Xbox720 what? Kinect Sports: Rivals Runs at 1080P!!!

I know you fellas like this resolution stuff. So, here

"Kinect Sports Rivals runs at 1080p and 30 frames a second on Xbox One, OXM can confirm. According to Rare's executive producer Danny Isaac, earlier versions of Rivals offered a maximum resolution of 720p, but the developer was able to upgrade the game over the months to run at 960 and finally 1080p."

He also talks about some other stuff about not seeing a difference or something.

Anyways this resolution BS is Microsoft's fault. They should of had the system complete earlier this year instead of messing with the settings.

Yeah, NBA2K, Fifa, and the new UFC game will also be 1080p, not that it matters, lol. But its obvious the dev tools were waaayyy behind. Can't wait to see the finished Titanfall, what Remedy does with Quantum Drive, Fable Legends 4 player co-op RPG, and Halo 5:) Good times ahead :)

Why can't it run a kinect title 1080p @60 fps??

If forza can, a kinect title obviously could. Simply put nobody would notice the difference, and the market for kinect titles probably dont care if they even know whats fps means so there really is no reason to make it run at 60fps.

Sometimes FPS increase from 30-60 simply isn't worth developing. For a shooter sure its useful, but for a Kinect Sports game? No one will even know the difference so why waste that dev time? Even the UFC game runs at 30 fps on next gen consoles, only because they saw no benefit when playing the 60fps build.

That's impressive, even Wii Sports Club runs at 1080p.

Ryse (4th gen CryEngine) has deferred rendering and it's 900p/30 fps.

Lol yeah......add to that fine print that tells you whether the 1080p output is native or upscaled from 720p, and then you'll know if you've got a real winner on your hands.

It was delayed so the developers could utilitize the features on the new devkits. This is what will happen to ALL the XB1 games come E3. It begins. Jump Ahead!!

Many of the PS4 games are running at 30fps as well. So what?!?
