Well I would say that I read 2 hrs today or something instead of saying that I read 50 pages. Because I stop at chapters and not a specific page number.
The Hobbit and Silmarillion is not LOTR. They are just Middle Earth and Tolkien. I have bought. I like reading Silmarillion because it gives you a background knowledge about LOTR.

Then what more is than the 3 books? I know The Hobbit and Silmarillion isn't exactly LOTR but you do get to know a lot about the universe
well I just finished reading A Christmas Carol, and re reading to Kill a Mockingbird, I think next I might re read The Wind in the Willows. (one of the best books evah!)
well, in a way it shares a few similarities with the hobbit, it is about a mole that loves to clean his house and is almost like Bilbo Baggins in the beginning of the Hobbit, then he meats a friend (my mind is dead right now, it was some other animal like a racoon or something, IDK mmy mind is dead right now.) and they just go on adventures and stuff like that. There is also Toad who always has these crazy dreams that end up getting him into trouble.
^yeah towards the end they battle with weasels. (or maybe mongooses, sorry i haven read it since 6th grade... been busy with a lot of other series.) also they be friend a badger who strangely reminds me of boo radley for some odd reason. And there friend toad gets sent to jail so they have to go find him... although IDK if that counts as going on a quest for something...
