You don't need to use the 2x speed trick. Keep in mind only newly uploaded videos seem to work.

Update: Besides Google Chrome, Internet Explorer is also supported. Safari seems to be aswell going by neoGaf. FireFox is still unsupported.
You need to watch in 720p or 1080p. They now have 60 next to them to indicate the fram rate. Unkown regarding higher resolutions
