Why is the US so judgemental towards religion?? Does it really have any bearing on anything? Doesn't the bible teach not to judge??

I'm not certain. I think Christians have every reason to be judgemental on non-Christians because according to the Christian faith, those that are not in line with Christ will not receive salvation through him, but even then, salvation is not met until death, so its presence in our lives on Earth is only a non-physical reminder of Jesus's love for us so therefore, it's a slippery slope to be used in our current status on Earth which is inferior to God's plan in heaven.

As for the U.S. in general, it's probably because the majority of Americans associate themselves with Christianity and they feel compelled to think that anyone who doesn't share their beliefs won't share their morality. I think, however, that Americans need to brush up on their Bible a little better.

Yes they are but I think there are reasons for it. Just look at the tragic event of 9/11. You can't just expect them to not think about it. Those talibans killed thousands of innocent civilians on that day in their god's name. I think its very natural to be a bit judgemental after these sort of incidents.

It's just part of their self-proclaiming agenda.

If you can make yourself feel right...you must be right.

Gotta rally the troops also.
