Sure, if i fire up my 360 i will
showing off skills, and its a nice way to meet like minded gamers. if they tune in to your broadcast, they most likely have the game you are playing, or have at least played it at some point.
Yeah, when i have time i am sure to give you a pm
@The_Last_Ride: PM me about what?
Guitar Hero
oh. ok.
i don't see myself playing anything else on that console atm
Yeah, i don't know why people do that tbh
I view it a few ways:
1. I find the streamer entertaining. Not just them playing the game, but they may have a certain charm that, as a viewer, attracts me to their stream.
2. It's a game I don't have yet, but am kinda thinking of getting. I have bought Portal 2 and Mirror's Edge solely based off of the live gameplay that I've seen via twitch. Also semi-interested in playing Hearthstone now even though I have literally never touched a card game.
3. Can learn of new glitches and strategies. I have found some substantial glitches in games that I otherwise never would've dreamed of finding. Did you know that Ocarina of Time can be beat in less than 19 minutes? That's not even a TAS - it's a legit person. How about skipping the majority of Midgar in Final Fantasy VII? How about skipping most of Final Fantasy VII in general via Yuffie Warping?
4. The uncertainty. Again this is mostly related to speedruns, but it can be exciting to see someone close to breaking a world record (or even just a personal record). You're kinda nervous. You're legit hoping that the person doesn't choke or get bad RNG.
idk maybe I just spent way too much time watching my older brother play games when I was younger and it's continued into adulthood.
