Hmm well I am an atheist therefore my political affiliations must be communistic.......
Nah, I don't really know what I am politically speaking. Politics bore the hell out of me.
Why is that? I'm kinda surprised actually. I'm probably more interested in politics than philosophy (but I imagine there is some overlapping).Hmm well I am an atheist therefore my political affiliations must be communistic.......

I would affiliate myself with social democracy. More emphasis on government services and less on privatisation. Some things I think should always be a service (eg. health care, public transport considering the recent performance of Connex :P).
I don't have any problem with big government, but I would say it is normal to be somewhat suspicious of them considering the power that they have. But thats why we have constitutions, balance of power etc.
The Australian system of government I find quite fascinating. It has churned out something that works, but not quite what was intended.Â

I dunno really. But philosophy is far more interesting to me.
Left-wing. :)
Note: this is in regards to 'my' countries politics. And I would never consider myself a liberal.
I'm actually very clueless about politics in the sense of formal knowledge and education regarding the subject, but I'd consider myself at the very centre of the political spectrum.
Nevertheless, there are aspects of both the left and right that piss me off.
I find it weird how some of you are turned off or disinterested in politics. I'm far more interested in politics than in religion, but in the US they overlap anyway.helium_flash
I find it much more interesting than religion too amongst other things, hence why it is one of my majors at university.
I have recieved some not so flattering responses when I have told fellow non-politics students I study politics, one of them being "eww politics".
