Two NVIDIA GPU's = SLI
Bulldozer
[QUOTE="Sandulf29"]Yep, but there's also Tri and Quad SLI as well, though that's an abusrd amount of power unless you game at 2560x1600.>.>Two NVIDIA GPU's = SLI

2, 3 or 4 Radeon GPUs equal Crossfire of course.
That is indeed insane. Only people I can imagine using it are those who design cars or buildings on CAD softwares
[QUOTE="Sandulf29"]Still doesn't help me that much. :PTwo NVIDIA GPU's = SLI

PolskaKing
I can't help much then
[QUOTE="mitu123"]I will assume very good. 3 reasons why I want it:[QUOTE="PolskaKing"][QUOTE="julian_jr"]I have no idea how good that is. ^PolskaKing
1. Price
2. SLI and Crossfire
3. Bulldozer support
...I don't know what any of that means except for price. :P SLI/Crossfire means the ability to use two separate graphic cards to work together. What the hell is bulldozer support?

Bulldozer is the next AMD cpu that comes out in as late as September and will take on Intel's Sandy Bridge cpus in price and performance.
Piledriver, Bulldozer.......They certainly have these macho names  Still 8 cores woul be awesomeSandulf29Yep, though it's about time AMD actually tries to compete against Intel in power this time like they did in 2003 and all the way up to 2006 when Intel continued to beat them every year since Intel Core 2 Duo. From my understandings Bulldozer will take on Sandy Bridge and I'm guessing Piledriver will go after the higher end Intel cpus on the market but I'm not too sure about Ivy Bridge yet.
You would post anything for a board sweep wouldn't you >_>Sandulf29Yes. :P[QUOTE="horgen123"] SLI/Crossfire means the ability to use two separate graphic cards to work together. What the hell is bulldozer support? Ah. Sheesh, next time, I'm asking Chris for these questions of explanation! :P
My family purchased a original Nintendo system for $5 dollars at a resale store about two weeks ago. We just purchased Pro Wrestling and Metal Gear for the system.game-ster23I would have sold it for more.
Just ordered this for 124.99:
This will be my 2nd GTX 460 this year, plus looks to have much better overclocking than my current.
After doing some research, it turns out that 2 GTX 460s consume over 400 watts in SLI, and over 500 watts when overclocked and I have a 550 watt power supply, looks like I need a 650-750 watt to be safe.
You bought the exact same thing as mitu?lancelot200This one is a different brand and a better version of my current, plus I'm doing it for SLI so I can use both at the same time and get over double the amount of power and performance on games. For example as in Mafia II, 1 GTX 460 can get 30-60 FPS consistently but 2 GTX 460s can do 90-130FPS consistently.
Previous was a PNY GTX 460, this is a MSI N GTX 460, using both will make my PC even stronger than before.
[QUOTE="lancelot200"]You bought the exact same thing as mitu?Cloud_765No... I bought Sonic Colors DS and the Yu-Gi-Oh deck... The "that^" was posting to the picture of Sonic Colors DS... The image didn't appear when I first posted. Must have been too quick to load.
bought two cds todaySwanogt19Which ones?
Oh wow...those can die?Well, my future purchase is going to be a new Wii... Current one died....

It's a laptop though. I wonder how many cores the next gen consoles will have. Maybe 10 cores plus 2 for GPU?

I don't think that would happen, no console is getting 10 cores next gen, imagine how expensive that would be. I can see 4 at least, maybe 6, 8 has a chance but low, but no 10 cores.:P
