Yellow has a larger wavelength than blue/violet. Gamma rays have the smallest wavelength, Gamma drives would rock! Of course Nintendo customers would probably wonder why their hair falls out every time they play Mario Party 23...

It is a common fact that bright colors do gain attention, but when colors are too bright, they have the opposite effect. Blue is a more moderate color, where as yellow is hoping to only gain the attention of people that do like bright colors.
