I wouldn't call him a master of the dark arts. He was good, but no master. horgen123I am the master of Dark Magic and Sorcery.
[QUOTE="Toph_Girl250"][QUOTE="lancelot200"]It looks like most of us are unemployed. :P2ndWonderWhich explains why a lot of us here have a lot of free time on our hands and are capable of posting here a lot. :PI posted here a lot when I did work :PBut you're not working anymore? I think quitting your job made you post less here! :o Usually it seems jobs make people have less time here, but for you it was the opposite, I think you need to get another job! :o
[QUOTE="Toph_Girl250"]I believe a community can only be a city if there's a Mayor in charge.lancelot200Nope. I live in a village with a mayor.
No, care to elaborate?Toph_Girl250You think that I remember with all that time pass. It was probably go become a pornstar.Villages can have Mayors? O_O Hmmm, how can that be? I didn't know this was Animal Crossing: Wild World.
I start working in a week. I'm excited, and nervous about the opportunity. It'll be working in a real company, not the small part time jobs that most people my age get. julian_jrMake the most of it! It'd be awesome for the resume, and if you impress your superiors enough for them to write you a testimonial before you go.

If you like it there, you should think about go there for a job when you are done... Summer job does wonder in that regard if the boss is pleased with you

Pretty much the same thing except it's like a returning internship.
[QUOTE="julian_jr"]If lucky they'll be hiring me after college, not writing a letter for me.silentexistenceDon't speak too soon because you still aren't sure if the job is a good fit for you or not. The goal's getting work experience in an engineering job and it's not like I'd stay with them forever.
The goal's getting work experience in an engineering job and it's not like I'd stay with them forever. julian_jrBut if you find out during the internship that the job isn't for you, you aren't going to be joining them even if they offer you a place after you graduate.

Honestly, I probably would since it's a really big company with lots of opportunity. It's a really good starting point to get in the work market.

Work becomes a drag at that point and it's so hellish to go through.

I'm hoping the same, I didn't look for them, they looked for me which is a good start. Then in the job interview I had no idea what I was doing and still managed to get the job, so for some reason they see something in me I'm hoping. julian_jrI bet it's a combination of your name, your resume, and your rugged good looks.

[QUOTE="julian_jr"]It's 3 terms minimum. Terms are each semester and summer. lancelot200So, you'll do that in one year? The way it'll work is that I'm working this summer. Then during the fall semester I'll have school like normal, however in the spring semester I'll be working rather than going to class. I'll still be considered a full time student while I'm co-oping that spring semester, however I won't get any credits. Then I'll probably continue working into the summer.
