founded my union and I'm not bothered really since they didn't do a very good job of running it.

I'm getting fed up trying to keep my union active, occasionaly activity will die down and I'll make a post pointing out inactivity then people will say "I'm still here but lurking for a while"....and that is why unions die....

I'd say it's more that the newer generation of leaders didn't quite live up to the older leaders. A lot of newer members simply aren't as good at leading unions in my opinion. This is actually my problem with my own union. I've wanted to retire for over a year now, but there's few people out there that I see as good leaders who can take over successfully, compared to in the past. Few people realize the amount of work it takes to lead a union successfully, and it does get tiresome after a while. Back in my own union's peak when it averaged over 1000 posts daily it was a grind cause of the high activity expectations. On our slow days where we would get 600-700 posts in that day instead of the usual +1000 people would complain. Those high expectations wear you eventually, I could easily get the SCU back to doing those 1000 posts daily, but I've just lost the urge to continue being the one to do all that. The ideal thing for me nowadays would be to retire, and simply take a step back and give advice on how to properly lead unions to others.

Nah I'm done leading unions lol, I'd rather just sit back. I've had my eyes at the SCU for a long time, just that there's not many people around nowadays that could possibly take over and do a good job.
