Xbox one is finally launching in the last Tier 1 country based on the way they are treating it)

The Xbox one will be releasing in China in a select few days, Pre-orders have been higher than expected, and estimates among people checking with chinese retailer inventory, and a fews websites (which show pre-orders) Microsoft can at THE LEAST ex[ect over 100,000 consoles shipped at launch (More than Japan and all Tier 2 countries)

If they can keep up with momentum (if it shows to still be there after launch) this may actually become a new important Xbox market.

If they are opening at an estimated 100,000 at launch (and this was weeks ago, so it may be even higher who knows) there's clearly momentum. Retailers have revealed most pre-orders are FOR the Kinect version as well.

Pre orders show otherwise despite your hatred for the system.

100k. That's just over half as many Xbones get sold on average in the US a month. Post-launch figures will also be substantially smaller.

Amusing that considering this is the first Xbox console on sale there and the first console to get an official launch ever, there's nothing to compare it to. MS are free to spin it however they please. Clever.

Why would you think a random unbanning of consoles would mean consoles should magically have 500k launch numbers? Keep in mind that official consoles launches are competing with Iphones, Pc's, Black marker, importers, and family income.

I mean Nintendo had an official partnership there for years and sold squat, this is the same as 1 million sold in one day in comparison, plus, those are old pre-order numbers. It could be more, and in their defense, is higher than all other tier 2 countries.

@TigerSuperman: An estimated 100,000 consoles SHIPPED. That's all the Microsoft has been talking about this gem is shipped consoles. They could only have 10,000 pre orders while shipping 100,000.

No, it's an estimated 100,000 consoles sold. These are pre-order numbers based off. And that was awhile ago, probably more. You are just pulling crap out your arse now.

Never said that. Though lemmings in the wider world have tried the whole "if Xbone takes off in China PS4's lead is gone!!!"

It could be more, and in their defense, is higher than all other tier 2 countries.

As if that's a difficult accomplishment.

No ones said that.

Also it is an accomplishment, it means they have momentum in a large gaming market.

@TigerSuperman: It says shipped in your very own post and now you're going to back down from what you yourself posted? Maybe read the quotes you post next time.

Either way. Still not an impressive number. Now had you said a half million preorders and even more shipping I would give them congrats.

Preorders made lems think it would do well in Japan. How'd that turn out?

When every other tier 2 country is places like Singapore and Poland, not really.

China is F2P PC MMO land. The largest console market in tier 2 is Japan and it flopped there.

People need to stop with this China nonsense. It it not going to do anything big for any console. Xbox One has a 5 million console cap for this entire generation and PS4 / Wii U will most likely have that same cap when they launch there next year.
