Xbox One has a massive advantage over the PS4 when it comes to hard drive space. And I'm going for more digital purchases next gen.

You can use 3 4TB external hard drives on X1 for 12TB all at once. For the PS4 to match that, you need 12 1TB hard drives(which is costly as it would cost more) and they have to be internal only and 2.5 inch with 9.5mm, and you can only use one at a time. As right now it's not known if it won't support external hard drives for games like the PS3.

Thanks to this I probably won't buy an X1 disc. As for the PS4, I'll do my best with the 1TB I'll have until they make a 1.5 or 2TB 2.5 inch 9.5 mm internal hard drive. Heck even Wii U supports external hard drives.

it doesn't suck, they didn't make games for it and didn't plan for that. I am getting the Wii U, but i am waiting for a price drop or good games to come out for it

It's one of the reasons why I mainly want to go digital next gen to avoid the annoyance of physical flaws, and I have my reasons:

2. Don't have to worry about disc scratches.

3. All games tied to an account in case you want to download them again rather than the chance of losing a physical copy.

4. Don't have to worry about the console not reading the disc.

5. Don't need to swap discs just to play a game.

6. Don't have to worry about discs being worn out.

So all X1 games will be digital for me, and I'll have to work something out with PS4 games. As for Wii U, I could get an external hard drive for that as well.:P 

I still prefer the physical disc over the digital game. the only time I go digital is for PC. if Microsoft pulls of amazing sales like steam for digital copies, then by all means, I will go digital as well. until then, discs for me.leon2365

A service like Steam on consoles would be a dream come true as it'll save console owners a lot of money, but since consoles are closed platforms unlike PCs it won't happen.

The day a console game you can download(new obviously) for 3 bucks about a year after release would be a dream come true.

Time to get hyped everyone...the PS4 release date is all I want really, but having more announced games is still awesome of course.

Now before you get mad at MS, this happens ALL THE TIME in console development and it will eventually be fixed, but no chance for an early October release or...

... certainly not for all 21 countries. "Localization" is absolute one hundred percent BS. Period. TRUTHFACT. An excuse nobody with common sense would consider. Look at the countries dropped. Cross reference against languages spoken, official and otherwise in said countries. I said there were yield issues two months ago and the chicks have come home to roost. Knock offs for launch titles, and SmartGlass, etc. instead of the 180's "one coherent vision". Paying the price now.

And... weeeelllll, about that.

There's whispers of a Kinect-optional (as in, not in the box) SKU early next year. March or April. Enough smoke now that I didn't want to wait until September to say it. Launch number fallout will play its part.

IMO TRUTHFACT 3+ is the best one on there.
