So which bumper sticker would you put on your car?

Tolerancecoexist

Tolerance or Coexist? I see the second one all the time, but I've only seen the first one once or twice.

"Tolerance" is a better word than "coexist", but the "coexist" sticker has a better colour. I'd still plump for "tolerance" though.

None, but that's because I hate bumper stickers. :P

I like "coexist" more, though.

Tolerance, the "Believe In It" part would be the deciding factor in bumber sticker placement.

In terms of words, tolerance.  Tolerance is more important than just coexisting to me.  But I like the blue better.

Neither. My aunt is a flaming liberal and she has the Coexist symbol and to be honest, anything associated with that message immediately is associated with her ideology.

I hate them as well. There was like a statistic that said the more bumper stickers someone had, the more likely they were to be an aggressive driver.

Neither, not because I'm against the message but because I'm against Bono.

Eh.  To be honest, I think someone wearing that around in plain view would be being a pretty big jerk.  Why would I want to make the very clothing I wear be an attack on people's fundamental beliefs in life?

.........I knew it was there because I bought one that said "WWRD What would Raskolnikov do?" from them.

Also couldn't it be concluded that anyone wearing religious paraphernalia is making an attack on other's fundamental beliefs.  Wearing a Star of David means that you think JC was a heretic, wearing a cross means that you think Muhammad was either a false prophet or delusional............so on and so forth for all mutually exclusive religions.  What is so bad about atheist expressing a world view?

basically i would put neither the "tolerance" nor the "coexist" thingies (whatever they're called) simply coz these words combined with the specific signs give me the impression of discrimination not unity...

No, but still I don't think the looks of those bumper stickers would go well with cars.

Not a fan of bumper stickers (and people pass me in my 17 year old car so frequently, I doubt they'd even read it if I had one).

But I like the design of the "Tolerance" one more. A bunch of religions coexist today, but they're not all tolerant of one another. That's what needs to be worked on.
