I expect some reviewers will take off a considerable number of points away from their score for reusing the Link to the Past world, whereas others will love that they used that same world. 2D Zelda is 2D Zelda--it is what it is, and if you like it, you'll likely like this. I am just glad to get another top down Zelda that doesn't use horrible touch controls to move.

GT giving it a 9.8 was a surprise. It's even higher then IGN's score.

Well, A Link to the Past was the best Zelda game and, in fact, one of the best adventure games of all time. So of course the sequel is going to be great too.

I never played any Zelda before OOT, i was a hardocre PC gamer back then

Destructoid is like never happy with any Nintendo releases

But in general, its depends on what you were expecting, we all know Link Between Worlds is a spiritual sequel to Link to the Past with its own spin following that formula and its own changes.

Expecting anything else, of course your gonna hate it, he was expecting a heavy story like console Zelda's, thats not what the game is. Its all gameplay and a more freeform open world system.

Everyone has their opinions but to call a specific one the only real one is pushing it. Play the game yourself and you'll see if you like it or not, simple as that, then again this IS system wars
