One thing I've been wondering for a while is if life exists at all on other planets. I mean, out of all the planets out there, we can't be the only one, can we?TAMKFan
It's definitely possible that somewhere out there, some form of life on another planet is thinking the exact same thing.

To me it's equally probable whether there might or might not be life on other planets.

I think the only way I would is if a scenario like Red Faction: Guerilla is set up to where I could help with missions and stuff.

In centuries perhaps we will get to know the answer if we haven't killed ourselves in any more massive world wars by then.

Warp Drives, for starters I think we need to figure out how to warp ourselves from one location to another, like driving in some vehicle, with the warp drive system, and set it to 1,000 feet away in some clear area, and once you hit the button, your vehicle instantly warps you to the exact 1,000 foot-way destination. Even this may be a lot harder than it sounds, but I'm sure its at least somewhat easier and less near impossible than the super near impossible time travel break-through. :PToph_Girl250
That's not how warp drives work, that's almost like a wormhole...sort of. Yes, it is much much much much much harder than it sounds

Essentially you have a device on the front and a device on the back, the device on the back expands space and the device on the front contracts space. Because the expansion and contraction of space is not impeded by the light speed barrier you (in theory) could travel at any speed. The ship you are in never moves, you move space around it. Only problem is that the amount of negative energy required to power it is way beyond our capabilities

No, the time travel barrier is not closer, because it is almost on par. One way that macroscopic objects can travel through time is through wormholes. All other methods, that weren't created by the universe, seem to run the risk of ripping the fabric of spacetime. Even if wormholes link us to the past, there are still so many paradoxes to deal with

I've read about Roswell, interesting stuff right there. You should see this movie called "The Fourth Kind," supposedly based on true events about these abductions in Alaska.

I think I saw previews for that movie 2-3 years ago, haven't seen it yet though. Alaska... pretty creepy place I say, what with all the ice/snow, wilderness, dangerous animals... can get dark and lonely there considering the State is the second-least populated one in the country.

Actually, Alaska is the fourth least populated state in the US, not the second. But not only it is the fourth least populated state, but it's also the biggest state by area.

Some people are thinking that we won't even be flying in hover-cars and have extremely futuristic cities until hundreds of years from now, let alone a Moon Base. (Unfortunately they might be right.)
