Your favorite "Loot" game

Obviously Dragon's Crown is mine, but let's hear it. I'm gathering Borderlands and Diablo will be popular.

Torchlight II destroys Diablo III. Path of Exile also deserves a mention.

Fallout games/ES and Borderlands

Diablo 2, not even a contest.

Despite having a maximum resolution of 1024x768, graphics that were already old the day it came out, plenty of flaws in the skills system and an arguably flawed loot system, it's just so much better than anything ever done in the same genre that the kind of games similar to it are still called Diablo clones more than a decade after it came out.

Does FFXII count? If so, then I'll go with that. I was hooked on that aspect of the game.

Dark Souls

Diablo 3 destoys everything, cant wait for expansion... to bad console version coming later than PC:(

Borderlands 2 and Diablo II

Arkham City.

Although its not technically "loot" solving puzzles to hoard them trophies was actually fun.

hoarding stuff in video games just isn't fun.

Monster hunter

Not really a fan of loot games in general. It's always a story that keeps me hooked on an RPG.

Elder Scrolls series.

Hint: not Elder Scrolls, Skyrim made looting redundant after certain point in the game since you could've crafted / enchanted a lot better items yourself and I didn't specialize in being a blacksmith but in enchanting so even then the looting became irrelevant while at the beginning of the game it was the most enjoyable thing.

Diablo 3's 2.0 loot system will make it at least decent but still not as good as D2's (Diablo 3's current loot system blows).

Loot Game or System ? Because if it's game i'll say Dark Souls but Dark Souls loot system is crap lol

The only "loot" game that I've played in the last decade has been the Borderlands franchise.

1024x768 isn't the maximum you can do, not even close :)

man... just seeing this makes me want to roll a smiter and solo farm for some anni's.

Diablo 2, path of exile is also great but the loot system is a bit flawed.

Haven't gotten Guild Wars 2 yet but I hear great things about it.

Diablo 2. No game has gotten close to me, but that could be because I've lost interest in them a bit since those days.

Diablo series, followed by the original Dungeon Siege.

World of Warcraft. It shits all over Guild Wars too. Both of them. But on this shit-filled forum, no one admits it's even a good game.
