Last "Favorite" topic I make...

We all know that Amiga was known for its sweet games but what about that other software? Which titles did you use most often? Which ones did you find yourself gravitating to? The famous Amiga staple Workbench? How about Deluxe Paint II?

What's your favorite?

I remember my friend used the program to make this really awesome picture of Earthworm Jim firing his blaster... I wish I could get it off the old Amiga and show it to everyone. Alas I think it may be lost now.

Oh definately Deluxe Paint and the numerous music 'tracker' programs. Also a great astromony program called Distant Suns.

Most of my non-gaming software came from Coverdisks and PD, but hey! some of them were really outstanding.

Here's my top list of SW:

Deluxe Paint (IV as the best)

Imagine 2.0

Real 3D

Wordworth

PC-Task (along with Cross-DOS)

Digital Illusions (PD about 200KB size but quite cool for Image Processing)

Scala Multimedia

Trackers: OctaMED, Protracker

and a lot more I can't remember now...
