I have to say this is the best game pack you can get. It's only $50, and you get 5 great games.

You get:

  • Half Life 2
  • Half Life 2: Episode 1
  • Half Life 2: Episode 2
  • Portal
  • Team Fortress 2.

I've only played Portal as of yet and it's fun and challenging.

So what you guys think?

It is an awesome deal.My bro has been playing TF2 an insane amount.

I plan on getting this soon, but I need a new hardrive as well.

Yes I agree totally. Portal is what I played when I first got it and it's so fun. The portal aspect of the game adds a whole new twist to the genre. I can only imagine the Multiplayer possibilities that goes along with it. Half-Life 2 is an awesome game. Since I don't play computer games I never cared about the Half-Life Series, but now that I play it I understand. Plus with Episode 1 and 2 thats like 2/3's of the next game right there. (Half-Life 3?) It makes me want to go back and play Half-Life 1. Team Fortress 2 is great. The Maps, the characters (The Heavy is my favorite) it's all very well done and the cartoony look was a good call. It could use a few more maps though and (for me at least) it won't replace Halo, but it's still fun.

I've already finished HL2 on the original Xbox.Marksman2200
That version sucked. That's why I never bought it. Still you have to play Ep 1 and 2. I am about halfway though 1 right now. Plus if you want those achevments you know what you must do.

I rather go with the Pink Box. :)

I did not want to get the Orange Box since I already had Half Life 2, Episode 1 and 2.

Well I think that it is a good deal. I do believe that portal is one of the hottest puzzle games out there. Of course it is also the newest technology to.

I never played any of those games in ever. However I still want to try this out. I played the flash version of portal and it was an awesome game =D

Don't you love the ending credits song? I can't get it out of my head. I think that might be the only time I actually enjoyed watching the credits.

Well, the Half Life series is a good 30 or more hours, Portal is about 3-4 hours and TF2...well it will last for however you want.

I will make the game last at least 100 hours. Trying to get all the achievements, multiplayer, story in all difficulties, etc.

TF2 will get you your muliplayer time. HL2 and Portal will do for the alone time.

you start off with no weapons only the GG. You don't get a actual gun till 1/3 into the game and you find barely any ammo for it.

There is a ton for the xbox 360.

Another that I have left for Half Life 2 is to not touch the sand in the level SandTraps. I can't touch the sand the entire level...

I almost did it, then when I went to fight the antlion queen, I thought I could finally step in the sand. It looks like I was wrong though, since I didn't unlock the achievement...
