XBOX ONE vs PS | PLEASE HELP!!! (OWNERS ONLY / NO FANBOYS)

I have been saving up for an Xbox One for a while and was going to buy it this weekend. I started researching this morning and am very disappointed. I have owned an Xbox, Xbox 360 and I love the Halo franchise. Sadly my research showed that PS4 is more powerful than Xbox One. I really care about graphics (PC is best I know but I like big screen and my surround sound). Anyways, I will not be able to play Halo 5. Also, I am not big on social aspects like Facebook etc. I also don’t care about Kinect. However, I love multiplayer. Here are my questions:

1. For those of you who own both is there a noticeable difference?

2. I bought my current HDTV in Dec. 2009 (Sharp LC40E67U). Will I even notice the difference in graphics? (Is there even a point buying a new console!?)

3. Any major advantages each has over the other?

4. PS 4 is $450 and XBOX ONE is $370 in Canada.

You can play your PC on a big screen and with surround sound. Why does this myth still persist!?

if you like multiplayer games and shooters more go with xbox cuz it has halo and better servers an stuff with xbox live

if you like single player games and netflix just get ps4 i wouldnt play any multiplayer games on psn.... sony does have a good store tho for buying single player games, i did hear sony is forcing ppl to pay to play online so xbox one might be just as good for netflix if thats true

I get this game in console because its console centric?

normally someone talking about a sports game or a fighting game who don't realize you can use a controller on PC.

My two cents:

Online multiplayer: Advantage Xbox One. Faster matchmaking, more reliable servers.

Controller: PS4 controller is larger but the Xbox One sticks are better imo. Advantage push.

HD installation: Advantage PS4. Xbox One takes forever to install a game but PS4 does it in seconds.

Personally, I buy SP multiplats for PS4 and online multiplat games for Xbox One.
