I have two NES controllers i think, and about 15 games. Funny, i only remember ever playing Super Mario 2:P It was an awesome game.
Anyway, i saw this video yesterday. I couldve sworn it was Oblivion, but it was actually Two Worlds. I was like, WTF? Looks cool anyway.Â
games can't help to be similar to make a profit now I guesshendrix29
I know it's crazy. It's really a shame when games like Okami and Ico come out and dont sell well just because they try something a little different, even though I buy every GTA that comes out, I still appreciate games that try something different.Â

Yeah, Okami is such an awesome game. Its sad it doesnt sell well.Â
Heh, none here. Than again, I live in Canada, all we have is dog sledding and maple syrup and igloos *rolls eyes* :Pmutatedsquirrel
I live in Canada and I can buy snes, complete with controllers and all the cords, where I live. and you can buy snes games too. Course if you are really desperate but don't want to travel, you could use ebay, it has TONS of that stuff all the time.
Its got easy achievements though...if that interests you.GazzaB

The achievements are insanely easy. I have five already, the first time I got one I wondered what the heck I had done to get it.
[QUOTE="Pandamar"]I'm curious...What do you think about Reloaded and Revolutions?Nazz9
They were nothing compared to The Matrix, especially Revolutions, it asked more questions that it answered.
Yeah definitely. Both were watchable, with Reloaded being better i think, but the first Matrix was so much better than both. They were disappointing.

Yeah, Reloaded was better, it was slightly too long I think, but it was still better than Revolutions.
BUMP!
I've been thinking a lot about Oblivion, The Elder Scrolls, and RPG's in general lately. Or more specifically, the game mechanics that make an RPG.
I want your guys' thoughts on this. What constitutes an RPG? When does a game stop being an RPG and start being...some other genre with RPG elements? Moreover, what are "RPG elements"? Is that just a buzzword used in PR doublespeak to generate hype for a game?
...or more simply, what makes a game an RPG in your eyes?
I take it everyone's seen that MGS4 gaeplay video. It looked amazing, i really want to beat MGS3 now, which has been sitting in my house for months but ive never actually played:PGazzaB
Damn the vid was awesome! Drum Can best invention ever! I've played every MG, quite an accomplishment I think, and they all rule, so much so that I may have to buy a PS3 just for MGS4 :P
[QUOTE="Pandamar"]I really, really didn't want to buy a PS3 (especially for one game), but it looks like Kojima is forcing me to. :(
Nazz9
I know! :(
Well i was always getting one anyway for FFXIII, but now i have another great game to look forward to. Im actually glad its got an early 2008 release date, because this christmas is going to be crazy with all these other games coming out.
BIOSHOCK!
Has anyone else played the demo?
Pandamar
I thought the demo was phenomenal, especially the atmosphere and story. Although the voice acting could be a bit better, it sounds like a big hit to me. Speaking of new games, I just got the new Madden, very good so far.

Yeah I loved the Bioshock demo, played it multiple times using specific things like once with a pistol only, once with the incinerate plasmid, etc.I think that this game is GOTY material,of course that will be a close one to decide with so many great games coming out.I tried out Madden at Gamestop today and it definitely is the best next-gen Madden yet,so I might pick that up but Bioshock,Eternal Sonata, and Halo 3 will take up most of my game time until late October when FEAR Files and Timeshift are out.One last thing, how many of you will run the Halo 3 campaign through co-oprather than single-player?I plan on doing co-op for the good fun halo has always been with co-op in the campaign, but playing it by yourself also gives you a rich experience since you are fighting on your own, which is also kind of cool.
